Hi all,
First thing, I just seen lots of HTC HD2 running android videos on youtube.
You XDA Developers are doing an awesome job!
BTW I am a total noob with this, so please be nice hahah
I have the HTC HD2 (T-Mobile USA) and would love to run Android 2.1 or 2.2 on it. I dont mind if it has sense or not.
All the videos I have seen cannot make call or there is no audio when making a call.
So my question is, is there an Android Rom already out that is pretty stable and that has audio when making a call?
Thanks in advance for your help.
After a lot of reading.
I believe I found my answer.

Hey all.
I recently got a new HCT DOPOD, and would like to upgrade it to 6.5.
A quick trial with a few roms and I found alot of them are too slow for my liking.
Another problem i found was lack of video calling on the Roms.
Does anyone know of a fast, basic Rom for a HTC DOPOD (or hermes as its officialy called) that has video calling.
Thanks In Advance

Did you actually test this one here? Hovering over the postings, it seems other users are confirming it´s working...
It was posted not a month ago... seems there is some potential for you to get to know the search function of the forum...
I don't know if it's the right place to ask, but, well, it probably is.
Can someone recommend an HD2 Android kernel with the proper drivers that would allow utilities, such as AllCallRecorder, to actually record both sides of a phone conversation on an HD2 ? I am currently running one of the Evo-based Android builds with one of the later Hastarin kernels, and have no luck recoding calls.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Me.
Definitely not the right place. Thanks for playing
If not the devs of the builds/kernels, who else would possibly know
Chefs and kernel devs would answer that. They read the Q&A section. If everybody had a question for them, the section would be chaotic. That's why there is a certain section for your questions.
Hello everyone,
I have the G1 since he is out, and now the Huawei X5 since I don't have a lot of money to buy an expensive and good phone like the S2 or the Nexus S.
One thing that always interested me a lot was the Custom Rom for all kind, available to the G1 and now the Huawei X5.... But one thing is missing, I've been trying to make my own custom rom, porting from one device to another but I don't really know how to do that :S...
I know that the Huawei X5 and the HTC Desire Z are very similar phones (same CPU, GPU, RAM and Screen Size). Some roms that have been ported to the Huawei almost all are based in HTC Desire / Z roms.
I've been trying to port myself a HTC Sense Ui rom to that phone, but I really don't know how to start :S... I don't mind of having a lot of bugs to correct, I don't mind of having a lot of scripting and hard programming in Java or C to do that, I love programming in all kind of languages, and I have created a few apps for Android, but only one reached the Market since the others are just testes (like games), so I really don't mind to have an hard work. As I like to say, learn is always I good thing, more if it is something that we like.
So I'm asking, for someone who knows how to do it to help me. I don't need someone to do the work for me, and I don't need an extensive tutorial with pictures. I just need, if possible, a simple example, and the necessary tools, the rest I will try to search myself.
Thank in Advance for all of you that take their time to answer me.
And I'm really sorry for my Horrible English :S...
Luis Da Costa,
+1
i want to know too
I think its impossible .
it's very hard to port a sense rom from HTC device to another HTC device.
any way here is a guide for porting sense roms for HTC devices:

Hey guys.
So today I just got my first Windows phone. The HTC Titan II, or as I like to call it - The HTC Radiant.
In other words I am very newbie when I comes to just trying to use a Windows phone (I must admit though, did only take me about 2 minutes to work out the main idea of how it operates), and.. I don't like it.. At all.
Sorry I am ranting a little here.. My question is: Why isn't there / Why hasn't there been an Android port for this phone?
It is a really nice phone, 16mp back camera, large LCD, 4g and an over good feel; kinda seems like a waste to me..
From my little understanding, the internals of this phone are no program for any Cyanogenmod porter?
Thanks in advance!
