I am planning to switch to a different launcher(I currently use twlauncher). Is there some way I can copy my existing shortcuts to the new launcher ?

Click to collapse
Shortcuts not sure, unless you use an external 3rd party application to create the said shortcuts i don't think so
I am using the Virus ROm but I se so many differnet Lockscreens with so many different configurations. How is this done? Only through the ROM or another program?
As far as I know unless you use a 3rd party app like widget locker the only lock screens available are the sense and aosp lockscreen. To use the aosp you would have to use root explorer or any other file manager and go to system>app and rename htclockscreen.apk to htclockscreen.apk.bak and reboot. Hope that helps.
So widget locker replaces or just overlays the Lockscreen?
Hey guys, just wanted to know if it was possible to change Handcent's default icon to the stock touchwiz messaging icon. Using the touchwiz launcher so can't use apps like better cut to put it on the dock. I did try using apkmanager to change the handcent png file, signed it too. Doesn't want to install. If i push the app to data/app it shows up but force closes if I click on it.
bumpity bump
I was removing some things from my rooted phone (primary the ATT bloatware, but also some other apps that I never use such as memo, diary, etc). At first, I removed the Clock application, thinking that I use Beautiful Widgets for a clock anyway. Then I realized that you must have that app in order to set the alarm clock. I put the apk back in /system/app BUT, I need to recreate the icon in my app drawer. (launcher is TouchWiz) Can anyone please tell me how to create an icon shortcut back to the program? Thanks so much
ive tried almost all the launchers avialble in the play store and the problem is that the icons get rearranges in automatically when any new launcher is insatalled is there a way by which the launcher can addopt the deafult set of placements of the icons???
Not really. You can backup settings with Nova/Apex and restore - but that's only within the launcher.
or use 3rd party app like folder organizer, that way you can just put widgets on any louncher and have the same icons/folders arranged to your taste...
I installed that software you told but how do I import? ??
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
YOu have to define it inside FO app...
