just adding. OP, go into the fusion 1.1 thread and download the entire rom, open the zip file and navigate to that poweron.wav file.

Alright I found it. Now does anyone have any cool wav clips I could put on it.

The wallpapers from Nero beta3

Does anyway know how to get the wallpapers from Nero beta 3, particularly the one of the eye
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Download the Nero Beta 3 zip file and extract its contents with your favorite archive manager. You should be able to pull them from that.
I have the beta 3 already, but what is the file path to find where they are located. I searched through alot of files and couldn't recognize anything that may be wallpaper related. Of course I don't really know what im looking for either

Use astro or something else to copy the launcher2.apk from /system/app to sdcard then extract the apk to a folder like a normal zip file. From there you should be easily able to find the wallpaper jpegs and copy. that's what I did to get the carbon fiber wallpaper from beta 3 .
XDA App
Ok trying now thanks .
Edit : worked thanks again

Don't know why you don't have one there, system/media is the correct directory.
Does the rom support bootaninations.zip?

Dont look in the sdcard folder rider. Make sure you.have root.explorer or.something that will let you into.the system files. Its under system/media. I believe.its also.where.all the default sounds are.

Using Root Explorer navigate to system/media and find the .zip you put there. Long press it and select Permissions. It should be set up as follows:
User: Read, Write
Group: Read
Others: Read
See if that helps, though Im not a Gingerclone user so YMMV.
Yes i just figured out its eugenes stupid.gingerclone rom

[HELP] bootanimation w/ sound

I found this smoked glass animation and applied it with root (no roms) by just replacing the stock one in /local/data folder and works well but want a sound I picked out and don't know whether the stock kernel supports sound.
If it does, could you guys help me out? I don't know how to mod the .desc.txt file...
I will look when I get home.
Files should be in /system/media though.

I tried making you files to copy and paste into your system. It was fine, but the audio clip is crap, and you can barely hear it. When I converted it to mp3, (which by the way was your problem.........need mp3 or ogg), and added gain, it about blew my speakers because you have a nasty sound which sounds like someone putting a needle on a record at the start.
Thanks a lot for helping

Not to annoy anyone.... But, could anyone tell me how to make it find the sound file?

I would download a boot animation with sound, and one without sound, then extract both of them and look at the file structures for each. Open the desc.txt file on both and compare them. You will find the main difference is that the boot animation with audio has an audio file in the zip file, and is called up in the desc.txt file.
Best to use 7-Zip.
When zipping your files back up to create the bootanimation.zip, you need to set 7-Zip to:
Archive Format = zip
Compression Level = store

Boot sound

Where do I put it and what do I need to name it? I cannot get the found to play at boot...

In sytem/media (the same folder as the bootanimation.zip), go to audio/notifications and put it there.
as to what to name it. the bootanimation.zip will look for a specific file i think, so whatever the readme of the .zip file says.
you will have to use root explorer.
BTW someone will probably yell at you for not putting this in the general section.
Thank you..finally got it to work

exactly. did you read my post? i believe i stated that.
The desc.txt does not list a filename for the sound but just merely to put an "s" to indicate there is sound. Do you or anyone else here know the filename to use? For the Hero it was android_audio.mp3 but for Motorola(s) especially the Photon, I haven't come across any specifics as to what the filename should be.

Not sure. i just know that when i changed to the Bionic boot animation, the desc.txt pointed to a file named Bionic.ogg. I just assumed that the desc.txt always gave the name of the sound file it needed.

Turning up the volume on your headphones
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
this works, thanks, most noticeably louder on bootsound of arctic.. now this made my phone too loud, but louder the better
When y trie to download chrome say "This file appears to be malicious."
Why ?
Very noticeable difference using Etymotic HF5's with the razr. Flashed the zip using cwm. Huge thanks!
Will this make a difference in the loudness of the internal speaker? I don't have a respectable set of wired headphones to try it on.. only a moto s9-hd bluetooth set, which I know this will not help.
Read a news article stating that beats only works with HTC music player right now. In the future that will change.
