first i would like to apologize about my bad English..hope you'll understand everything.
so i really liked the idea that android on HTC hero can take contacts pictures and birthdays from Facebook ..but every time i roaming for a new version i have to link each person to his Facebook (because all of my contacts are in Hebrew so it can't take it by it self)
so it is possible to take a full back up of the contacts with the Facebook info ?

Last week my HD2 got broken, and now i am happy bout my new Streak...
BUT i am newbie with Androidsystems... so i registered for gmail and after searchin in the web i found out that i can import my contacts from my WinMo...
Now the prob is, that NOT ALL Contacts from facebook have their pictures (24 from 87)...
is there a reason for that problem?? Or is there a way of sync with an application?? In the Streak menu i cant link my contacts with existing fb friends (like in WinMobile)...

I have a HTC HD2..
I had sync'd my contacts wid FB months back. Due to some issues i lost my contacts on the phone. I got em back and after which i tried to sync it wid FB again.
Now, d prob is all that d info gets syncd wid FB except the photos. I dn knw y is dis happennin..Previously i hd all d photos frm FB aftr sync.
Ne help reg dis is welcome..,thnx in advance...
I have the same issue for about 2 weeks now. Looks like Facebook has done something?
I had my contacts updating their profile photos automatically. Now they don't update, I can't even look into my friends' Facebook albums. Nothing downloads, I only get crossed circles instead of photos.
I did a hard reset, I still have my stock rom (!), thinking I really messed something up. After hard, I'm still having the same issue.
I called HTC and told them what was going on, and the representative said that it looks like I've done everything possible, and it might indeed be something on Facebook's end. They were so kind to tell me that WM6.5 is dead anyway, I can switch to Android or WP7. Eh, thanks, not yet.
Dude...I figured out the problem myself.... I had changed the password fr my FB account recently...Do one thing, Log out of FB accounts from ur accounts manager and re-login again...and sync again...
FB Photos and every data wil come up...
i came from a htc desire environment, so my question is . after you sync your facebook and twitter account with your contacts . when you press on the image of one of your contacts do you see his status ("when you click on hes image")?
what i see is apps like (facebook, talk , call , message, video call)
do you see the same or above this apps you see the status?

I want to set a custom contact picture for some of my contacts (some use dumb facebook pictures)
BUT after a while I get the facebook picture again...
How can I resolve this.
