Is there a way do increase the max headphone volume? On my old samsung (i8000), the volume was far louder than on my vibrant with the same headphones.
I'm using a pair of Sennheiser HD 212s.
Thanks in advance!

Is there anyway I can use the E160 headphones with another pair connected. I want to do this because the E160 headphones have music control on them, buh sound quality is rubbish and no bass. My Dennon headphones are being wasted.

For those who already have this device:
How's the volume? I know that my previous Android device (ZTE Blade) had quite a weak volume when I use the media player, is the headphone output much better
and louder?
Thanks!
already been shown to have aclose to the loudest speaker of any android phone yet. also youtube video already comparing it to the nexus s speaker. yes, its extremely loud, better than any other except the xperia arc i believe.
The volume is very good through the headphones (much better than my hero). The load speaker is good, but ill never listen to music on it; all phones have poor loudspeakers when it comes to playing music. They just can't handle bass yet.

Speaker i would say moderate in sound level .
Speaker like this its range will be set in the middle and no capacity for extra Bass or Treble .

You can get a boost to the headphone output using PowerAMP too, it has a pre-amp setting in the EQ that makes a modest but noticeable difference to the output volume with headphones.
Hi everybody!

I just bought my Amaze about a week ago. I have one large complaint... The headphone Jack volume level seems pretty low. The speaker on the amaze is great... Sounds much better than the sensation IMO... I've tried searches & apps and if anything the apps seem to reduce the volume level instead of raise it. I've tried 3 sets of headphones (skullcandy earbuds, skullcandy hesh, and studio beats by Dr dre) and volume is loud but not the ear splitting loud I'm looking for... So if someone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks guys!
PowerAmp. Best Audio. And Senheiser headset w Mic.

Yes buy another headphone i am already on samsung one and soud is awesome
i use Denon AH-C50MA and sound is great
What's you headphones impedance? Mine piston 2's are loud even 3 volume bars @ 16ohm
Well i don't care about my earphones impedance as my previous smartphone (S3) could easily drive these with louder sound.
I think i will probably give a try with Viper4Android.
I also find the Honor 7 volume levels too low. The phone speaker as well as the headset.
Call volume is low as well but you can fix that by setting it into speaker mode.
The low headset volume annoys me the most. (I use HQ headset)
I found the service mode menu and had hoped i could increase headset volume levels there.

Sadly, there is no option. I tried some apps from the playstore but they didnt do anything.
I'm currently (officially) participating in the Android 6 Beta so am not rooted or anything.
Is there a way i can increase the level already?
Or maybe once I have the final Android 6, can i root/unlock the phone and increase the volume in another manner? I want to stay on the original roms, dont want to flash something else on my phone.
Anyone else finding this annoying as well and has a fix?
I am running 80ohm sennheiser dt880 and the volume is high enough for me so every mobile headphone with 32ohm should be easily powered to painful volume . Not sure which media you play, but if you need higher volume i suggest a mobile dac as headphone amplifier
