[Q] [help] Hardreset? - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

how do you make a hardreset on the Xperia X10 Mini pro???
Plz help, and thx anyway

As far as I am aware, there are two methods.
1. If the phone can be started, enter the settings menu and go to the "Phone and SD Card Storage" option, then select to restore phone to standard settings. This will restore the phone to factory settings.
2. If phone cannot be started or won't boot all the way, try a software update/reinstall + master reset using PC Companion or the SEUS Update software, available on the SE homepage.
Neither method will touch SD memory stick or SIM storage.

After 2.1 Phone Reboots on USB Mount

I updated my x10 mini to 2.1 yesterday and now everytime i connect phone to PC
and click on Mount USB phone just restarts. Does anyone have the same issue?
although this is not a x10 mini thread, i experience the same problem (with my mini) after upgrade to 2.1. i wonder if it is not because you sync with "my phone explorer"... do you?
Android Commander
Use android commander to transfer files does not require putting into USB mount mode.
Or MyPhoneExplorer.
It used to do that back on the RF...014 firmware.
They seemed to like it so much, that they implemented it again!! lol!
*sent from my X10i
mine does it too. but it happens when i plug the usb cabel to the device so the software above won´t work..any solution?
When you connect phone to PC choose to "charge" after that choose "mount" no restarts
but it restarts just after i plug the cable into the device, i have no time to select one of these options
Have you tried connecting the phone with another computer, usb port or usb cable? If that doesn't work...
Have you tried connecting the cable without the sd card inside?
Try that, if it doesn't restart you know it's the sd card that's causing the problem. If you have an sd card reader (some laptops have them) put it in and copy your important files and format the sd card to fat32. You can also use the phone to format the card, but you will lose everything on the card.
Hope that helps.
thanks for your reply
but i had to flash my phone again and now i´m not having this problem anymore so far
Same thing happens to me too. Yesterday updated my X10 Mini Pro to 2.1, now the phone restarts, when mounted. I have tried on 2 computers (PC and laptop). Just now tried the suggestion to choose "Charge" and later "Mount" from status bar, seems to work
Actually, just now i remembered that this started happening not right after the update, but after i enabled Text-to-Speech or Speech-tp-Text or whatever it was. Will be trying to switch that off later.
for me the upgrade to 2.1 solved the problem...try to re-flash

I use exactly the same workaround on my X10 mini pro. This bug started after the android 2.1 upgrade. I never had it before...
It happens only when I mount the SD on Win7 and not on Ubuntu Linux: Could it be a driver issue?
EDIT: btw the issue disappeared after i uninstalled the live wallpaper

Wiping all data from SD card
A hard reset won’t erase any data on the SD card. If you won’t be needing the data saved on the card anymore, you may want to format it. Be sure to backup any photos, music or other data files you may wish to keep.
1. From the Home screen press Menu and select Settings, or tap the application slider and select Settings.
2. Select SD card & phone storage.
3. Select Unmount SD card.
4. The Format SD card lights up. Tap it.
5. Select Erase Everything.

Xperia mini pro little problem

Hello all. I've got a problem. My phone is Xperia Mini Pro. I did everything in this tutorial to install custom rom. First I downgraded my firmware, then rooted, installed CWM, unlocked bootloader and at last installed kernel from this rom, but forgot to move the rom on SD card. Now when i launch my phone I can see FreeXperia logo, but it stucks on Sony Erricson logo. I can enter Clockwork, fastboot etc. What should I do?
turn off your phone
take out the memory card and copy the zip using a card reader or some other phone.
then power on> go to CWM and flash the ROM.
Is not needed.
Connect USB cable to your phone and computer, enter the recovery, then go to mounts and storage and mount USB storage.
Your SDcard will be available in your computer as removable disk and you can place the .zip file to the sdcard. I do that all the time

Xperia mini pro storage problem

I have a problem with my xperia mini pro, so this phone's screen is broked in september 2012 and I've just fixed this phone today as my second device, so after that, when i received the phone, I noticed that I can't open camera because it says "No memory card", I thought that even though the phone has no memory card, it has two different storage, internal storage and phone memory, right? When I see the Settings > storage, I only see internal storage, Now I can't capture any pictures, download things, and more. I couldn't do anything.
Is there a problem? I also can't connect the phone with pc companion for some reasons that I don't know, I want to update the phone but I can't because of that. Please help me to solve this.
The phone is stock, 4.0.4, I've just reset the phone first because of what happened, but I can't do anything after that.

Problem with Prestigio Multipad PMP5580C DUO after system upgrade.

I upgrade this tablet by downloading software from manufacturer site and i use an app from manufacturer to upgrade. After this i cant load Internal Flash memory from Android and my computer cant see it like USB storage disk.
Tablet only see the 1 GB of 8 GB of internal storage. It cant read SD card too.
I don't know what I need to do. I try Factory Data Reset from Android options menu and it didn't work.
The biggest issue with this tablet is broken volume button. I can turn the bootloader menu with ADB but I cant choose anything due to volume button issues.
Traditionally... please help.
