Yes. If you check the bible in the dev section there is a link to the stock kernel i believe.
So would I be able to flash the kernel back to stock through cw or would I have to use odin? I'm just trying to see if there is a way to go back to stock kernel without using odin.

Search for "Ragnarok", you can do it but you are going to need to change a lot AND there is the unsolved soft boot issue. It will be a waste of time if you are indeed wanting to flash 2.2.1.

[Q] Screen flicker after modifying stock rom

Hey all,
I started messing around with the stock rom I got from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2080200
Pretty much all I did was pull some apk's from system/app and now after booting, my screen will occasionally flicker.
I did some digging on the forums here, and the only work around I could find is to disable hw overlay.
Is there a fix for this? Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks
Sounds like your using an old kernel on that updated rom. If you are going to use a 2.04 rom you have to use the stock 2.04 kernel.

Crpalmers kernel will not work. Flash the stock kernel and be sure you fully flash it(both parts)

what version of android are you using?
if it is based on samsung leaked rom you can't install a custom kernel.
if it is based on cyanogen base or samsung 4.1.2 base, you can flash siyan kernel !
Most custom kernels can be flashed with cwm recovery... But make sure its a .zip file
