I just rooted my phone and got the latest version of MIUI with some help from friend.
The miui is truly a great Rom. I really like it.
However, there are some really minor and major issue (At least for me)
1. Wallpaper color resolution is weird. No matter which wallpaper you applied or you use. There are few portion of a little green stuff like "molt" on the wallpaper. It's not obvious on black wallpaper. It is very obvious from a whole white wallpaper. I have voodoo color fixed and all that.
2. On the forum, it said GPS is fixed? I didn't really get a lock on GPS. I also tried a few other GPS app. still the same. Or I should restart my phone before everytime I use GPS?
3. Notification ringtones have to go thru music application, so there won't be conflict with Theme manager.
I mean I don't mind to do that. It's just somehow annoying.
4. Sometime App Market 3.0 is really slow (More like it's just loading forever until you reboot the phone)
Other than those issue. This rom is my favorite one and thanks all developer who create this Rom. It's perfect.
What is your question?

ok first off GPS is WIP (Work in Progress) so don't expect 100% gps functionality
no issues with colors on my phone tested with solid bright white wallpaper with and without a Voodoo Color Kernel.
Market is fine. If your having issues, use titanium Backup to wipe the market data, if that don't work make a backup of market uninstall it with Titanium, reboot and reinstall from titanium without application data
Notification Ringtone -- Menu softkey --> settings --> personal --> Sound and vibration settings --> Notification ringtone --> menu softkey select other and find the sound file you wish to use.

I Didnt Make That Projekt All Credits Goes to Paul From Ngemu Forumz This is a Pre Alpha
Tutorial if u want to change games go to app- folder then into the mupen folder than into roms , then delete mario.n64 but every rom that u got u need to rename it to mario.n64 or it wont work.
This Thread gonna be Updated By Me , if u want to do some changes here are the source codes and the test apk

I decided to post an official build with the virtual gamepad, so folks can start testing it. I probably won't have time to make any updates or bug-fixes until I get back home (there are a couple known issues, see below)
Test APK (source code)
Test APK 2 (sort-order bug)
IMPORTANT: You will need to update the app data, because several changes were made, mainly to the button masks. If you do not update the app data, you will get weird behavior of random alternate buttons pressing when you are trying to press other buttons! In case anyone isn't familiar with how to do this, the easiest way to update the app data is to delete the folder app-data/paulscode.android.mupen64plus from your SDCard, The emulator's DataDownloader module will then automatically download the new data for you when you start the app.
Known Problems:
The first thing you will notice is that the hat image doesn't move. I purposely disabled this, because the call to "invalidate()", which tells the surface to redraw, was ridiculously slow and having a major hit on performance. I'll need to rethink how to redraw without requiring so much CPU power (possibly some kind of timed "redraw granularity" rather than redrawing on every touch event that involved the analog stick).
The second thing you will notice is that it is really easy to "drop" the analog stick if you slide your finger too far (while running forward, etc). I'll need to implement some type of "stick capture" logic.

