Hi everyone, I'm Nano from Chile.
I bought an X10 Mini about 2 weeks ago with a Cell Phone Plan to my operator Entel.
I was checking the news about the new OS, but seriously I think that this update it's gonna be really late around here.
The reason why I'm writing this post it's because I need some help about how I can install Android 2.1 on my device, like baby steps...
I know that first of all I have to Root my cellphone, and then I Have to install a program tha let me install an especific ROM, but no all the programs area available for my Android Market area...
Can anybody help me with this??

Hi all!
I baught the x10 mini pro to my girlfriend on christmas and i installed pc companion on my vista pc, however i can't download the update to 2.1 (sorry can't install this application. Please try later)
So i'm done with it and i want to download it (hopefully from here) and upgrade it!
I know i should search but i don't have time because i want to give it to her before new year's eave!
Please can somebody point me to a method/thread/guide to do the update asap!
BTW, how much mb will remain for app installation after update?
And is it still rootable?! (mabe with z4root?!)

hi everyone im new to this site but have known about it for a while, i have an x10 mini pro and have seen software upgrades to make it run android 2.3 but i dont know how to do this ,could somebody help me step by step(if you have time) tell me how to do this. i followed some instructions tonite but messed up.
im a virgin when it comes to this type of thing so be gentle!! thanks to you all and moreso to whoever helps me i tried slades version but didnt understand how to do it.thanks again

If you check x10mini development you should be able to find the flashtool from binary, it roots and flashes roms for the whole xperia range.

I have just bought my wife a SE X10 Mini Pro I want to install full english firmware as there is some chinese language in the phone aswell as English. I have searched this forum and have found some stuff BUT I want to do it right. I dont want to screw it up so I would like to help if thats ok. Can someone link me up to exactly what I need, both flashing tool and the correct firmware. I have flashed a SE K850i with generic fw without too much trouble. I take it this phone is a whole different kettle of fish??? Any help with this would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance guys. Im not too worried about rooting it, I just want to change the FW.

Hello all.First of all I would like to thank all the xda developers whos always hard at work improving our cell phones with bunch of cool programs
Im a complete noob at all this but with your instructions I managed to install GINGERDX on my Sony xperia mini 10a (american version)
Now my problem is my wifi could not find a network now after upgrading my rom. I was able to use my own network when Im here at home when I was running 2.1 on factory xperia
Is there a way to revert back to factory 2.1 like if it came stock on the mini 10 or before I upgraded to Gingerdx?
I might be selling the phone and just wanna make sure that I can downgrade it back to 2.1
Another thing that concerns me is that using my pc companion now when I plug in the phone it doesnt give me the option like charge phone and theres few more options on the screen and cant remember now..lol
Also when I look at the Phones info it says X8 on the model number ,could this be that I downloaded GINGERDX for X8 or both X8 and X10 share the same platform?
Any help is greatly appreciated guys

If you're talking about the x10 mini, this might be the wrong forum...
Anyway, you could try the repair option using SEUS.

Thanks brotha.It worked awesome. I just downloaded SEUS and run the program.Everything is back to factory setting

Hello friends, I'm from Brazil. I apologize if I am posting in the wrong place because they understand very little English. I bought a Xperia U plus it came with the operator customization. Would you like to help me make the DeBrand because besides other inconveniences not let me update my android to 2.3.7 and the root and if possible also.
