[REQ] HTC apps for Vibrant - Vibrant Themes and Apps

Hi all. I have been trying to get the HTC hero music player and mail apps to work on my SGS (running Bionix Fusion 1.1/JACS UV/OC Kernel.... which is FRIGGIN' AWESOME) because I use my music player all day long. However, I have been totally unsuccessful. Does anyone out there know (and is willing to) modify these app for use on the vibrant?
I am attaching a zip with the music and mail apps and corresponding widgets from the Hero CDMA for you to use. I will keep trying but I am totally inexperienced in doing this sort of thing but would love to learn or figure it out.

[Q] Vibrant's Stock Music Player

Can anybody modify the stock Samsung Music Player so that it will continue playing even when under 10% battery? I find it very annoying that it can't, yet you can continue to stream youtube videos til the vibrant dies.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I think the latest trigger have this.

So would I be able to pull the player from trigger and use it on bionix v?
Thanks for your quick response.
I don't think its that simple. I'd think this fix was made through the system files not the application itself. So it would be more difficult if not impossible, as importing that file from one rom to another could turn ugly for the other one.
All that while supposing BT agrees to sacrifice his hard work on another competitor's rom.
It's the apk. It works...closes at 10%, but reopen to continue playing.

[Q] Is it possible ??

it this possible?
a custom ROM which is modified for gaming, I have an ancient phone here (mytouch 3g), it's still functioning but, when i run some games/apps it's kinda lagging,,
I mean, a ROM that has no Messaging/Email/Phone/google apps(except the market of course).
just a simple ROM with music/video player, camera/video recorder, gallery, wifi/bluetooth.
I want just to turn my old phone into a multimedia buddy, and let my other phone do the daily phone thingy.
no one could make this possible ??

Click to collapse
Idk about it, phone and messaging are tied into the system, if you remove them, you will probably get stuck in a bootloop. Doubtful this can be done.

OK, all clear
can someone suggest me a rom for mytouch 3g 32b (and kernel too maybe), which is good for gaming, im trying to run the game "tap sonic" in it, but it's kinda lagging,
maybe a plain rom without the this and that.
i don't do multi tasking. but still it is lagging when im hitting some notes.

[Q] Music Players forced close

I'm a little new to the whole android scene, so please bare with me
I recently rooted my HTC inspire and installed LCs IceColdSandwich. I'm currently on 1.4. Lately I've been having a lot of music app crashes. It started around the same time that I manually changed the default Music.apk. After that I would crashes on almost all of my media players (I have several because I'm still picking which one will be my daily player). I didn't notice these crashes until I changed this apk, so last night I factory reset my phone and reinstalled 1.4
Unfortunately the problem is still there. I'm bringing this up on the forum because I'm still not familiar enough to know exactly how to trouble shoot it. Do you think it is a problem with the ROM (I hope not, because I fell in love with ICS), or just the apps? I've seen this crash on Zimly (which is my favorite), Cloudskipper and Cubed. The only app that hasnt crashed yet is my trial of Poweramp.
Thanks

[Q] New Android user: I need advice about a good music player

Hello Everyone,
I just recently switched from an iPhone 4S and to a Galaxy Nexus on Verizon. So far I'm enjoying my experience. I experimented with Android in the past by buying a Nexus One when it was first released. Didn't enjoy the experience for a few reasons, but my main concern was with the way Android handled music. We're talking Eclair and Froyo days, now.
Recently, I ordered a beat-up, used Nexus One to travel overseas and found that Gingerbread had ironed out a lot of the music woes than it's firmware predecessors had. Mainly, the "unknown artist" thing, that I couldn't find any help.
Right now, I'm searching for a good music player that has specific features. Remember I'm an iOS user, and some of this stuff they had in their stock music app. Right now, I'm using "Android Music", not "Google Music", mind you. The reason for this, is because I'm familiar with it from my N1 days. I know there are better apps out there, but I don't want to download 100 apps that don't do exactly, or at least mostly want I want to do.
So here's the meat of the conversation, I'm looking for a music player that can do the following:
1. Transition between songs to be seamless, if the song is meant to blend into the next. (I don't want a stuttering version of Dark Side of the Moon)
2. Audio ducking. When I receive a message or an email, the music player I have now stops the song entirely. It's a jolt especially if you're driving and really annoying. This app needs to have audio ducking.
3. The ability to have voice control. I want to be able to hit the google mic button and say, "Play "Paranoid Android" by Radiohead" and it will play (sort of like what Siri does). But, as of iOS5, a huge annoyance I had with Siri is that she played JUST that song and didn't transition to the rest of the album. I've been testing beta 2 of iOS6 and it looks to have been fixed now. But I want that iOS6 feature with voice control. I know there are apps that do that, because my GN says there are when I try to request a certain song.
The rest of these are nice, but not deal breakers:
4. Perhaps a way to play audible formatted audiobooks? I'm not sure of the Android Version of the Audible app can download them offline, but I'd love to continue my audiobook addiction with Android.
5. A good, easy to use UI. Going from a 3.5 inch to a 4.6 inch phone is a big transition. I drive a good distance to work, and I want to be able to change songs and such without pancaking your grandma.
Those are my requests. I know that the Google Music app seems to have replaced the old music app that I'm using, but I don't want to use Google Music as my main driver. For a while now, I've been uploading to GM and I know there is an ability to download them offline. It's cool feature if I'm in a bunch, but I don't want to have to do that all the time. I like keeping a significant amount of songs on my phone at all times, and I don't want to have to scroll through a bunch of stuff I'm not currently listening in heavy rotation. It wastes time and remember, your grandma's life is at stake if I'm behind the wheel.
It sounds sort of picky, but I'd expect that from a lot of Android users, because I was picky on iOS. I jailbroke the very first iPhone even before it had an app store, and I did it every time I had the chance. I love options. At this point it seems like the stock app for music on Android is not cutting it for me, but I know there are options out there. Please advise, and thank you very much for your help, and reading my ramblings.
