Hello everybody hope you can help me.
What are the steps for running Android via HaRet on my HD2.
I have a Stock unbranded ROM from HTC.
Copied the Android Folder into the Root-Folder.
1.) Runned CLRCAD
2.) Started HaRet
But Android does not boot.
HELP!!
What radio are you using? Do you have HSPL?
So Android "does not boot". Can you tell us what does happen?
I want to run Darkstones Froyo v3.1
Skript stucks at Booting Kernel
ROM Version: 1.66.407.1 (76641) GER
ROM Datum: 01/11/10
Radio-ROM: 2.07.51.22_2
HSPL is installed
SPL 1.42.0000
Hope you can help me
I already formated my SD Card.
And installed HSPL
how long are you giving it??
first boot sometimes takes 20 minutes............
I let it boot for half an hour

Then I'd suggest trying a confirmed "android friendly" rom/radio combination...
and/or a different android build......
I tried another Android (mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.8).
I installed Radio ROM 2.08
1.) I runned CLRCAD
2.) Runned HaReT
After the Message "Jumping to Kernel"
The display looks very scary, looks like a graphics bug oO
The orange Power-LED is on.
And nothing happens
EDIT: Now with the Radio ROM 2.08 I tried darkstones Froyo one more Time, and it boots, it seems that Stock Roms need Radio ROM 2.08.
Thank you guys

i've done a gold card and flashed my phone with a official 3.14 leo rom, havent got hspl anymore, android works fine but i am unable to flash a cooked rom, tried usb and gold card but both ways stop at 0%, does anyone know whats going on? thx
spl 3.03........
(WWE) 3.14.405.2
Radio: 2.15.50.14
Manila: 2.5
the batery life improved without hspl
hspl doesn't work on spl3 and goldcard is for official ROMs.
you must downgrade to a 1.x rom (as normal if it is your correct stock rom, goldcard if its any other stock rom)
this will downgrade your spl and let you flash hspl.
thanks, think i'm going to keep spl3, my phone has never been working so fine, i was just trying to find a way to use a cooked rom with spl3. was using hspl for all this time and battery run out in 12 hrs.. now, my hd2 is running android mdeejay froyo revolution all the time, no freezes, good data connection..

No, you can flash it over ActiveSync.
About stock ROM; with aria ROM do you have? do you have a branded device?
SPL - 3.03 and ROM 3.14... Affecting installation for W7?
I have noticed that I have the same problem with my HD2 6.5
I have on it:
SPL-3.03.0000
ROM version - 3.14.405.2 (04666) WWE
What my main concern is however, is whether you think it's possible for me to install Windows 7 on this model or do I have to go to an older ROM and SPL version to achieve this.
Any help greatly appreciated thank you

Ass for I know, to be able to install WP7 ROM on your HD2 you will need HSPL. And probably you know it already, but stock ROM 3.14 isn't compatible with HSPL, so yes you need to downgrade your stock ROM before.

To get back to your original SPL, you will need to do it using SD card method. If you use Activesync method, it will only upgrade the SPL and won't downgrade.
similar problem on my HD2
Thanks for the heads up, I did as suggested before...
So..
1. I got ROM 1.66 with Radio 15.30.50 from HTC forum and installed in order to downgrade my ROM
2. After that I flashed HSPL2 and selected SPL-2.08.HSPL
(After this it showed phone was hacked successfully and after it rebooted I can't get past the hanging white screen)
3. I *ignored this* then switched off phone and got into boatloader again and ran MAGLDR112 and the RUU loaded up to 100% and booted up but again it still hangs at the white screen stopping at the htc logo. That's when I thought probably step 2 was where I had hit a problem...
4. After a couple of attempts I decided to put it back to the 1.66 I got from HTC forum so I can use phone for the meanwhile
- I have been following the threads, and a lot of people seem to suggest that the white screen is something to do with having the wrong radio version. (Do you share the same thoughts or have I gone completely wrong elsewhere in your opinion?)
- And if it is a radio issue which do you think goes best with the MAGLDR112 and LEO70-ROM
- If someone could paste a link I'd be happy to follow it up

Not right sir, even if you install stock ROM over ActiveSync it will upgrade and also downgrade your SPL version.

Stock ROM 1.66 have radio 2.07.51 integrated; but Android builds needs minimum radio 2.08.50 so before you install Android upgrade your radio.