THIS IS ABOUT BETA 3
For beta 2 (old OP) see post #72
I HAVE CREATED THIS TO WORK ON WOLFXPERIA V7B6 ULBLDOOM
I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS ON ANY OTHER VERSION OF WOLF'S ROM.
I CANNOT GUARANTEE IF IT WILL WORK ON OTHER ROMS.
(if anyone risks trying this on any other stock based rom, pls give feedback)
(this can work on gaming version too. though i have not checked personally)
So here we go, presenting you with WolfXperia7_ModChamp_BlackEdition (beta3)
As we all know Wolf cooks the best stock based roms around, but as he himself told me he "stays so busy with ROM development, he doesn't get time to make addons/mods for his own roms". So I trying to help all users of wolfxperia by bringing together all goodies an features along with a handful of tweaks into a single mod.
Various people have ported things from other devices to work on the X10, and I've used many of their works. In case i lost track and missed out a few credits here and there, pardon me, and PM me, i'll add all your credits.
My own personal efforts are limited to modding the theme, tweaking the init scripts, and porting the panorama and play launcher app from other xperia ROMs and a few other apps. Other apps are either ported by others or are taken from the market. (I have used only free versions).
---FEATURES---
+provision to install failsafe settings through bootmanager customscript in case of instability
+ makes wolfxperia fully featured. contains all apps that a smartphone should have for optimal functionality
+latest trackid with ics looks (sweden version), latest market 3.4.4 (superfast), latest facebook
+ custom led notifications (like cm/miui) and custom headset button commands (like ipod shuffle)
+apple siri like app (speaktoit) included.
+ all black onyx wallpaper based backgrounds, two themes to chose from (see downloads section), fly and fold animations (smooth and swift)
+ retweaked taskkiller, vm and cpu settings. *might* give better battery life and better performance.
+ preoverclocked at init.d level. preconfigured sleep settings. you could do away with cpu adjustment apps like setxperia or setcpu control
+timescape is themeable using the semc theme manager.
+sweep panorama camera and xperia flashlight, xperia active app(fitness) along with lots of xperia arc apps included (as many as i could make work on this)
+provision for fbix sync bug and missing sms bug
---REQUIREMENTS---
1. a working wolf's v7b6 ulbldoom ROM (preferrably fresh install, but will work otherwise too)
2. doomlord's v6 kernel wiht bootmanager
3. the zip files you'll download from links below
---FILE DETAILS---
Please note that i have split my mod into 4 files because people were complaining about the size
the MAIN.zip is the main mod. contains all tweaks, and features mentioned above. it does not depend on AUXILIARY to run. it gives all features of my mod without installing the other zips
the AUXILLIARY.zip contains third party apps, timescape/music extensions, widgets etc which gives extra features to your phone. it can be installed standalone, but i recommend installing MAIN before installing AUXILIARY
The SEMCAPPS.zip contains *all* Xperia apps from various phones (pro, arc, active) which i could make work on x10. it DOES NOT contain those arc apps that are already present in wolf's ulblDoom ROM. it also contains default semc wallpapers, themes etc.
The THEME(Carbon Black) is the theme i created to use with this MOD originally. the toggles are grey, all icons on stats bar are grayscale, the wallpaper will automatically become black, timescape will be themes black, all menu backgrounds will turn black (backgrounds are based on stock sony black wallpaper). the dropdowns are semi transparent. it also has circullar grey battery
The THEME(cheap colour miui) gives a miui style status bar and all grey icons in system, settings etc are coloured. battery is bar with % (not circle)
****In both the above themes, the connectivity icons will glow BLUE when phone is connected to Google services. EDT tweaks are compatible with both.
#### AUXILIARY, SEMCAPPS AND THEME are optional. they ARE NOT required for MAIN to work.
####If you dont want to change visual appearance. DO NOT install the THEME.
####Don't worry about size of zips. there is lot of freee space in ROM area of x10. It will not eat up your data space or your sdcard space.
$$$$ The zips can be used regardless of whther the you have installed the others or not. you can install them in any order, and can install them in any combination you like
---INSTALLATION---
1. put the zips in sdcard
2. boot into xrecovery and flash the zips
##### i recommend the following order (1. main, 2(or3).auxiliary, 3(or2).semcapps, 4.theme (any one of the two provided)
3. if you are not on full-oc kernel, then flash your respective wifi modules (gregbradley's signature or doomlord's thread)
4. boot your phone. it might take an eternity. please be patient.
(if after the bootanimation, the screen goes black, wait for another minute, pull out battery, and then restart phone again. this should not happen but i encountered this once so telling it. may happen only on first boot, never thereafter)
5. If phone frequently freezes, or gives WLOD while using, or doesn't boot, then please go into bootmanager (preess menu key when blue LED glows at kernel) and "run custom script". this install failsafe init.d scripts
--SETTING UP APPS--
(i have included some precustomized settings for a few apps. you can use them or customize according to your likings.)
1. go to accessibilty settings, enable "light flow led". then open the light flow app, restore the backed up settings you'll find already present in your sdcard. customize further if you want.
2. open "jay's headset control" app and restore the backed up setting already present in your sdcard
3. If you use the "simple calendar widget", you'll find backed up settings for that too. restore that setting, and inside Appearance settings change "day text width" to 130.
4. open gosms app, go through the initial welcome screens, go to settings>advancedsettings>important tips and check "stock sms uninstalled"
next go to advancedsettings>receive settings> check "disable other notifications"
--REMOVED APPS--
>stock sms app (replaced with gosms) - thus no more missing sms problem
>efs explorer - use the root explorer in rom toolbox instead (included)
>stock browser - use opera mini instead (included) ... will save you lots of data usage.
>sound recorder - use rec forge lite instead (included)
--CREDITS--

EDIT:
There will be a lot of apps i instantly delete from this update because I already have paid versions or already have my own preference, e.g, skyfire instead of opera mini/stock browser...Good work though.
Also, has there been any systemUI.apk or framework-res.apk modifications? I only ask so that any kitchen work that has been done will still be able to apply to this..

yes delete unneeded apps before flashing ( that's common sense. lol)
this is actually meant primarily for ppl flashing fresh wolf rom. gives them loads of features to start with.
yes the framework and systemui are modded and so is semcgenericuxp. all background on all apps are based on black onyx wallpaper. (even changed trackid background, and play launcher background)
___edit______
you've not deleted any apps from my zip before making the mirror i hope?

lol no, the mirror is your .zip as you uploaded it.
Am i right in thinking if you only changed the background in the framework and systemui that wont have any problems with themes based on wolfs original framework and systemui? I use the transparent theme and wouldnt want to lose those effects

delete the "semcgenericuxpres.apk" file from /system/framework/ in my zip and replace it with the one you are using right now, before flashing it. and make a backup in xrevovery anywys before flashing. remember this is a beta and i have tested this for only 1 hr.

u can install any theme meant to work on wolfs rom over this mod as well. so even if you don't delete semcgenericuxpres before flashing, u can instal the transparent theme later on over my mod.

