Hi!
I was playing with my HTC HD2, and was looking through some different themes.
When i was done, i went back to the default theme ( HTC BLACK), rigth?
But know the lower task-bar, dosnt look the same.
I mean, the words "Phone", "Menu", are not this " smoothe looking" like earlier.
And the letters look a little bit thinner?
Ohh.. And normally you only have PHONE and MENU in the lower task-bar.
Now i have (from rigth to left) MENU, PHONE, and then the START-FLAG???
Whats up with that
So i now have, Menu, Phone and the Start-Flag, instead of " Phone" and Menu" ?
It has something to do with the themes. But i tried them all. All is standard theme. But the lower taskbar, dosnt look like it did the first time it booted up.
Im running the hd2 with danish settings, but (Phone/Telefon) and Menu was the only 2 things in the lower task bar. The MENU was placed rigth under the internet-icon. Now its more to the left, and i got the stupid Windows Star-Flag furthest to the left now?
I want the lower taskbar to look like this again: ( File attached.)

winmo 6.5 roms have the start button at the top left (see your pic) winmo 6.5.3 and 6.5.5 roms have the start button bottom left, , , have you flashed a new rom?

Hmm, I bougth the phone from my brother. He told me that the newest ROM version was on, so I didnt have to do anything. And at the first bootup, its look like the picture. Only thing I did, was tweaking with BwB and some minor visual stuff.

Yes you have a ROM with WM6.5x installed.
Flash the original HTC 1.66 Stock ROM or the newest one to downgrade to WM6.5 again.

Welcome to the club... reading is learning, and there's a lot to read here.
Artemis is a custom ROM, so it's not original and by far not the latest of Artemis (he is at v41 at this moment).
Everyday new Custom ROMs are released, so yesterdays ROM is already outdated
If you want to flash an original ROM again, find out what kind of HD2 device you have...
- is an TMOUS or not (probably not, cause you have Danish Artemis ROM).
- is it branded (is it sold by a specific operator)
- what is the original language.
You need this to find and download the correct original ROM.
You could probably ask your brother, cause he knows how to flash a custom ROM, so he knows his way around here a bit.
But read before doing anything, cause you can brick your phone (with bricks you can build houses )

you dont really need to go through all versions of WM
you can go from 5 to 6.5
i would recommend a tjkhattak61 rom:

When flashing be patient as on the first screen after the setting wizard u will see nothing will happen but actually it is running. So wait until u get the message then on the menu that pops up u have to click with the stylus on the top right corner and it is approximation as Very Small or no OK or Cross is seen .
Please use the ROM without changing the Theme as a lot changes with Theme being a new concept. If at all u want to change then just use a background image and see the magic ( I would suggest using a background with Black color in it as the main theme will remain black although I have included a Blue one Also).
Copy all six files in the folder in c:\windows\temp directory and start DSUU. Select OS+Extended ROM by pressing tab key and then down arrow key from ur PC keyboard .

I've followed instructions here by trying to flash OS+Extended ROM as well as TJ's instructions by flashing All (since this is the first flash) but I get an error which says "no download target was found.."
Been reading a bunch of topics but yeah.. no luck.
Any ideas?

Did you flash anything prior to this problem or even install a program or tweak the registry?
i flashed a rom..
i tried hard rest.
nothing works.
but i think i did a mistake ,Full TMOUS Compatible with 576 RAM + 1 GB Storage and i have normal HD Leo..
can that be the reason?
The problem is if you have a TMOUS and flash a non TMOUS compatible ROM or even worse a .51 Radio. There is no problem the other way.
Did you HSLP flash your phone first?
The ROM you are flashing, unless it is a stock one (ie from HTC) does not include a Radio ROM. These custom ROMs will specify what Radio ROMs work with their ROMs. These Radio ROMs have to be flashed first, although if you go into bootloader mode (Hold Volume-down button and switch on), then connect and flash the correct Radio ROM.
yes i have HSLP 2.08 .
and i also installed radio rom 2.12.50 before flashing to the rom.

and i have a European leo version not the american.
so can that be a problem?

