Here is a preview shutdown sequence I've been working on. I made this very quickly and really didn't put that much time into it yet but it might be fun for other people to fool around with. I made this for a Bionix themed Rom. In the next week or so I will work on vastly improving this by adding double to triple the frames, lighting effects, textures and music.
To install.
1. extract the .rar folder
2. Replace the your phones system/media/video/shutdown/ with the files in the newly extracted shutdown folder.

I saw that you placed all .png files into the part0 folder. Did you experience problems with the loop part (the files in part1)?
Because this is what happened to me, too: Why is my custom boot animation not working?
I made a few blue ICS icons for CleanRom 4.1. I just zipped them alone in seperate folders because I didnt want anyone to ***** I was using someones work or some stupid crap along those lines... So anyways, here they are...These are NOT flashable. You will need to pull your SystemUI.apk, PCSC.apk and framework-res.apk and add them. Use them as you wish and I promise I wont ***** about it. Im still working on some of the icons. Its taking some time though. I didnt try these on any other roms except for CleanRom. its the only one i'll use.

Just a simple bootanimation I put together cause I don't like the Sprint part and figured why not share it. I didn't do a video cause this really didn't take that long to do. Has the standard Moto logo thing at beginning then instead of Sprint animation has a dancing Android. Here is a preview:

I put together this slick boot animation based on Google's special logo dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the Buckyball.
Although I made it for my GN2, it's in zip format and not flashable, so what you need is a ROM with bootanimation.zip support (CM10/AOKP do this by default, Samsung ROMs need hacks). Install it with a root-enabled file explorer or with a boot animation changer such as this one.
See preview below - it's smaller than the 720x1280 animation on the phone, but it should give you a pretty good idea.

Go to /system/media (or wherever your rom stores boot anims)
Paste it
I am not sure about permissions as I just install through Rom Toolbox since it's faster (except now I know about wireless ADB ._.), but mine are set as RWXR-XR-X (All on Read, First on Write, All on Execute, none on Special)
