htc sync 3.0
I'm using mdeejay's evo revolution 2.0 and I was able to sync this morning using htc sync 3.0. No issues what so ever. Though I could not find, and don't think there's an option, to sync your outlook email to your phone. It has calendar and contacts from outlook option but that was it.

Ok. So the 4G was officially released by TMo yesterday. The user guide says we can download and install HTC Sync so we can sync stuff with Outlook. Apparently this is not the case according to HTC. Are there any alternatives to sync the phone with Outlook?
Built in Exchange support
Exchange support is built in to the phone dude! I hope I'm getting your query right....
Go to the Mail app with the magenta envelope... add your exchange and choose what to sync.
That's what you want right?
Edit: If you don't have exchange server and want to sync with your home Outlook... I don't know the answer to that.
I can confirm that HTC sync 3.0.5481 does not work with my MT4G on Windows 7 64-bit.
I saw the Exchange connector. Not what I was looking for. We use a hosted email service that is not Exchange-based, but I use Outlook as my email/calendar/tasks client.
Neither version of HTC Sync works (2 or 3). HTC says device is TOO NEW to be supported yet.
T-Mo myTouch 4G
T-Mo Shadow - WM6.5 Pro w Sense
T-Mo MDA - WM6.5 Pro w Sense
you can use google's desktop sync to sync your outlook calendar to your google account, which will then automatically sync to your phone.
as for email, check what settings outlook is using to connect (probably imap) and duplicate those in the email app on your phone.

I have a question about the htc sync software. I have not used it since I had my touch pro and I don't remember much about it at all. Will it allow you to sync folders that are in your outlook mail folder as well as the mail itself?
I'm using standard exchange sync to synchronise my 1st calendar (my office), additionally i synchronise an exchange-calendar (2nd) (the customer where i have to work for months) and the 3rd is my private google-calendar (whife-information-calendar). So it would be nice, when i can synchronise dates between the different calendars on my phone but i cannot find a solution. Does anybody know?
Im using HTC Desire HD, Android 2.3.3, HTC Sense 2.1
To all the experts out there. I have a serious question (for me it is) for you.
Is there a program that allows me to wirelessly sync with HTC Sync? I know there is ADB programs out there, but they sync files. I want to sync my outlook contacts and calendar only, not transfer files.
I am using a rooted BAMF SoaB 1.04 Custom ROM with GoLauncher.
Anyone got anything?

Google calendar sync will allow yoou to sync your Outlook contacts and calendar with your Google account and Android device. Note: there are issues with the sync process, In my opinion this is not fully compatible with 64 bit win7XP or vista.
Good luck, easy to dl and set up
Does anyone know of a good and reliable way to sync with Outlook. I have a standalone Outlook setup for work, no Exachange or ActiveSync. HTC Sync doesn't even see this phone and the HTC Sync Manager the phone links to isn't available yet.
I have tried Android Sync Manager but that program is worthless. I can't get a status of the sync and when it finally stops nothing has been transfered to the phone.
Thanks
