psx4droid experiences - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Happily I got the update to 2.1 for my X10 Mini Pro last night (on O2 in the UK).
So today I installed psx4droid (it doesn't work on Donut ...right?) and I've had a go at some games.
As we all know, the X10 Mini Pro's defining feature over the X10 Mini is that it has a hardware keyboard, which works quite nicely as a gamepad if you set the key mapping properly.
Weirdly enough there's no D-Pad, so I've been using the layout:
Q W E R T Y U I O P
A S D F G H J K L ⇦
Z X C V B N M , . ⏎
▢ ⇪ ? ◂ ⊂ ⎵ ⊃ ▸ ' ℠
D-Pad
Shapes
Triggers
Select/Start
You can also map the camera key as a trigger, but obviously you can only pick one button, which would be useful for some sort of aim function where you need to hold down a trigger whilst using the D-Pad and shapes.
Firstly, don't expect to be playing the highest quality real time 3D PSX games on an X10 Mini Pro, they work but it's just not fast enough to be properly playable.
I noticed that the games ran a little more quickly if you set the scaling to Original.
You'll want a decent sized SD card for storing more than two or so of these games, they're around the 500MB mark each.
I don't have many games, but perhaps a list of compatible titles for our diminutive 'droids would be useful?
007 Racing
Works but it's far too slow.
5 Star Racing
Works but it's far too slow.
Casper
Seems to work fine.
Circuit Breakers
I found this one to be borderline playable, if you have patience you might be ok.
Crash Bandicoot
work ok but not full speed - liamguest
Driver 2
Works but a tad slow spoils the fun - Manny-
Final Fantasy VII
Works BASICALLY full speed - liamguest
Works perfectly (a tiny bit slow but still playable) - Manny-
Rayman
Just hangs at the Ubisoft logo, unplayable.
Use the GBA version (Rayman Advance) in the Gameboid emulator instead - liamguest
Ridge Racer
It all seems to work ok, but it's just too slow. I did manage to complete a few laps but it wasn't much fun.
Spyro the Dragon
Works "full speed..ish" - liamguest
I had less success, it was too slow for me - but my phone is completely stock with the official 2.1 update.
Street Racer
Really daft kart racer, doesn't actually involve street racing; works perfectly - if I didn't know better I'd think it was straight from the Marketplace.
Theme Park
Seems perfect, except the videos are silent. The first person 3D park view works really surprisingly fast, oddly enough.
Wipeout 3
Works very slowly - liamguest
Worms
Videos stop after the first few frames and I didn't hear any music, but the game is playable; I didn't play for long but it seemed otherwise perfect.
Worms Armageddon
Works at full speed - liamguest

havent tried it yet, but being a big emu fan I have used psx emus on regulay computers. The game that always worked was Tekken... give it a go mabey
( if I find my ISO i might fire up psx4droid myself )
the x10 does support OGL tho, unlike a Samsung Spica i5700 that I use for testing at work...

Here i found a nice work around for rayman 1 ( best game ever )
i used the gameboy advance emulator download
Rayman advance its the same but updated with new levels LOVE IT works full speed
also for GBA alien hominid i loved that game for xbox original
turns out it came out for gba and the games almost exactly the same so i was happy with that
Worms armageddon works full speed FF7 works BASICALLY full speed
and my fav game for ps1 wipeout 3 works very slowly ( not happy )
but exactly that its alll good
also crash bandicoots work ok but not full speed
and spyro games as far as ive used them work full speed..ish i now have my phone overclocked well more like permanently clocked at 600mhz for min and max and ive deleted most my processes now i have rooted it so i will retest and get back to you with all this tho.
I have tested wipeout on my device now it works a little faster but not full speed...
FF7 seems the same but it works perfectly anyway.
PLEASE NOTE i havnt used sound on these so when i say good or perfect thats without knows what the sound is like.

FF7 - works perfectly (a tiny bit slow but still playable)
Driver 2 - works but a tad slow spoils the fun
Abe's Odysee - doesn't work background messes up

activate the abes fix in settings.

oh thanks for that!