oh i see that's y it didn't work probably.
Please Can someone help me, I had a friend help me flash my HD2 because I had a dutch version ROM and I really didn't know how to do it myself and it seem working fine not until I got a call but couldn't answer it and the phone got stuck. Each time I reset it wouldn't help, it will gets stuck at htc and won't load up. I did a hard reset and it loaded up but when I tried calling it got stuck again. This morning I tried to flash a new ROM from CleanEX DsE Core ROM Series (6.5.X ManiMore) every thing seems going on well during synchronization from computer. it showed the last ROM being (Miri_HD2_WM65_21914_Sense25_V18.0). But now the phone wont get to a complete start up. I cant hard reset it any more since it keep continuing from the same htc screen spot before battery removal, not giving me the chance to hard reset from power down mode. when I soft reset it once, it got to the point when it ask for my pin code but it went back to the htc screen mode again before completion. now I cant do any thing just staring at the htc screen.
He first flashed the ROM with HSPL. I saw something like SPL 1.42 SPL 1.42.HSPL on the reset screen. Is this suppose to be the correct HSPL number? and how can I go about this, I need all the help please.

i wanted a stock rom so i searched online for the stock one and found
RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_1.48.405.2_Radio_Signed_15.28.50.07U_2.05.51.05_2_Ship
but this started heating up my mobile and so each time it gets switched off by itself.. so now i decided to reinstalled the previous one
so i re- cracked my phone using HSPL run and it was written we cracked it on the phone... then my phone went black again and it gets restarted by itself over and over again.......
help..wat am i supposed to do?
i didnt know that it would bve that big a deal to install a new rom on my phone and now my phone is useless...i cant reinstall the previous rom.....
everytime i come on the site new rom keeps on coming with beautiful themes and i want to installl them......
what am i supposed to do?

If I were you, I would do the following:
1.turn off the phone and charge it until full power (green light indicator).
2.go into bootloader (the four color screen) by pressing the vol down key and power up button at the same time
3.check your hspl and make sure it is 2.08 HSPL
4.plug your cable and wait until you see the "USB" at the bottom of the screen (it is advisable to use Win XP)
5.do Task 29
6.flash your Radio
7.flash your ROM
8. hard reset
Also need to be ensured that the ROM must be compatible with the phone (some ROM is not compatible with TMOUS)

My phone is useless once its start heating( which was not present when i first install the 1st ROM ,, my mobile was in Russian before so i installed the WWE, but on this version some programs weren't working, so i decided to install the original english stock ROM which found on the net as stated in my original thread.)

and i noticed another thing...besides heating, the other thing that turns off restarts my mobile is when im using the internet.....2 mins on the net and then the mobile goes on restarting itself ...i have to take off the battery for it to stop and wait for the mobile to cool down again...

i installed miri "Miri & Steve0007 Elegancia V4.0 | Sep 13" rom on my mobile and evrey thing worked well then i made soft reset but Unfortunately while it was reseting it stopped on the white screen where it written htc in green font, then i thought maybe it take long to reset so i waited for about 30 min but nth happened. Then i made hard reset and nth worked.
After that i decide its better to make format but i faced the same problem while i was formating cuz its also stopped on the color screen where the color is red blue green white, I tried several times but it keeped stoping, I also tried to install new rom but its imposible, cuz the mobile doesn't boot to windows so the windows mobile center cant find it.
Can anyone help me please??????

Oky you inform us witch rom you are traying to install, and that you have some problems with it. (it's obvious following your thread title)
but if you would some help there needed some more information.
HSPL version?
Radio version?
Device? Europa/usa model?
Did you tray to reinstall stock rom?
Did you read/follow the instructions on the threads where you got your cooked rom?

you did flash a matching radio, right?
You MUST use radio:
2.07.50.27 or 2.08.50.08_2 or 2.10.50.19_2 or 2.10. 50.08_2 or 2.09.50.29_2 or 2.10.50.26 -(Latest 2.13 T-MOU Radio)
Or 2.11.50.20 or 2.12.50.02

dont need to have running phone to flash. Go into bootloader, connect usb, wait for 'serial' to become 'usb' and flash your rom or radio, , , for you you should now flash a radio and i bet the phone boots.

I booted, worked, and then I wanted to put an android rom on it. I rebooted and now stuck at the white and green bootscreen.
I think this is referred to by "bricking" the phone?
What are my options?

Updated to Artemis v41, worked fine all day, all of a sudden half an hour ago phone stopped responding on incoming text message.. the reboot/shutdown didnt work either.. removed the battery, started again and stuck on same screen.. gonna flash a stock rom through microSD card now.. thats the only option

AHA you download latest stock, press VOLUME DOWN BUTTON and it boots
Don't download latest stock, will have wrong spl. Download semi old stock....
Artemis is built on latest stock base.. it has same spl version, v3.03 so no problem Anyways, I'm gonna flash v1.66 stock ROM through microSD and try EnergyROM

and yeah... if anything goes to "white" screen while booting... just hard reset your phone... its kind of hard to "brick" your device unless you install things for something else than yout htc.
