I just flashed a new radio and it completed it but now my phone will not reboot at all , ive took the battery out and put it back in and still nothing can someone please help me
1- this is in the wrong forum...
2- you need to give a lot more info. like what phone you have, what rom/radio you are running and what radio you flashed. and what steps exactly you did. exact steps.
have a htc hd2 and i the radio is 2.095103 and i went to 7 zip and extracrted it their after the download went to a 100 percent and then the phone cut off and now nothing , no power
and i have diniks rom
and when i plug it into the computer it makes that noise like its connected but still a black screen
is it a tmobile us hd2??

if the radio you flashed has .51. in it then your phone is dead.
You may be able to claim it on warranty........ just dont mention flashing anything.....

Sorry man its gone........ those radios are for the EU Hd2's and will completely screw a US model.....
People have said that they managed to get a warranty replacement........ after all, you woke up in the morning and the phone was dead not your fault right??

so i tried everything i read about, soft reset & hard reset.i even tried flashing it to another rom and it worked but i still couldnt see the screen,and i need my phone fixed soon..what can i do?the screen is black but the back light turns on....help please

type of phone is verizons xv6800.and i can't see nothing it is just black with an angle you can see white on the screen..but i installed the 6.1 rom back in my phone to see if anything would happen.nothing..not even the three color screen appears..check the battery?

the 6.1 is stock,and my phone had been messing up for about 1 month now..
and i installed 6.1 stock again while screen was black through activesync..and it's on crickets network..i dont really want to buy a new phone..so im trying to fix it.i cant see anything on the screen i think im stuck at the screen after you hard reset your phone,because i turn the phone on and it makes a beep just like when you are trying to configure setting on the phone after you hard reset it.

hmmm sounds like your display TLCD screen is dead and or not making
connection .. I don't think any ROM is going to fix that.. you may need to
take it in for service ..
If I understand you correctly.. You do not see anything on the screen
even when “flashing” or after a Hard/soft reset?
Hmm hold down your power-button for 8-10 second, if you heard a beep
And still can’t see anything on the screen, your Phone is booted up fine
and working but your screen or screen connection is dead!!

Take you battery out and then press the camera and power at the same time and then put the battery back in....
Your phone should go in to the boot loader if not the phone need to go in for repair
Same exact thing happened to my phone. I sent it in to HTC and they were really cool about repairing it. All I had to pay for was shipping which was nice because I am not the original buyer of the phone and I'm out of warranty.

i bought the phone off from ebay and the warranty verizon told me ends june 2009..they said they cant do anything since i have it flashed to cricket..
but i know its stuck in the screen after you flash it to a new rom because i can hear it beep and that's when you configure the setting.
Call this number 1-866-449-8358 and tell them your problem. They'll give you the number for the repair center. Call repair center and they'll tell you how to go about sending it in. I don't know what they'll do if yu have a custom ROM on it, when I sent mine in it had a stock one on it.

why not relock the phone? flash back to stock .. then send the Phone to
Vz for service ..
going back to stock/lock they will not know you had unlock it !! but I guess you told them?

I entered XDA few weeks before and was exited to update my phone. So I downloaded 5-6 roms in a day and tested them sucessfully. then i finally ended up in selecting one rom for my phone.((SumitsProUsers_WM61_build21051_NewGene))
it was good the whole day but the next day when turned off my phone and later restarted then it just went till the start-up screen and stopped. then i removed battery and put it back again and turned on phone then all went in ashes.
My phone just blinks both lights, then green light comes and stops. no display nothing. then it constantly blinks the lights.
phone sucessfully enters boot loader mode. i tried to update rom once again it was sucess after 100% done phones display will be off and same problem again.
please someone help me out.
if possible then let me know how can i get back my phone to normal how it was before ie change my SPL back to normal and get my OS 6.0 back.
u need to go to RT OUTSOURCING (HTC Service center).i suffered the same problem.i got it repaired free of cost as my device was in warranty.hopefully ur device is in warranty too.even i did flash 3-4 times my new gene wen i bought it.later same problem occurred.its better u show it to the service center.

