I'm looking for a very simple app. It allows me to go in and add quotes, I have an extensive txt file of my favorite quotes. The ones I find inspirational or motivational or thought-provoking etc. I want to populate the widget with that.
Every app I found was populated from other sites based on category, etc.
Anyone know where I can find it?
Alternatively a widget which pulls from a url and displays the returned text (I'm a web developer and haven't learned android dev. yet.)

I love your APPS however I cannot modify it.
There is no way right now to delete all quotes.
and we wont add that in future. as no need of such option.

Hello, I'm sorry for the strange tittle. Well, in my job my boss (an devoloper) ask me one think: Create an simple app that uses GPS to show near places.
I know that already have an App for this, but he asks me to create an from sources.
What I need is, how to toggle GPS in the app, or I mean: How do I make my app "call" GPS Positioner and looks for near places that was setuped before.
Like:
I open the app go to "My places" and set a place like: "Italian Restaurant 1" and "Italian Restaurant 2" and when I go to the mapped gps, I write "italian restaurant near" or, something that doesn't metter. And it shows the nearest Restaurant.
So guys, how to do this?
It's a development question: So doestn't show me any apks that does the same thing! I already developed others apps, so be easy and answer the question, mentioning HOW DO I DO THIS.

First off, the noob video was great.
Next: I have a Galaxy S2 (D710) from sprint running Cyanogenmod 10. I don't think that really plays into the question I have, but just in case. What I am trying to do is launch one app from another. Specifically, I want to launch specific remotes from the "Universal Remote" app from Homeseer's HSTouch app. I am using the full version of Universal remote.
I have had success launching the camera on the phone from HSTouch by following the posts here: "board.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=154394" (sorry for the lack of a link, I am not allowed to do that yet.)
Universal remote has a widget that can can launch specific remotes. When you set that up, it appears to use something similar to a url to launch the remote. IE: "ur://remote/Relmtech.Basic Input" to launch the basic input remote. I have tried putting this in the launch application dialog with no success. I have also tried any iteration or "Universal Remote" i could think of with no success. I don't know too much about the way that android works, but I assume that there is a "Path" where it looks for applications. When a command is given to run an application, it looks at the locations included in that path for the executable with the given name.. I am thinking that maybe "Camera" and "Calendar" are in that path, which is why they launch when those words are passed as arguments to the HSTouch app. Either "Universal Remote" is not in that path (not likely) or it is called something else (more likely).
So the question: Does anyone know how I can figure out what I need to put into HSTouch as an argument for launching these remotes?

This is a long shot but I've found that the best DS emulator (for Free) is the EmuBox emulator. I want to use it however I also would really like to use a couple of chets. I've been wondering if there was anyone that has used it that knows how to add cheats to it. I know it has to do with creating a file and adding it to the cheats folder but I don't know how to format the file or name it for the application to pick it up.

I've been using scrcpy and digging through Android documentation and now I think it's posible for an app to create multiple virtual displays usable with scrcpy, use cases are just having more than one app in foreground
My experience as a developer is close to none, so my question is, is this posible? is there any app, adb black magic or anything with similar function?