1. took ages to flash, maybe you could remove some system apps that wont be needed in the mod because they are already in the rom, 85 mb seems like it should be a rom on its own.
2. taking ages to boot up, it hit 2 reboots. Total first boot time was about 5 mins.
3. Not a fan of the themeing, but thats just personal taste.
4. got a wlod in go sms on setup.
5. Application lightflow FC
6. Calendar widget works fine
7. Math calculator is good,
8. Speaktoit seems good,
9. Lots of good work, I will keep testing and see how the cpu settings/vdd levels do

there are no apps here which are also on original rom. have included only those apps which are new or modded.

try it out preferably on a fresh install. infact i would suggest flashing your rom followed directly by flashing this mod. not even booting your rom first time before flashing this mod. that way there are less chances of errors

WLOD in timescape.
Looks like the vdd files are to extreme for my phone, it may be on some other peoples as well...
Including setxperia is a god way to keep tock voltages and allow new users to change the voltages without having to change a sytem file...
What is the smearing issue?
Our lovely SGS4 Super AMOLED screens are the first kind to completely turn off pixels when true black is showing...
Previous generation AMOLED screens used on the SGS1,2 & 3 devices kept power to black pixels which could be seen in a very dark room as a faint glow on areas of screen showing black.
So we now have true black screens with switched off pixels which is a GOOD thing... Am I right?
Well in theory yes but you have probably noticed a fairly annoying flaw when this is put into practice. The pixels take time to turn back on so whenever a grey or dark object moves across the screen against a black background the image will "Smear" due to this pixel switch-on delay.
How does this app fix this?
It's very simple and not a true fix. The app creates a nearly transparent white overlay covering the screen. This will make blacks a very dark grey which you will find hard to notice but it is enough to prevent pixels from switching off since true black is eliminated.
Use the Smear Fix app to launch the overlay and the Kill Smear Fix app to remove it. Simple!
Quick Guide
#1 install the "Kill smear fix app first
#2 install the "Smear Fix V1.4 app
#3 When you launch the app there is NO ui interfaace. The app with create a nearly invisible overlay which will cover the entire screen.
#4 The app WILL auto start on boot UNLESS you have killed it previously using the Kill app.
#4 The Kill App will remove the overlay AND prevent the main app restating on reboot. The control file for this is "smearfix" stored at the root of your SD memory.
IMPORTANT: This app has just one known issue/bug/quirk which is the same you will find for ALL overlay/screen filter type apps so I can't fix it.
When the app is running you WILL NOT be able to install any apps manually. The install button just won't respond. You will have to use the kill app to undo the fix to remedy this.
ROOT NOT REQUIRED!!
Install the Kill App BEFORE you install the main overlay app
V1.2>>> Kill app now properly kills the main app and service.
V1.3>>> Fixed landscape overlay
V1.4>>> Made overlay 1080x1920 properly this time. USES LESS RESOURCES TO RUN!!

Holy mother of God it actually works perfectly.
This is cool and all, but one major draw back is that, when this app is running, you are not able to touch the INSTALL button when say restoring an app via titanium.
I have this same problem with the app called Screen Adjuster (which basically does the same thing, just by slightly changing the RGB values to make the smearing go away). The plus side to that app is it has a toggle to turn it off quickly.
Seems to be working, thanks for the fix!

This mod will enable 5 layouts Floating Multi Windows on your Mega I9200/I9205 running JB 4.2.2.
DO NOT POST REPLIES LIKE "IT DOESN'T WORK ON MY MEGA 5.8", OR "IT DOESN'T WORK ON 4.4.2" CUZ YOU WILL BE IGNORED.
IT TOOK ME LONG TIME TO MAKE THIS MOD SO THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS TO READ THIS OP COMPLETELY.
THE SAME APPLIES IF YOU WANT ME TO TRY TO MAKE THIS MOD COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR PHONE VERSION, READ OP AND SEE WHAT FILES I NEED.
5 LAYOUTS? WHAT'S THAT ABOUT?
Think KK quad view style, you can split the screen in 2, 3 or 4 areas and open up to 4 apps at the same time and on the same screen.
BUT, this mod enables Floating Windows too, whereas KK doesn't (at least until someone finds a way to make windows float on KK, provided that it's doable at all).
See what I mean? No?
Then have a look at the screenies below...

