Is there any way of getting a free Android developers account

Hi is there any way to get a free developer's account for the Android Market? Or will someone be willing to let me use theirs or buy one for me in exchange for a favour? I am only 16 and my family have no credit cards, and I haven't seen an option for bank accounts on our bank. I have also tried to contact Google but they completely ignored my emails.
PS I'm only going to host free apps.
Thank you and as for favours, if anyone needs any Android hacks or general help for Android, PSP or PC I'll help them.
Cheers
I want that question answered aswell!
I don't like the idea of binding my bank account to a google service.
I have some apps that I want to upload, I think I might upload them to XDA instead, later today.

[Q] Google Play Merchant account and developer privacy

Hi
I'm developing an application and wondering about putting it on the Google Play store, more out of interest to see if I can make a little bit of cash, I'm not expecting riches, but some cash flow would help serve to encourage me to do more Android development.
On going through the registration I need to set up a Google Merchant account, no problems with that, however I need to provide a public business address and website address, and like I suspect is the case with the vast majority of app developers with it being more a hobby from a back bedroom, I don't have a business address or business website, so it will default to my home address. The terms also suggest that if I don't supply a URL my account might be suspended.
I'm also a little nervous about about my home address in case it is made public, and wondering if it is worth going to trouble of getting a domain name for the URL.
What have other people done? I notice some paid apps have a broken website URL, and I can't recall making a purchase on the Play store where I have seen the developers or business address displayed to me.
Any info gratefully received.
Regards
Phil

A hosted website with a custom domain costs nothing nowdays. You'll need it anyway for marketing, etc.

Bump. I'm in a similar situation. Wondering what you did about the address? I don't want to give people my home address just because they buy my app.
For the domain I just created a weebly website for free. Super easy and it doesn't have to be high quality. How many people actuality visit your website?
I have my home address. When I start my company that's where I will be based from anyway.

I am in the same situation, a private person releasing an paid app. The deal with the public adress just got to me.
I read somewhere about a guy who entered fake information as the "public" adress, this isn't appealing to me though.
If i buy an apple at the local supermarket it's not like the name and homeadress of the apple grocist is on the store recipe.
Is there any way around this since I'm not really that keen on showing my home adress public..
Or is it "just" the other way around? That I can see the users information but the user cannot actually see the developers information..?
Just give them something.
Just give them any address. It's no big deal. give them the address of a highway rest area. As for the website, you'll make more money than it costs you per year to own a domain just by having a domain. Just use a blogger website etc.. and then hook it up with a domain. Just having the website to support your game/app whatever is very important. :fingers-crossed:

Register Google Merchant Account from supported country for other developers, get %s

Hi, I am interested have anyone tried such deals? Is there any experienced users/developers?
The point is, that I can't register merchant account from my country and it means that I can't sell anything in google play. PayPal can't receive money in my country also. So I am currently using admob in my application which gives me less than 1$ for month
Many users writed in their reviews, that they want to donate money and support me, but there is no easy ways for that. For example many developers using strategy of selling "donated" apps on google play. So I think, that someone can register merchant account in supported country with his address and credit card, then attach it to my developer account. If there will be some money, then for example 10% of revenue will keep that user, and 90% will send to me via bank transfer for example.
Is there any experience related to this?
And have anyone tried to attach other user's merchant account to his own developer account?
Also we can create some community for this with users/developers from supported countries and developers from unsupported countries.
Interesting. I'm sure this would work if you could find the right person to work with. Though, have you tried using a proxy to create a developer account? (So, that Google servers would think you were in a different country).
You say PayPal can't receive money in your country, but I believe AdMob can deposit funds directly to a bank account (this is how I have it set up). Or, there are many other ad networks out there with possibly even more payment options.
I have a few developer accounts for when I was working at different places. And, as an experiment, I was able to create one of them with a Visa gift card to pay the $25 fee. The merchant account is still tied to the developer account via the email address used, but in the merchant account settings it is possible to add account access and change bank information.
Well, I think Payscout.com is the best alternative payment gateway for your business. They offer free account setup services to merchant.

Can I share my Google account with other devices/people ?

Whats up guys?
I have two Google accounts that I use on my tablet. A primary one that I use for Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, etc.... and another one that I use for the sole purpose of purchasing apps. This happened due to limitations in my country so I made this other account with US data so I can buy apps with it.
This other account doesn't have any noteworthy data about me. I don't sync anything to it except apps.
So my question is. Can I share that account with other friends/family? so they can take advantages of some of the apps i purchased? Keep in mind that nobody can really purchase anything for themselves in my country (Egypt) and I went through hoops to get that one working and credit added to it, so I'm thinking about sharing this account with one or two people.
So can I do that? and if I did. Is there anything wrong with it? Are there any risks involved?
Thanks in advance and sorry if I posted this on the wrong forum.
According to Apple, the Apple ID can be associated with a maximum of 10 devices, I have read somewhere, that it was the same with Google. I have seen the same Google account used on 3-4 devices without any problem. If you want to share your account with 3 more people or devices, I would say go ahead. But if the number of people or devices exceeds more than that, then I would suggest to contact Google and ask them the upper usage limit of a single account on different devices.
The first thing that came to my mind, was to be careful and not syncing your data with that account (even by mistake).
Also.. make sure you trust them, I think this is obvious

Developing a chatting app with a bitcoin wallet

Hello guys,
I have to choose a project to do for my final year in university.
Im thinking of making a chat application, just like whatsapp and BBM. But I will add to it a bitcoin wallet (I think I have to make the wallet too).
Any user of the chat application can send bitcoin to anyuser in his chat list or friend list.
Do you think it's possible guys ?
And will I find enough tutorials out there to help me out ?
Please help me. It is the last day to submit my idea.
Thanks in advance
