Initial Impressions
Touchscreen reacts better to finger touch
Phone seems slightly quicker
Not true VGA mode :-(
No VoIP support in mine :-(
Windows Update seems to be working
Wi Fi seems better (doing the "bedroom" test later... worst place in my house... for Wi Fi coverage that is..)
No "Touch" like front screen :-(

well this seems to be just like the WM6 rom that is already posted. i upgraded 4 days ago and thing like opera load and faster and it has great mouse support. so since this guy wont post his version then jump on over to the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=320367 and upgrade now. **** dont for get to cid-unlock your device first.

nope does not seem to be included. Should it be in programs list? or?
I don't believe you will see BBconnect cooked on the ROM until an Operator with BBconnect support release a ROM for the Athena. Hopefully someone would hack BBconnect to make work with all WM6.

i am not sure to understand what version you are talking about. I have 5.2.1437 for a long time running (i am not very happy with it, I think is close in performance to WM5 but with more bugs) and looks newest that you mention. Will you put a link?

About the version of WM6, I have from dopodasia and I don't understand if it is newer that yours or not. Mine is rom version: 2.19.707.4, date 7-6-7, ExtRom 2.13.707.101, but CE is 5.2.1437 (17944.0.3.1), can you help me to understand ...
Ok people, a couple of you r trying to hack into my server. it won't work so i am going to give everyone one last chance. please dont' upset me, after all if you log on to my server i have your ipaddress so let all play nice
**Beginner if its not working try to goto IE then tools/internet options/advance about half way down makesure you have "use passive ftp" checked or just try restarting your computer. hope this helps

I already have CHT 1.8.5 & BsB on my device.
also want to know is there any update to reduce battery uses & any software for voice command.
I know i am asking a lot, but promise will try to share knowledge i get from you people.

Yes, there is newer official ROM, you can find it directly on HTC site.
Or you can try any custom ROM - there are lots of them, you just need to try (or do some reading first which one suits you best (they differ from very clean to "fully loaded" with tons of software, also some have "stock" look, some are fully customized).
Don't forget in case you choose to try custom ROM - first you need to update your SPL to some version of HSPL (exact version is not important, you may flash latest 2.08.HSPL directly), then you need to flash Radio (look which versions are recommended by the chief of the ROM you choose to update) and only then flash ROM itself.
Hi everyone. I am a complete idiot when it comes to phones so I thought I was doing well when I shelled out some cabbage for the HTC HD2 only to find that the WinOs SUX! Thats how I found this site. I am wondering if anyone can provide step by step video / detailed instructions on the best driod os for a tmobile usa htc hd2 with updated rom. My knowledge stops at turning the phone on so all the talk about radio and rom changes etc is foreign. I am stuck with this phone now and need some help. welcome to the forum; everything you need to know is DEF here......now with that said I have to be the first to say that nobody is going to be inclined to help you until you read up and educate yourself first a little bit. people go through the trouble of writing tutorial and making stickies for the soul purpose of informing people (such as yourself) with limited/minimal knowledge. do yourself a favor and take a little bit to familiarize yourself with your phone and read as much as you can and I'm sure that whatever questions you might have about getting started will be found. as far as which android os is better, well that's subjective. your best bet is to flash and try any and all and form your own opinion. good luck and welcome again.

and as the above stated...do some reading first before starting threads. Most often than not...people have been in your shoes before..all you gotta do is search. And Welcome, and good luck with your phone endeavors!
Use either darkstone sence or hdfroyo from darkstone by far best android builds. I got the crazy robot voice during calls with 2.13 tmo us rom. I would use one of the custom roms people on here sugest. Or do what i did and install the previois tmo us 2.10 rom. All can be found on this site. Look around there are plenty of guides and search on youtube there are videos on there also. Just a note android is much better than win mo but the builds are about 95%. They all still have some small issues, bluetooth not working, compass os wacky ect. But very useable as an everyday os. Goes on sdcard so your NOT replaceing win mo. If you restart the phone youll be back in win mo and have to start android again but its a simple prosess and there are android launcher apps on this site that will give u a win mo icon to launch android in one click. Pretty slick. Just do some reading you be ok.

You can't just simply "upgrade" the WM rom. You still need it to run the android rom, just like the fellows above said, read up on it and you will get going soon.

I just recently discovered the MIUI custom ROM for Android - and i've just fallen in love with it... Unfortunately I am new to this concept of installing custom ROM, and have a few crucial questions. The first one being - is it possible to even install this ROM on my android? I have purchased imported phone, from China (the W007 Android); For this I have done quite a bit of looking around, but unfortunately (where ever I have found a download link) for the MIUI- their all just specific versions (for specific phones). I am sooo interested in installing this onto my phone, but I cannot find a valid version for my phone... The Phone Details Follow:

firstly i setup lastest remix os versiyon on usb
and i need root
in this forum i found rooted version remix os
then i delete all files USB (all partition deleted)
after i setup rooted version. I noticed that the new version, the old applications and files are available. How could such a thing??
Because of this , some files were corrupted and the taskbar dissapper.
my question is where the old files can be saved??

@cagribo - After reading through your description, it's hard to identify exactly where the problems are because you're installing a rooted version (we don't support rooting) from a USB. I would suggest that you install via our official version off of jide.com and try again with our supported version. Thanks!