That old thread was a bit messy with many flashable and non flashable files scattered here and there, so I decided to put everything in order by making a new thread with only one zip, moreover that the 5 layouts mod is a major update and that it comes with some improvements and bug fixes.
DISCLAIMER
I'm not responsible for anything that may happen, your Mega, your responsability. The mod works fine on mine but one never knows, so make sure you have a Nandroid backup.
REQUIREMENTS
A rooted Mega I9200 or I9205, with a custom recovery (either CWM, or Philz, or whatever) installed.
It works on deodexed Roms only, and it has been tested on DDUCNB1 (the very latest 4.2.2 firmware).
I can't tell for sure whether it works on other Roms or not, but my guess is that it does.
Please try and report (but don't forget to make a backup beforehands:cyclops, and in case it doesn't work upload your:
android.policy.jar
framework.jar
framework-res.apk
FlashBarService.apk
SecSettings.apk
and I'll mod them for you.
One things is that the current files come from my home made Rom and some have been green themed, so some icons and writings will come out green. In case you don't like it tell me and I'll upload non themed apks.
INSTALLATION
Using your favorite root browser navigate to /system/etc/permissions folder and find com.sec.feature.multiwindow.phone.xml.
Rename it com.sec.feature.multiwindow.phone.xml.bak (do not delete it, in case you want to revert back to static stock multi windows).
In the same folder you'll find com.sec.feature.multiwindow.xml, rename it com.sec.feature.multiwindow.xml.bak (same remark as above).
Now you can flash the mod from recovery. wipe cache and dalvik cache, reboot, that's it.
AND?
Now when you open an app you can see an icon at the top right or at the top bottom, press it, the app switches to Floating Window view.
In floating mode you can see on the top bar a close, a maximize and a pin button, plus a minimize icon.
The close and maximize icons speak by themselves.
The minimize icon shrinks the window to a bar like on a computer.
The pin button, press it, it changes color and enables you to keep the Floating Window (s) allways on screen.
Use the space between the pin and the other icons to drag and move the window wherever it pleases you.
While in floating mode you can press the maximize icon, or double tap the center of the bar, to get the window back to full screen mode.
Open your FlashBar (the bar from where you launch the multi windows) and look at the top, you'll see two icons.
One is for cascade mode, and the other for 2, 3R, 3L and 4 (dual, tri right, tri left and quad) mode.
When you press an icon it turns green, which means that the mode is activated.
If some windows disappeared and you want them back, or if you had too many windows opened in dual, tri or quad mode and want to put all of them in order, press the cascade icon and they'll open in cascade mode (but it only works if the apps are still active, if they had been closed it obviously doesn't work).
While in 2, 3R, 3L and 4 mode, if you drag an app from the Flash Bar it will open in dual mod (taking half of the screen) but if you simply click on it it will open taking a quarter of the screen.
Then it's up to you to open 2, 3 (2 at the top and 1 at the bottom, or the opposite) or 4 windows at once, to move windows from top right to top left or from bottom to top, to cascade etc.
In cascade mode you can resize windows from the bottom, the left and the right.
In 2, 3R, 3L and 4 mode you can resize windows as well, but to do so you have to activate (press) the pin first.
In cascade mode I've set the windows to be quite small because it's the way I like them, but in case you don't then just tell me and I'll change the size.
BUGS
1-The template option in the Flash Bar may work or may not depending on your phone configuration. At first it worked on mine but then it stopped, I have to look into it...
2-The tray bar (the bar between the windows in 2, 3 and 4 mode) is sometimes a bit erratic, but it depends on your phone configuration so you may not experience it at all.
3-Most likely the multi window option has disappeared from the quick toggles, but you still can turn it on and off from the display settings.
If you want the multiwindow quick toggle back, open the settings storage apk (AKA SecSettingsProvider.apk) data base with a sqlite editor, go to settings, find the line called "notification_panel_active_app_list" and add "MultiWindow;" (without the "" symbols).
4-You tell me.
ADD
I've attached a zip, DO NOT FLASH IT!
Unzip it, it contains com.sec.feature.minimode_tray.xml that may help in case you experience issues with the tray bar while in 2, 3R, 3L and 4 mode.
Copy it manually in /system/etc/permissions and set perms to rw, r, r (644), reboot.
OK, THANKS FOR THE BLAH BLAH BUT WHERE IS THE LINK?

I don't understand, it should work. At first it nags you to download mobogenie or whatever stupid stuff, you click cancel and then you can download the file.
I'm not sure whether it would work with the att version. You can try, but ONLY if you have a backup cuz chances are that it won't work.
Alternatively, upload the files I mentioned in op and I'll make an att version for you.
I have a rooted sprint galaxy mega SPH-L600 would I be able to try this it looks awesome
