What do you mean how? XDA forums pretty much never shutdown. The Dev's are from all over the world and someone is always working on something. Trust me they are already asking for people to provide the download link from the logs.
If it's possible to rip it then it'll get ripped. I'm just hoping it is not tied into a new radio since the G2 received a radio update in the package as well.
Its not uma, uma does a hand off between wifi and cell towers. This does not.

If ATT gives good and cheap plans (unlikely) then I sick with ATT.
Else, probably Sprint, I'm not too fond to get Verizon as they don't have SIM cards...

some phones on sprint and verizon are world phones so they use sim cards too
I hope tmo gets a really really good phone around Christmas time, nexus i wish, then I'll upgrade and renew contract... So I get to keep the same tmo contract for the next year and a half or two even after the acquisition finalises.. I like my 70+ /mnth plan with 5gb data on TMO... When the contract ends, then I'll be on ATT, i don't mind the 2gb data limit since I don't go past 2gb every month anyway, i think it will cost more too especially two years from now or a year.. Att might raise the monthly plans...

im not sure yet that is even if the merger happens the fcc might block it and i hope they do i dont want the cheap and great t-mobile to get vaccumed up by the expensive rip off at&t that claims they have the best coverage

I think tmobile will stay intact after the merge.. Most of the merge is backend, and tmobile is supposed to be a separate entity afterwards.

The merger is gonna happen they got a lot of power in the government I'm sad do I luv tmo there the ****in best just under rated so they don't get as much customers they got best 3G an they get revolutionary phones I'm really gonna miss it

Sprint! Probably leaving T-mo here in the next month or 2... either get the 3D or the new Motorola Photon when it releases.
T-mo coverage is poop everywhere I go except work and home. I know that is only like 5% of my life that is spent where bad coverage is, but I really like my coverage to follow me other than along interstates.

Idk. A friend of mine who works for tmobile was asked two weeks ago if he was okay with workin for att.
Ill personally go to sprint. They're the only us carrier that has unlimited data. I would switch right now but i dont have the money.

Virgin mobile. Already decided to get the triumph if it happens. Also it's stock android and unlimited everything plus 300min a month it can't go wrong. Im always in nyc anyways so coverage is fine

If you check for the latest OTA Update it enables Talk with video.. I updated mine and to test it I just had a little video chat with my neighbor and he was on his laptop just using the gmail webpage... kinda cool! but blurry though lol
EDIT: My bad guys.. I Just noticed the question was for the electrify .. =(

I've tried a million different things, the last was a program on the marketplace called "[root] talk 1.3 installer" I don't know if that,or a combination of everything I did got it to work, and by work I mean I only hear static, and the picture is like 5 big pixels.I think my best bet is to wait for US Cellular to roll out an update, which is to say buy a new phone

If its anything like the skyrocket, ATT will have it disabled and then Ill flash a rogers rom to get rid off ATTs bloat and activate nfc. Its not that difficult

Even though our p769 was at the end of the line of other L9 variants, for a phone that was just released at the end of last year, 4.1 came pretty fast. Good job LG. Sucks for HTC One S owners on T-Mobile

Not to sound like I'm complaining but.. kind of amusing how we're happy with a version of Android that's been out for almost a year already. I'm glad to see that LG is providing a pretty quick update for a non flagship device. Can't wait to try some Google Now action
If you receive this update please upload the zip file for everyone else before applying it. The file should be located on the internal SD.
Be aware that this may disable and block root.

I called T-Mobile and got in contact with a tech, according to them the roll out begins tomorrow and, if this guy knew what he was talking about, people with straight talk sims will also be getting the OTA update.
I have a family mobile SIM. Shouldn't matter though.

I'm guessing that given the update is specifically for the T-Mobile L9 variant T-Mobile decided to push the update back a day, I don't think LG can control when it goes out over T-Mobiles network.
Congrats guys, this means pretty much all L9s have a 4.1 update now. I'm sure P778 will be next.
Hopefully more revisions come out for the P768, the V20A is our only version and it's bloated.

Tried return to stock, OTA functioning, I received the original 2 updates to the 4.1.2, but no new 4.3

I called and talk to Verizon and they have no info on the release as of yet lets home they push it out for us cause this would suck to have them break the update dates
The s4 got the update on the leaked date so hopefully this does too. But it wasn't released until like 11 pm that night. Not saying the same will happen. We'll see I guess.

i am on the phone with samsung and they just want to tell me that the update isn't out yet for the i-605 so there is still hope for us yet