Configurations
So guys, is there any specific configurations for playing at a decent speed FF VII?
thanks

Been a bit busy, finally got round to checking this thread.
I hadn't thought of using the GBA version of rayman, thanks that's smart solution.
I didn't even bother testing Spyro! Great to hear it works, I'll try it when I get a chance.

if you actually want to get this working at a better speed, install something called JIT. its not an app its a java applicaiton.
it will speed up your phone when doing things such as playing games. there is a thread on here somewhere about it

do you use any kind of gamepad, bluetooth or otherwise?
some of the games (notably RPGs) seem to be fine - but others it seems kinda hard to play without some kind of gamepad.
I played several games for a while on Nesoid and Snesoid and had no problems with the onscreen controls. They both ran perfectly after tweaking some settings and preferences.
I probably play the emulators more than any games from the market.
^ exactly what I was going to say.
Wii Mote apps DO NOT work

SGS + emulator + tv out + wii mote would be awesome
what are your settings for the multitouch. I try to play mario on Snesoid but can run and jump at the same time.
It does look amazing, its faster that the actual Nintendo game

On screen controls work awesome on this phone.. I can still get ultras on killer instinct...

Yeah and? You don't need to bs us. That stuff is impossible from the phone. I love killer instinct and highly doubt anything other than cinder or the werewolf can be done and unlikely on ultimates. Not to mention that the more I remember of playing that game when I was a kid the more I remembered that other than the finisher ultimate you don't want to do long combos because they are breakable = you lose vs experienced players and vs the ai.
Meanwhile there are other reasons for external controls. 2 player games is one reason. 2 player killer instinct would be a lot more fun.

I find that hard to believe, i can barely get a 5 hit combo it's so hard.
I have a question about nesoid that you guys may or may not be able to answer. Its regarding the Game Genie function. I enabled it in options and pointed it to the rom on the sdcard, I enter (for example) unlimited life and unlimited rupees in Legend of Zelda and fire up the game...works great...HOWEVER...when I save the game's state and return to it later (even after re-entering the Game Genie codes), they no longer work after loading my previous state. Do I really have to start the entire game over again if I want to use the game genie codes?

PlayStation Store Game Reviews for Tablet S

Coolboarders - Not worth it
I just blew $6 on Coolboarders. I remembered playing Coolboarders 2 on the original PS, so thought this was a safe bet to try out the new PlayStation store. The graphics are kinda choppy, and the controls are really difficult. I'd hold off if you have your eye on Coolboarders, at least until the tablet works with a PS3 controller.
Its annoying because I have like 20 PSone games on my PS3 that I would have to repurchase to play on the tablet.
If anyone could rip /data/data/PACKAGE_NAME/libs/lib*.so for a PSN store game or get it out of the APK, PM me. I want to know how much the emulator has changed and if it would be more compatible with psxperia.
I downloaded WILD ARMS last night and played it for about 2 hours, I remember it being one of my favorite PS titles back in the day. Pretty fun, basic, linear RPG. Controlling the game with the on screen controller is very simple in this classic style rpg, but I could see how it could get more difficult on the faster-paced games since it's hard to keep a close eye on your thumbs while you're playing. That being said, animations were smooth and, although not improved much from the PS days - as expected - everything played perfectly. Would give 4.5/5 stars! I'll probably be downloading syphon filter and maybe midevil today!
yifanlu, if I knew how I might...
I watched a youtube video of someone playing Crash Bandicoot on the Sony Tablet S using a Logitech wired basic controller and every button worked, so I pulled mine out, plugged it in, and everything worked perfectly, I am excited. So I download a couple of games, start them up, and you know what? Not 1 of them worked with the controller perfectly (either the up down left right worked and the buttons didn't, or vice versa...). Yeah, I didn't expect for the Logitech controller to work, but after Crash Bandicoot, I was hopeful. Needless to say I don't like the button on screen style that Sony is insisting we use (until Playstation controllers are compatible).
I wonder when some good games are going to become available - I like RPG's so am anxious about FF7 (and all the FF titles, really), but there are many games I like on the PSX (Gran Turismo, Twisted Metal, Tony Hawk, Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, and on and on I could go...).

