Do you guys notice that when Bluetooth is on in the car GPS turn by turn voice is gone? I am not sure if it's just me or not, but in my VW Jetta, when Bluetooth is connected, GPS will not speak at all... as soon as I turn Bluetooth off, voice comes back.
I think this was done purposely so the voice isn't talking when you are having a conversation...same as when the music player pauses when a call comes in and resumes when call is done.

hello, i use an new os xda mini s. i will use it with bluetooth-gps and tom tom navigator 5 in my car. can i also use an bt-headset at the same time to place a phonecall?
greets,
mikka
Sure, I do this all the time with my K-Jam, the external speaker will stop during a phone call. If you use BT toggle to direct gps voice prompts thorough your bt headset the call will still ring through and put the audio from the gps on hold until the call ends. I've hooked up an fm transmitter to the headphone jack and played gps voice prompts through the car stereo and they continue even if a call comes through the bt headset. Hope this answers your question.
I absolutely love the Titan but i think i've found a bluetooth bug that makes me want to throw it off a wall.
Try pairing your Titan to your car or bluetooth headset?
When I'm getting out of my car(s) I deactivate bluetooth or hit the button to so the audio switches back to the phone. What happens is I can still hear the person but the mic doesn't work. Anyone else have this issue? This happens about half of the time. I'm thinking its a HTC bluetooth issue.
I posted this in the WP7 thread on neogaf and someone else has found out he has the same problem. Its annoying because i'm trying to finish a conversation and all of a sudden i realize the person on the other end can't hear what I'm saying. My Focus or iPhone's never had this problem in any of my vehicles.
My titan has picked up the habit of connecting to my PC via bluetooth upon an incoming call. I switch the bluetooth to speakerphone in call several times a day; never had this issue.

You can turn off the speakerphone function on your pc by viewing bluetooth devices, right click your phone, properties, 'Services' tab, uncheck 'Headset Audio Gateway'. Now the phone will slow mute the audio to your pc and start ringing when you get a call.
Bluetooth music streaming to my ford sync nav is ALLOT better quality than my htc arrive. When it switches to voice thou... its horrible. Its like a registry setting needs to be adjusted to increase the BT call volume, not the music streaming...
Having trouble with bluetooth and my sg4. The bluetooth pairs fine but defaults back to the phone speaker when I get a call. The bluetooth headset eventually connects but it takes about 30 seconds. Anyone else having this problem?

I've seen some strange behavior widen paired with the Bluetooth in my Jeep Wrangler (UConnect) and with my Jawbone Era.
In the jeep, when I dial by name, it starts dialing, makes the connection and ends the call. If I dial from the phone, the call connects and seems to stay connected. I did a few hour-plus long conference calls where the Bluetooth connection to the jeep seemed to drop and I had to re-select the headset button on the phone app.
I haven't tried dialing by name with the jawbone, but I had one long running call where I had to reconnect to the jawbone.
I just installed the new update to Google Maps 7.0.2 and I have a question: When I am in my car, I use the Bluetooth connection so I can receive phone calls through the car speakers. If I use Google Navigation but say, I am listening to the radio, I can't hear the Navigation voice directions, since Google Maps is sending the audio through Bluetooth, but the car system is tuned to Radio, not Bluetooth.
Is there any way to force the audio instructions in Google Navigation through the phone speaker only when the phone is connected via Bluetooth? Otherwise, if you use Bluetooth for calls, you are forced to have your car audio on Bluetooth streaming all the time if you want to hear navigation instructions. What if you want to listen to radio or CD and at the same time hear the navigation instructions?
By the way, Waze has this setting. It is called "Play sound to phone speaker", which overrides the BT connection, which is in fact what I would like to do in Google Navigation.
Thanks!

It sounds like it might be an issue with your radio. I'll test mine and see what it does and let you know.
Hi, I have a problem with my Mate 10 Pro. Every time I use my car's Bluetooth, I can't hear voice on incoming calls unless I switch to the phone speaker and then again to the Bluetooth system. The same goes for music as sometimes it switches randomly to the phone speaker and then I have to disconnect a2dp in my car and connect again. This is really annoying and frustrating. Any ideas how to solve this? Never had any Bluetooth problems with my previous phones.
