Hi,
I have the keyboard dock for the tab 10.1 and everytime the tab goes to sleep it reverts back to the orginal android keyboard. Isn't there anyway around this? Everytime it goes to sleep I have to accept the notification that it needs to be samsung keypad mode and I need to change it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I have a samsung galaxy s and would like to have the tv out setting on by default instead of off. When I reboot the phone the tv out turns off and I want it on after reboot.
Any idea where and/or what i can change to accomplish this?
Regards
When I plug the tablet to the dock I see this popup where or how do I set this?
I use thumb keyboard which I've set to my default input device (when not docked) in Settings/Language & Input. When I first got my dock and docked the Prime it said that. I went into Language & Input and set the default input to the Asus keyboard thinking that the dock would not work properly. After getting frustrated using the Asus touchscreen keyboard I changed my default back to Thumb keyboard. Ever since I did that I've never seen that message again.
i just bought a new generic bluetooth keyboard for use with my Note3 and my tablet.
when I do normal thumb typing, swiftkey is being used.
the annoying part is that when i connect my BT keyboard, it insists on using Samsung keyboard as default. After disconnecting it, the default does not switch back to Swiftkey and i have to manually set it back.
2 questions :
1. is this the normal behavior?
2. any workaround to this issue? - best scenario would be the onscreen keyboard is automatically hidden and Swiftkey remains as my default keyboard, so there is no need to switch after i leave my BT keyboard on the desk.
thanks.
I love my new s5 but i started to notice that when i typed my phone didnt fix my words. I went into my settings and found out i dont have the auto replace setting. Is this a common problem? Is there a fix? This is annoying. Here's a screen of my missing "Auto-Replace" option.
Just download and switch to the google keyboard.
I prefer the Samsung one.
Hello, my S7(regular version) keyboard mapping suddenly changed. Some of the symbol keys have been switched around and I cannot use the top numbers row like I used to. Before I had to press shift to type a number, now it is automatically a number. I use the Belgian azerty keyboard setting normally but it is pretty much unuseable for work right now.
This change seems to have come since the last update and it is incredibly annoying. Anyone know a fix?
I've already tried changing the settings for the keyboards but to no avail. Even when sharing the keyboard with my note 9 it keeps doing this. Or when I switch to a Bluetooth keyboard instead of the Samsung keyboard cover.

So you are talking about the keyboard connected to the Dex workstation (computer / pc), not the S7 keyboard. Right?
But what update are you talking about? Dex update, or S7 update?
I assume Dex update.
So it seems to be a Dex issue which should be solved in Dex ... somewhere.
Oh, I have to update my Dex too before I can check.
Now I have DeX for PC version 2.0.0.21
In Dex settings - general administration - physical keyboard I set the same keyboard layout as in windows. And it works for me.
You can try to enable the option to show the screen keyboard in Dex.
Or just changed the keyboard layout to something else (in Windows and Dex). Hopefully you find a combination that works for you.