Word. I don't care how "livable" touch controls can be. No physical buttons = fail.
I know it's Sony, and everyone is trying to make bigger profits, but sometimes you got to give a little to get a lot. This is out right before Christmas season and by offering some nice incentives might make this more appealing to buyers (and existing owners - you know, word of mouth).
It'll never happen, but I wish they would make it like an emulator so we could have more options, although it would probably require root. Funny thing about root with this, I had the manager at the Sony store in the mall tell me that "it will not void the warranty if I was to root the Sony Tablet S." Granted there isn't a program to root it, yet, that I know of, but would like the extra versatility it offers.
So I ended up buying Hot Shots Golf, Destruction Derby, and Wild Arms - none of them worked with either of my (wired) controllers (I have 2, both Logitech, one with the joysticks and one without, both had the issues I mentioned in my previous post so I guess you could say they half worked...). The graphics weren't bad, maybe a little better than the original Playstation, but it's been so long since I played on one I couldn't say - I never played a psp.
I just checked out of curiosity and once you buy a game (now all are $5.99), it appears that you can download it at any time - in case you don't have the memory on your tablet, or need to delete a game to make more room.
I bought a Seagate GoFlex portable 500gb hard drive at Wal Mart on sale for $50 a while back yet I have Windows 7 and it was formatted to NTFS (with Windows 7 you can't format to FAT 32 which is needed to be compatible with the Sony Tablet S). I finally took the time to find a program to do so, so now I can store all my music and video's (too bad not emulator's and roms...) and have access to them on the go. What else might I be able to do with an external hard drive and this tablet?
Does anyone know when more games are going to be released on the Sony Store?
Did anyone tried with Xbox360 USB controller?
I'm using the Wiimote, works like a charm..
use Wiimote controller app from market and you should be able to play every game, even the Psx games. (i use the Wiimote when playing NES games trough Nes.emu)
i saw on youtube when using the Logitech wired game controller the played Crash Bandicoot with a Psx emulator, think it was called FPSe (google it)
Wfr Peter
Stay away from hot shot golf 2. Delay on swing and just not good. I remember when it came out for my ps. Loved it. This is the same game but the touch screen gives it a delay and it just Doesn't do it.

I refuse to buy games from the PS Store on this until they properly integrate it with purchases I have already made on my PSP/PS3 I am not paying again for the same game I have already bought previously.

Think GTA 3 will run on the NC?

Was on engadget today and saw that rockstar is going to release GTA 3 for the following devices.
Apple iOS Devices: iPad 1 & 2, iPhone 4 & 4S, iPod touch 4th Generation
Android Phones: HTC Rezound, LG Optimus 2x, Motorola Atrix 4G, Motorola Droid X2, Motorola Photon 4G, Samsung Galaxy R, T-Mobile G2x
Android Tablets: Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Toshiba Thrive
Think we have a shot or not enough power?
We definitely don't have enough power because we can barely run any of the higher end games (shadowgun) I'm sure that well be able to get it running, but probably terribly. Also this game doesn't even have that great of graphics... just bad optimization

Shadowgun runs fine for me on one of the later nightlies overclocked to 1.2ghz. I also have GangStar running with no issues to.

GT racing, Asphalt 6, Modern Combat 2, Sacred Odyssey all run great for me. That being said with Gameloft already having Gangstar (which runs great BTW) there isn't much need for an actual GTA. GTA3 might be worth it if there was a way to put the Real GTA mod on it.
fine, fine maybe shadowgun was a bad example but what about 9mm, riptide, fast five, dungeon defenders, etc. those don't even force you to have a dual core device... remember we're pushing 1024x600(thats 614,400) pixels of 3D on old hardware... also I'm not so sure about the definition of "it runs fine" these days. Some people seem to convince themselves that things run great when they're not (myself included)

How did you get the crosshair in the middle, the damage indication, and the dragable looking area to fill the whole screen??? I've tried tons of different versions to no avail I've even looked at your thread and used the version listed to no avail. thanks in advance
yea gangstar makes gta3 look kind of dated.
I did notice a bunch of slowdowns trying high quality games on my Nook however a second later I noticed I was running on the conservative governor and facepalmed myself.
Switched to performance governor and everything was a breeze...
One way or another, we won't know until it's released, right?
I wouldn't be surprised if it runs. The NC is a little gem. That said, how is it going to playable on a touchscreen? And... an honest question... is GTA III really that fun? I just picked it up in a steam pack and it didn't take too long for me to move onto Vice City (and then stop playing that a little while later). It'll probably be more impressive to run on a phone/tablet but it felt like an early tech demo compared to a lot of "modern" games.

