How can I turn off the fullscreen texting when in landscape mode? This option only shows up on Japan keyboard in android 2.1
Its very annoying while chatting on ebuddy, I cannot read and chat at the same time. because of the texting area is covering the whole back ground. The only way to chat and read is to text in normal mode, but i use to chat in landscape mode
thanks in advance

Hello,
Does anyone have a problem with GMail where the font size is extremely large when you switch to landscape mode to read an email? The phone is fine in portrait mode - and it's fine in landscape to scroll through my emails. However the minute I click to read an email in landscape the font switches to very large.
Composing emails in GMail in landscape seems to be ok - it's only when you read click to read one that it goes super large...
Found one other thread on this in a forum for a different phone/provider - that guy didn't find a fix :/

Anyone notice when you switch to landscape mode and are typing a message the HTC text select controls are really glitchy? .... It will show up and then disappear basically not being able to move cursor around...
Seems like it's an issue with SwiftKey beta and landscape mode.
I have been an android user for 5 years but recently my S6 got broken. So I used my daughters old iphone 5s for a few weeks. I have to admit the texts simplicity was really very nice. I receive a text with a popup in the middle of the screen, swipe left to dismiss or swipe right and the message app opens with the keyboard popping right up. Very convenient especially one handed. With android I need to swipe down the banner, tap reply and and then also tap in the reply area of the message to get the keyboard to pop up.
Ive tried a few apps with good results but just nothing as simple as the iphone. Chomp ok but won't show MMS in popup and no sending indicator. Textra good but small banner popup only on top of screen plus no sending indicator. Yaata best so far but sends all my pictures turned sideways. Also all the texting apps show all my previous texts once I download the app but the scrolling if VERY VERY choppy. I do plenty of one handed texting and just like it to be as simple as possible. Thanks, Tim
I just downgraded back to AW1.5. One massive feature I miss from AW2.0 is the individual text message notifications. AW1.5 groups them into one tab saying x-number of messages, then you can tap to expand into individual messages. I mainly use my watch when I'm riding the motorcycle, so I can quickly glance for important messages at stop lights. My riding gloves are pretty thick, so the watch doesn't always respond to expand the messages. On AW2.0, I could just flick my wrist to scroll through the messages. Is there a way to get AW1.5 to display each test individually so that flick gestures can scroll through them without having to touch the screen?
