Hi! The new update doesn't pop up for me I run on an x10 mini pro U20i, 1.6, 1.2.A.174. And I'm in Sweden.

i own a X10 mini pro.
I got i from e-bay with T-Mobile branding.
I thought that I could update to 2.1 and debrand at the same time.
My Idea was to first unbrand my Phone by changing the build.prop to the unbranded German and updating via SEUS.
Whenever the Update to 2.1 would be ready for germany I could then update to 2.1.
I got it as far as installing the UK generic build.prop and installing UK generic but, as I live in germany, i would be interested in the german Image. Just replacing the Number in the build.prop does not work.
Does anyone here have any x10 mini pro build.prop from germany?

Hi I live in germany too. I have tested the debrand method to replace the build.prop with the original german one that you attach. I get everytime the same error from SEUS and PC Companion that I have already the latest firmware. So far so good. But Iam missing the installtion button which appears when I have the original T-Mobile build.prop...
Can you verify me that the debranding works with your phone and you build.prop?

other question: i have updated firmeare for 504 version with update.zip method.
In version it says that i have u20i but on the back of the phone is says a10i.... why is this difference? all works ok !

Take a look at the x10 mini pro section, when it's booting you'll see it on the mini too
a20i/u20i = mini pro (keyboard)
a10i/u10i = mini (no keyboard)

my x10 mini pro still in version 2.0.A.0.504, and no updates from the sonny ericsson updater, to version 2.0.2.A.0.24, he say wich is my phone is up-to-date. Anyone know if it's a bug or is this right? He's rooted.

have u tried using SE Update Service software??? when i plug in my se x10 mini pro in it, it told me that my can still be update, i think the update is around 130mb something...

Update Service or PC Companion.. same thing, same result.
It seems that you have the newest version available for your country.
If you open your "/system/build.prop", there is a line starting "ro.semc.version.fs=WORLD-1-2-5"
You could try different versions, such as changing it to "ro.semc.version.fs=WORLD-1-8"
This should work but I haven't tried it.

This update is for the Xperia X10 Mini? Especificly for the e10a? Or is only for the e10i... If somebody had it for the e10a... ¿It would be possible to upload that?

Gingerbread is great, but that camera issue SUX. Froyo is awesome, but I had a lot of force close apps all the time! So I want to install newer firmware possible and do some hacks, like undervolt.
Mine is X10 Mini E10a debranded using Brazil´s 1237-9293 CDA.

My xperia x10 mini pro was originally in android 1.6 model u20a, then i update to 2.1 changing the buid.prop.and the model change to u20i, after that i can't use the 3g network =(, desperate i update to MiniCm7 android 2.3 trying to solve the 3g problem, but that not happend =( , also my battery ends to fast.
I just want to have my phone in android 2.1 with model u20a, any help??