The entire screen is bound to controls, take a look at the picture of it on engadget... its a little overwhelming
Touchscreen controls urgh...
I still pair a PS3 Controller via Bluetooth every time I play PS1 / N64 games on my Nook... I really hope they add Bluetooth Controller support to the game.
Yeah, having real controller support would be nice. I did see the screenshots, and it's just really hard to play games with a virtual d-pad and even just *two* buttons (to me), let alone 6 or 8, especially when it includes what are supposed to be shoulder buttons.
On a side note, I mucked around a little with the onlive app, and that suffers from the same thing (the virtual controls). That said, OnLive does have newer, more compelling games, although it requires a constant, good data connection.
Nook Color seems to me to be able to push Dreamcast level graphics at 1024x600. Most games with that level of graphics seem to run at around 20-30fps at best.
The main reason GTA3 is so much more demanding than seems reasonable is that it's a sandbox game with a large, open world. It's not all that much different than say Elder Scrolls.
Game is out now and market says it should work on the NC. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rockstar.gta3 Anyone got it to work?
It hangs Nook dead rght after intro movies. CM 7.1.0 Stable.
With chainfire nvidia plugin, screen stays black upon launching the app
soooo I take it as a no go. Darn. Well it works on my electrify but as stated earlier the controls take up way to much room. I'll try a wiimote I guess.
Anyone have any luck getting this to run? Would think it would be possible to and to control it with a PS3 controller connected via bluetooth.
Got it to work! Download GTA 3 version 1.1, use chainfire 3D and set default plugin to POWERVR, awful cellphone video below:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKN9QRGq09E
EDIT: Will test more in the morning, jump to 1:00 to see 30 seconds of "gameplay" before I flip the car
why do we have to use the powervr plugin? nook color actually has a powervr gpu
I didnt need any plug in. I installed CM7 last night and gta was in "my apps" and it runs better than on my shift. Lol

Compatible Games with PS3 Controller

Hi Guys,
Can anyone confirm the games which are compatible with PS3 Controller?
I am thinking of buying one..
LIST OF COMPATIBLE GAMES:
GTA3
Muffin Knight
Pool Break
Riptide GP
ShadowGun
Shine Runner
Sonic CD
Soulcraft THD
Well for my own experience, here is my two cents
psone games (ofcourse)
nes.emu (Nintendo Entertainment System)
snes9x Ex (Super Nintendo) <-- this one however I believe is removed from Market.
ColEm (Coleco Vision)
I have not had time to try any other. But I believe there is more than this that would work. It is well worth the money to buy one, if you ask me.
well, I am looking for android games which are compatible with PS3 controller..

GTA 3 works well with controller
GTA 3 works well. Button mappings are a bit different than the original but once you get the hang of them it is very playable.
Cm'on guys..please try and confirm if other good android games can b played with ps3 controller..
Sega Sonic Adventure is supported I believe..

Are you referring to sonic cd? Or is sonic adventure on the market too now? If so holy crap why can't I find it
Also you could just get n64droid, a nintendo 64 emulator. Works pretty well on the sony tablet. It allows for complete control mapping, so you could be tearing up some Zelda or Mario cart on a Sony controller .
The developer did however pull it from the market for some reason (even though he had plenty of customers like me that paid around $6 for it), so you will have to find it elsewhere. Development for it has continued even though its not on market... confusing.

I can tell you that ShadowGun is fully working (already finished), just go to setup/gamepad and map your keys
also played 3 minutes Inertia HD... not really impressed by it... but it's working
Sonic CD is definitly compatible. There are some weird things like not being able to pause in game using the controller (you have to presss the pause icon on the screen) but otherwise it works fine.
Edit: I just reread the original post and it loks like i misunderstood. I thought you were looking for confirmation on GTA and Sonic CD being compatible with the PS3 controller. When I get a chance I'll see what else I have on my tablet that I can add to you list. to note, all emulators ive tried (FPSE, Gameboid, Snesoid, Nesoid, Gensoid, GBCoid, Ataroid and Gearoid) work with the ps3 controller
Shadowgun works GREAT once you assign the buttons, but the analog sticks work natively and brilliantly.