You are right about that. I stand corrected. This was proven through my tests yesterday. In the past, with my Athena, it worked differently.

2.07.50 also worked fine for me for WinMO 6.5 (Energy), Darkstone SuperRam 1.5 and WP7. In fact WP7 NAND & Darkstone from SD ran fine with MAGLDR112.
Updated Radio solved problem

Worked like a charm. I put on Leo_RADIO_2.15.50.14** from one of the threads and from then on I then put back SPL-2.08HSPL and then loaded MAGLDR112 and it allowed me to access bootloader and from there I loaded the DWI file for Windows 7. Everything became kinda self-explanatory after following your help... Awesome, Windows 7 rocks... Off to activate the live services...

Did you try with HSPL2_RUN.exe to remove you're HSPL? I mean with this application you can also shoos to set a spl version instead of hspl.

did you mean when you choose 2.08 and there is drop down for spl 0.00 something like this?
only choose 2.08.0000 if you have a tmous.
If you have a regular hd2 run hspl2 (hspl3 isn't 'better' than hspl2, hspl3 just has less options) then choose 1.66.0000

many thanks for your help, it means the 1.66.0000 is the default spl that comes with branded ROM??? and it does not violate the warranty issues?
regards
any spl that ends 0000 is stock and warranty is valid.
as for sd card, is it a 4gb or bigger card? if so, thats why it doesnt work. best results use a 2gb card.

oohh noo...another problem, I managed to install LEOIMG.nbh through sd card but now it wont boot and STUCK on HTC Logo, then to get it working I installed dutty v13 ROM that worked without any problem? couldnt understand how and why as where LEOIMG.nbh was installed without any error..
now I am on hspl 2.08
dutty v13 ROM
2.15.50
after fresh install phone memory is 11.30mb???
another thing i noticed when i installed dutty v13 the custom ruu.exe shows no ROM previously installed but when I click upgrade/update then it shows dutty v13 will be installed..i dont know why it didnt shown me the branded ROM installed already like 1.72 etc.. I hope you understand what I mean.
I tried to install Energy latest ROm as well that didnt boot either, only Dutty works??
Please guide me what to do?
Regards
it doesn't show the previous rom info if you put the phone in bootloader yourself before running customruu. this is because the "upgrade from" info gets taken from the registry which it can't do when the phone is in bootloader. its nothing to worry about.

but how can i downgrade to branded rom please, it wont boot if i install
also i just installed artemis 48.1 and phone memory is 11.30 mb available?
You keep on saying that it is a branded phone - to whom is it branded (O2, Vodafone, etc) and which country?
the 1.66 ROM is the HTC unbranded version. 1.72 ROMs are the branded versions (except for the T-Mobile USA versions).
Boot up into BootLoader (Press and Hold the Volume Down button then tap the Power button); tell us what it says on the coloured screen.

Sir the problem of small available memory is mostly cause to the combination of stock ROM 3.14 and HSPL.
So remove your HSPL before installing stock ROM 3.14

i think my stock o2 rom is 1.72 and they not yet released 3.14, you think this could be the reason I am unable to downgrade to stock ROM from 3.14 and that's why only Dutty ROM works with HSPL 2.08 and Artemis with SSPL 1.42.666 etc..

To go from your allowed 1.72 ROM or HSPL'd Dutty V13 ROM to Artemis 48.1 ROM, then you need to remove the HSPL (use HSPL2 and change SPL to 1.66.0000) and then READ the Artemis ROM thread.
You can only use Gold Card method to get Artemis 48.1 ROM flashing. SSPL is only used if you already have a Artemis 4X.X ROM or another 3.14 ROM already running.

for info the spl only shows 1.42.6666 for one reboot cycle. once you reboot the phone, the spl returns to what it was before.
I own a new HD2....and now i think i bricked it.
I installed HSPL3 on my device and then MAGLDR113 but after reboot nothing happened just white screen and green htc logo
I tried to uninstall HSPL according to manual stated in you tube but loading got lost just after a blink.
My phone is showing this info in bootloader....
PB81100 SS-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05

not sure if you are tmous tho you may want to start with your shipped or test masd 2.02 rom
As far I can remember, all tutorials said that hspl can be just "uninstalled".
The only way to get rid of hspl (and maglr at once) is to flash original rom
BUT FROM SD CARD.
Tutorial how to do that is in the "sticky" (third sticky in this subforum) section.
or better still, finish the process you started. . . apply a rom.
you cant just "apply hspl, apply magldr" and then stop, you gotta enter magldr and flash a wp7/android rom.
also, if you still have the original radio that shipped with your phone, it wont be high enough version to work.
enter bootloader and flash something like radio 2.11.50.x or higher.
This is not an error or fault at all, just plain user failure.
Did you try to flash stock rom? If activesync is not allowing it, then you can try it booting your phone in boot loader mode. But make sure you flash stock rom only.
Alternately you can flash via sd as mentioned by "rtomakov"
Thanks