sorry bro,i stay in pune.search for htc service center.ask the shop from where u purchased ur PDA.if ur device is in warranty,they have no choice.they have to do it free of cost.

when i was using my gene i got a similar problem i went to boot loader ie tricolor and flashed a working rom and got my phone working
how to do this u need some advise from a gene user as it quite some time since i moved from a gene and i forgot the process

1:When i hold camera button and press power button, phone goes into bootloader mode. The phone not at all starting it just blinks red and green light.
2:Sucessfully i have tried 5 roms everything was fine.
3:Mine is New GENE
4:No warranty. its up.
Help me......

ok,i have read a ton of boot loop threads but none seem to be my situation or answer please be patient
so my s2 has never been rooted, flashed .. or modded in any way..
but all of a sudden it i guess has crashed,, to the boot screen, (samsung galaxy sII ) but it was a frozen screen, so i thought id let it work it self out, but it didnt do a thing, thinking that it may of needed a charge , so i plugged it in , and nothing... .. so i took out the battery, left it all day and came back to it, put it back in and started it up.. and it just freezes once it gets to the boot screen.
so out comes the battery once again, and i put it back in and plug into the wall. it shows an empty battery with the the loading circle,, but frozen and cant turn on or anything..
i managed to get it to recovery , and rebooted it , .. still no good ...
so i have not done anything to this g sII its stock from the box.. and this..
so is there more i can do ? any help would be great.. cheers
If you haven't done anything just take it back and get it exchanged, as pretty much anything you're gonna get as suggestions here will most likely get your warranty voided

Hi, ive been lurking on the xda forums for months, and have succesfully roooted and run darky rom on my galaxy s. then i got a wildfire s second hand.
Now i decided to try for s-off and a custom cwm rom. downloaded all the files read everything i could, and have managed to brick it i think.
Result if i press power or volume down + power i get a flickering screen, it flashes grey for 2 sec, black 2 sec. there is a faint red glow to the right of the front htc logo...where i thought the camera was lol.
i was trying to use the htcdev.com route. downloaded :
PG7610000_Marvel_hboot_1.09.0099_2.13.401.3_0210_R.exe
and tried but it said i needed an earlier rom before i could update.
2.13.401.3 to be exact so i downloaded:
RUU_Marvel_S_HTC_Europe_2.13.401.3_Radio_47.23c.35.3037_7.54.39.28M_release_236989_signed.exe
which was hard to find and a pain to download...i ran this, it found my phone, gave me the usaul warnings, check battery etc, everything set so i told it go ahead, it ran for bout 7 or 8 minutes my phone went to a black screen with htc, did a progress bar then it said finished on the pc. left it for a few more minutes to be sure, then powered on my htc. screen starts flicking grey and white...
ive tried removing the battery, cant get into hboot, get no logos, no vibration, nothing.
sdcard has been removed and sim card.
usb cable inserted charges then goes to flickering screen. pc does not detect any android device connected...
this was bout 2 hours ago. searched all the forums i know, googled, found one post similiar but no1 really helped him just told him to take back for warranty...
i live in south africa, dont know of any cellphone shops that can help me, please say its not a lost cause...
before attempting this my hboot was:

.........anything else you need to know just ask....oh was running the htc sync drivers with sync not running on a windows xp sp3 32bit...

When i start my phone i get some coloured lines down my screen they go after a second or so.
I was going to root my phone, when i put it in download mode the lines do not go. Is this faulty hardware or a software thing.....
Problem is i can not read what the screen says in download not etc. (if this really matters, i do not know)

Does this only happen in bootscreen/Download mode? Or always, also when booted fully, in homescreen? EDIT: I see it's just for a second at boot. :S
Anyway, take it to the store/warranty or wherever before it's too late. You should be covered by warranty if it's still less that 1/2 years since you haven't rooted.