PES12 not works!!!
inviato dal mio Sony Tablet S usando Tapatalk HD
Hmm this is a great thread. I was wondering that myself.
Anyways, Muffin Knight does work with the controller... but I don't think you can use a button to jump. you have to use the up key on the dpad to jump. This makes it tough, especially when you get the double jump ability.
I have a load of games on my tablet which I'll test tomorrow. If anyone wants me to specifically try a certain game just ask. I have about 150 games purchased now and no qualms about buying more lol.
It's great to hear shadow gun works btw! I refuse to buy fps games on a touch screen because I can't control them to save my life lol. I'll list what I come up with by Friday at the latest
List of Working and non working titles
I got up early and started testing a few games. I'll include a list of non working titles as well just so everyone knows. Any notes will be in brackets after the title
NOTE: I decided to add an Almost working section in the middle of the list. Theres a couple games that nearly work 100% but a critical button doesn't work. Emailing the devs may get that fixed promptly!
WORKING
-Shadowgun
-SupaSupaX (Unable to pause with controller)
-Muffin Knight (Have to jump with up on d-pad)
-All PS1 games from the PS Store
-Soulcraft THD (Works great!!!)
-Sleepy Jack (Works....but controls are a little weird. You click the left stick to shoot and click the right stick to use the slow bomb)
-Grand Theft Auto 3
-Shine Runner
-Symphony of eternity (Although you need to click the left stick to accept combat decisions)
ALMOST WORKING
-They Need to be Fed (left/right work on dpad and analog stick, but jump doesn't!)
-Karoshi (Left/right working on dpad and stick again, but unable to jump)
-Dark Incursion (Jump and shoot are combined into the X button..powers don't work)
-Reckless getaway (Left right work, can't activate pickups)
NOT WORKING
-Pocket Legends
-Dungeon Defenders
-Bang Bang Racing THD (Drag...I can barely play this with the on screen controls)
-Dead On arrival
-Attack from outer space
-Wind up Knight
-Mike V- Skateboard Party
-Summit X Snowboarding
-Minecraft Pocket Edition
-Destinia
-Megastunt Mayhem
-Age of Zombies
-Puffle Launch
That's it for now. Is it possible for a moderator to keep a stickied post at the top of all 100% working games? If not, no big deal. We can just periodically copy/paste all working games with new additions as the last post.
How about onlive? Can anyone confirm if this works with the ps3 controller?
Has anyone tried Sonic 4 Episode 1? I'd like to know how well it works
compatible titles
thanks for this list, i'll keep my eyes open for more. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to get some things out here in Kuwait, but when I get home I'll check some more ut.

CyanogenMod 9 Gaming thread

Hey xda-ers
I've been on the cm9 beta for a little while now and it seems like there are a lot of games that work quite well in the alpha and some that are a screen-tearing, frame-dropping mess. So I have the idea to start up this thread, a thread primarily dedicated to sharing which games work really well on cm9. I personally will be posting review sort of things on here that go quite in-depth but you guys can post in however much detail you want. You can post about the hardest of hardcore games to the easiest of casual games but as long as its relevant it will hopefully be appreciated. I do want to have a couple of rules for this thread and they're as follows:
*No bashing other peoples reviews or opinions- everyone is entitled to their own opinion and while I'm ok with a respectful discussion I don't want flame wars in here.
*Please keep it relevant to cm9- this thread is about _cm9_ gaming, I don't care if you go and make a gaming thread for a different rom but I don't want posts about cm7 or MIUI in here.
*have fun- don't feel obligated to post something if you don't want to. Try to have fun in here and I'll try to too.
Well thanks guys I hope we can all help each other find some good games to play, please follow the rules and hopefully this will be a nice thread to be in.
Help make this community a little nicer guys!
Thanks
-Silente