Flashing stock rom via usb wont remove hspl!
so dear, you need to know this first...magldr will install in rom replacing your wm6.5......so after you do that you need a nand android build or wp7 to use with magldr or if you want wm 6.5, no need to remove hspl, just reflash the stock 1.48 wwe rom for india...search for that in the forum...this will replace the magldr..........just be sure not to flash the new stock 3.14 wwe rom over hspl..it will produce incompatibilities like small memory....if you want 3.14 rom, first flash stock 1.48 wwe, and then using hspl, uninstall hspl (select 1.42spl )...then install 3.14 wwe rom (be sure to flash india specific roms)

That's good to hear. WP7? I flashed it yesterday and then switched back to WM in just 15 minutes, not my cup of tea.

I currently have a MIUI android ROM installed but want to go back to WinMo 6.5 (stock). Now when i try to flash the ROM like i did before, its says on my PC USB Init failed, connection problem. The bootloader screen does say usb. Also when I try to flash trough the MAGLDR flash modus there is USB standing but i cant flash. I've also tried flashing the stock ROM from my SD card as an NBH file but it wont work.. Also repartitioning and all the stuff dont work because they all have te connection problem. I have tried multiple USB cables. Anyone know a solution??
you say that the SD flash doesn't work, can you elaborate a bit more?
explain everything you did, what ROM did you try, if you can give me the whole step by step you tried to SD card flash, including and file name changes etc
SD flash is usually the last resort and if you tried it with a genuine original Stock ROM it should work, albeit it will change the RADIO, SPL and ROM at the same time...
Hello,
I intend to downgrade my hd2 Europe version, from Android with Magldr, to stock Rom,
because of some bootloops i encounter after trying install wp7, so i want to start from scratch and try flashing wp7 or Android again!
I have HSPL 2.08 and i want to flash a Greek Stock Rom
(RUU_Leo_S_HTC_ELL_3.14.482.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship)
OR
(HTC HD2-RUU_Leo_HTC_ELL_1.66.482.1_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.07U_2.06.51.07_Ship_2).
My radio is 2.15.50.14.
So far i have made some research and i understand that:
1st. i must flash a stock Rom from SD.
2nd. The hspl will be replaced with stock SPL. Do i need to flash HSPL 3.03, as 3.14 ROMs on HTC HD2 Eu require SPL 3.03.0000 or HSPL 3.03, before flashing stock Rom from SD? What about 1.66 Rom?
The stock SPL version depends from the Rom which i would choose, or will be the same?
after that I just need to run HSPL4, install HSPL2.08 and continue with Magldr as i have done in the past?
Is there something I should be extremely careful so as not I have a fatal problem?
Thanks in advance everyone who will help a confused man!!!

just follow the guide on the relevant ROM that your interested in
but if your playing with WP then use HSPL 2.08
if your flashing a stock ROM via SD as you pointed out it will replace the SLP with the one that comes with that ROM, so it doesn't matter what you do, then you can use HSPL4 to install the required version for the ROM that you want to use. You can use HSPL 4 to revert back to a stock SPL as well, but if you have any doubt at all then just re flash a original stock ROM, you cant go wrong at all then
Well, if i try to flash anything from my pc it says connection error. When I use flasher modus the HD2 freezes and i need to pull out the battery. I also tried flashing the stock ROM from my SD card but that also doesnt work. I use MAGLDR 1.13 and HSPL 2.08 i think. The current ROM is MyMIUI V11.
i managed to install the stock rom but now i cannot install magldr. When i start the installation the hd2 shows bootloader, then goes into the installation screen but after 1 second it flashes back to bootloader.. any help?
are you putting the phone in to the tri coloured bootloader with the word "serial" at the bottom? plug in to a USB port and the word changes to "USB" then install MAGLDR?
just so im clear what you have tried
