Hi,
I have a samsung galaxy s and would like to have the tv out setting on by default instead of off. When I reboot the phone the tv out turns off and I want it on after reboot.
Any idea where and/or what i can change to accomplish this?

Anyone know a way of doing it with the galaxy s2?
I did use the string
ro.csc.homescreen.defaultscreen=2
It worked fine on ke7 but I've updated to kh3 and now it no longer works.
After a reboot default.prop just reverts back to original.
No ideas?
i don't know how to change the default homescreen on touchwiz so all i can give as advice is this:
Try Go launcher EX there all you need to do in order to set a different homescreen is pinch on the homescreen area and it will take you into the zoomed out mode. after that you will notice that one screen is lit green just click on the home button on any other screen to change it into the default homescreen.
go launcher also gives you the ability to make your homescreens scroll without stops.
just try it and tell me your thoughts about it so that i try to further help you.

Thanks for your reply.
I've used Go Launcher many times and it's a fantastic launcher. However touchwiz is much lighter and seems more responsive so wanted to stick with it.
I was just hoping someone would know a hack.
+1 for this
I've still not found a way of getting this to work. I thinks its basically because default.prop file seems to always change back to its original state after a reboot.
So I add the line:
ro.csc.homescreen.defaultscreen=2
Reboot and its no longer there.
I have also noticed that after updating to KH3 the default.prop is no longer in /system location.
Does anyone know why default.prop now reverts back after a reboot and a way of preventing it happening?
Try the new TW from theme n application section.
It has the feature you need

Is it possible to do this yet without root? For example, have screen 4 as default so that you only need to swipe left or right by 3 screens?
Hi,
I have the keyboard dock for the tab 10.1 and everytime the tab goes to sleep it reverts back to the orginal android keyboard. Isn't there anyway around this? Everytime it goes to sleep I have to accept the notification that it needs to be samsung keypad mode and I need to change it.
Any help would be appreciated.
How do I change what I've done LOL? While changing my wallpaper I was asked if I wanted to set wallpaper as lockscreen I didn't mean to pick yes but did. How do I change the option back? I can't find it.
Wallpaper options can be found in Settings>Display>Screen Display
Settings>Display>Screen Display
I checked there is no option there
What about if you go to ...Gallery> click on the pic you want as a wallpaper> menu> set as >Lock Screen Wallpaper
I'm talking about when it gave me the option to set the wallpaper as lockscreen also and I accidentally hit yes. How do I put it back to no?
This will reset other defaults obviously but this is the only way I know of myself. There has to be another way but I can't find it.
Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > ALL > Android System > Clear Defaults
On a side note, do you remember specifically where you went and how you got that prompt to come up? I can test first as I just cleared the defaults myself but I can't get the request to come back up to ask if I want to make the change to both screens.
Its greyed out for me. Is there an apparently that can revert that?
Wouldn't the first thing you'd think of be do the exact same thing you already did...on another picture?

Hi everyone, I own a TUREWELL T95Z MAX, with Android 9 and would like to change the default launcher.
I downloaded various launchers such as ATV launcher or TVLauncher. They work, only that when I turn the tv box off and on again, the old launcher appears.
If I then navigate and press the HOME button on the remote control, the launcher that I set as the default appears again.
NB: In the settings I set the preferred launcher as "home app".
Is this normal?
Thanks

I add that the name of the manufacturer launcher is: "Mediabox launcher".
But what if I eliminate it? what would happen?
Is there a default Andoird 9 launcher?
@microinfo
The launcher that comes pre-installed is a system app means get automatically started after Android has booted. You only can replace it by another launcher of your choice if you freeze and/or delete it what requires device's Android got rooted. WARNING: If you do so then you'll see a black screen and nothing else, you can't open and/or launch any app anymore.

I would just like to replace it with another launcher. And prevent the manufacturer from starting.
ps:the device is already root
I dont think this is normal. New launcher should take over.

instead there is something strange. Some settings that the manufacturer has entered. It is as if it had set the luncher as an app that starts at the starting.
does anyone know how to remove the original launcher from boot andoird?
