Hey guys, i bought an unlocked taiwanese hero with android 2.1, but i bought it for my dad, he doesnt speak a bit of english, and this rom only comes with english and some asian languages.
I wanna set the language to spanish but i just cant, I've tried with this apks "custome locale" and "more locale" but they dont do the trick,I've tried flashing but it seems the bootloader this phone came with doesnt allow rooting or flashing custom rooms, can you guys be cool and give a bro a hand? Im starting to freakout

There should be a few custom ROMs with what you need, take a look in the Dev section. As for rooting, use BTDAGs guide linked in my signature.

2.1 Roms
If you want something looking the same but in Spanish, try out the stock rom from HTC, or maybe better the Modaco Custom Rom r5. They both work great.

You have to flash a complete ROM since Windows Mobile 6/6.1 Classic and Professional aren't multilanguage like Windows Mobile Standard 6/6.1! You can find an official WWE ROM with the board search!

I've been looking for a tutorial to guide me but nothing... I have to confess that I am completely lost at this point!!

If you intend to only flash the Official HTC ROM, then make sure your phone is not SIM locked, or flashing will fail.
If the phone is unlocked:
1) Download the ROM
2) Connect phone to PC, and ensure that you manage to have ActiveSync working.
3) Double click the ROM and follow instructions.

By the way, it's possible to make a multilanguage rom.
On my old HTC Prophet, i have a chinese wm6 rom, that actually have 2 languages: English and chinese.

How can we did it?
NetrunnerAT tried many things but didn't succeeded in creating a multilang ROM, so I think there's no hope for such a ROM ...!
It was chinese rom, for Prophet, i found it on chinese forum. (I believe it was xbeta.cn)
Once, i have found one registry keys that depend system language (originally the key was 0804-chinese, but i changed it to english).
After SR, rom get english language, but it was lagy/slow
I have asked about it on 4pda forum (it was first exp, i am glad that found such good forum) and the answer was simple:
The problem was thats rom just didn't loaded properly, because it doesn't have english paths (Only chinese), so some files didn't loaded.
So this litle problem can be easly solved by changing paths.
I didnt do so because i have flashed new wm6.1rom that i found on 4pda.
But i am sure that this is possible
I think all we need for it:
1)Multulanguage ready rom (With .mui's for correct languages)
2)For changing language, user will just run simple program (or .cab) thats will add new path's and new registry keys

I bought my HTC HD2 from Dubai, it's English and it's serial number is understood for Asia region on official HTC support page. So, I can not download and install a ROM from other countries, such as Turkish.
I want to update my ROM from Turkish support page, in order to have Turkish language in my mobile. Is there any way to do this?
Do I need to flash my ROM and Radio first? How can I download and install a ROM from Turkish support page of HTC.

This is not possible with an official HTC Rom.
You will need to flash custom rom (first read all about it)
So there is no way for me to use Turkish ROM, that's Turkish Language on my HD2 ?
This is the second shock for me, after noticing that there is no front camera on HD2
yes you can flash turkish rom, but you need to use hspl first.
apply hspl
download the turkish rom from "leo official roms" thread in rom development section, first post first link.
flash the rom from usb.

Im looking for a ROM that has norwegian (no-bm) menus, has win 6,5 with the same menus as HD2/HD2 mini? I cant seem to find anyone.
I found and tried a lot of WWE roms, they are really great, some of them, but i get tired of having my mobile in dual language!

I've flashed a rom and now I only have European Portuguese (wich is horrible for brazilians, if you guys don't know).
I've googled a little and a lot of websites say to use an app called morelocale2.
Well, it didn't work on Ace with Brazilian Portuguese. At least, it didn't work on my phone.
My stock rom had Brazilian Portuguese. So, there must be a way of putting it back again.
The question is: How?
Search for another ROM that supporr Brazilian PT and install it , same thing happened to me !! there is some EU ROM that support BR PT and some other Don't have it the Q is witch one have it ? not sure so get to search or try..

My Question: Today i became a HTC Titan from AT&T America, without unlock, but with Branding and only english language.
Is there a way to flash a European Rom to this phone, to become other languages, like the German one?

I'm not sure about flashing a european rom, but there are other languages in the windows phone oem updates under developing and hacking. They come as cab files and you use a pc app they provide to install them. That's how i got my latest update, and i had to install the language files with it. Ask in that forum and i'm sure they will help you.