Well I'll be kicking things off!
My first recommendation/review:
Dungeon Defenders: Second wave
Overview-
Dungeon defenders is a mix between a tower defense fantasy game and a traditional 3d RPG. The main premise is that the kingdoms heroes have gone off to defeat some great evil and have left their kids to guard the castle. In each area/map there is an eternia crystal that you have to set up towers and traps and such to defend from the waves of monsters.
Gameplay-
Gameplay is mainly governed by one of four classes each with their own play styles and pros/cons.
The apprentice-
The long ranged, magic user who places down towers that shoot long range projectiles.
The apprentice is the easiest class to use and is by far the best for beginners as his towers are the easiest to start off with and his skills are easy to understand and use.
The huntress-
The long ranged, assassin class.
The huntress wields either a crossbow or gun that deals long ranged damage and places down traps that activate when stepped on by monsters. The huntress can be somewhat hard to use due to her slightly less straightforward traps.
The squire-
The close ranged tank.
The squire combines melee attacks with brutal close ranged towers to destroy enemies quickly up close.
The Knight has some of the best starter towers in the game but he is at somewhat of a disadvantage without teammates to back him up due to his only close range play style.
The monk-
The all around skillful class.
The monk combines the first three classes in a Jack of all trades sort of play style. He has a melee attack as well as a long ranged magic attack with towers that deal different affects when stepped on by enemies. He is definately the hardest class to play due to his lack of a prominent skill and towers that need some getting used to and upgrades to really learn how to use effectively.
So once you've chosen a class its time to jump into the game.
There's a helpful tutorial that you can jump into but its not a super complicated game at first. Each map is made up of different rounds. At the end of each round chests will appear with Mana in them, the currency you use to build towers and buy or upgrade things after the round has ended. You also get mana from killing the various mobs that spawn throughout the wave. You also earn xp that goes towards level ups that let you carry more mana and unlocks new towers for you to build. Also when you level up you can attribute skill points to different skills such as player or tower damage, health, speed etc etc. Monsters also drop random items which you can equip or sell in between rounds.
After the round is over you can buy and sell weapons and armor, and upgrade you currently have equipped. The sheer number of weapons and upgrades you can apply to them makes it easy to make sure no two are the same.
Multiplayer-
The multiplayer element of this game is WHERE ITS AT! This game really shines through and its super easy to jump into a match and start playing as long as you have a good internet connection (which at time of writing I didn't). All you need to do is sign up for a game spy account which while can sometimes be a hassle keeps the hackers and cheaters out and keeps the fun consistent. Once you've made that account you can quick join a game or open up a server browser to pick between maps, difficulties and game modes. Once you join its smooth sailing and the different classes are very well designed to overlap and coordinate together in the multi player game modes. If you can get several friends to get this you will have a great time indeed.
Controls-
There aren't too many options for the controls but overall they're not too bad. The way to move your character is to rotate the wheel-ish joystick in the left portion of the screen. That controls both movement and direction mind you so it might take a little bit to get used to but once you do its just fine. Its hard to describe exactly how to use it because I've never seen another control scheme like it. The buttons around the other edges of the screen control other movement controls such as jumping or attacking, as well as selecting what towers to build (actual placement is done through touch input) or what abilities to activate or spells to cast. The game defaults to having the actual movement touchpad being invisible but that seems really stupid so I recommend turning that off in the settings. So while not completely perfect the controls are definately usable and should be relatively easy to learn for most users.
Graphics/Performance on cm9-
The game has a graphics slider that allows you to go from HD crisp graphics to blurry pixelated retro goodness. On the highest graphics setting the screen tearing really sets in but on lower resolution on the slider you can get very good performance on cm9. Overall it performs quite well with no hw accel and it will only get better once we get full acceleration.
Verdict-
Overall this game offers up some great RPG game play mixed in with some tower defense elements and kick ass multi player. The controls are manageable and if you want to have some long term fun, (as you can go quite in depth) this is a great choice and for a free game it couldn't be a better deal. I'd recommend it to any Android gamer and its a great game.

Love the idea of this thread
I'd love to contribute but I've found that with cm9 I haven't been able to find most of my favorite games on the market
Yeah, that's a problem, although most of them would run. Try using Apk leecher on your PC and then side loading them. Might work, but I'm not sure if you can download paid apps even if you've bought them.

One thing that doesn't work is using three fingers to access the menu. I get around this by opening up the recent apps thing and closing it, which then pauses the game, opening the menu.
Also, swiping to slow down/speed up the game does not seem to work as well.
Draw Something, Angry bird's, Sonic CD and Plants vs Zombies work great
Unfortunately my favorites don't show up and I'd love to test them
Shadowgun, FIFA 12, Modern Combat 3, Asphalt 6, Riptide GP, and NOVA 2

Yeah, I've been considering getting sonic CD, are the controls any good? As that's kind of important in a sonic game.

I loved it beat it in one night lol
I find all games I've played so far worked well especially Cut the Rope experiments. My only complaint was that play store didn't work for me I don't know if that's a known problem but felt it should be mentioned. Though back on topic the games I've tried so far play smooth.
Can some one confirm list of Gameloft working on CM9?

With the default cm9 build.prop the gameloft games dont work. I'll try modifying mine to look like a Droid 3 (which worked fine for cm7) and get back to you on that. I'll also mention their performance too. If I get the chance to DL the big-ass game data.

For the device not conptable message, you can edit the build.prop, I w able to get it to work on cm7 by spoofing a droid3. Dunno about cm9 though.

Haven't changed my build.prop because no one has said it is OK to do so as of yet nor what i would change. I like the play store recognizing the nook as a tablet as well
You know... it's funny. Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, mupen64plus emulator, ran with amazing speed in CM7. However the video and colors were kinda bad. Like buttons just looked weird, and sometimes there would be random squares.
HOWEVER. On CM9, the video and graphics are superlative. However, it lags obviously. Not TOO much... I mean it's definitely playable, but if you are fighting Gannondorf it's kind of annoying. Hopefully rebellos will get this kind of thing working for us.
