Perhaps someone give me a tip what I am doing wrong.
I use oskitchen for my leo to cook. I found some cht 1.8x extv packages here in the forum and updated the files to cht 2.0.
Imported package in oskitchen, set priority to all normal manila packages ofer the cht 2 package, but when flash rom it boots, but with normal minala without cht and no way to enable it.

There are many roms with cht 2.00 cooked in I'd say the best one so far is this

I found this information;
Remember to cook CHT 2.0 after your default Manila EXT packages.
In osKitchen you can set "Install this package prior to the packages in the list below" property. So if you add CHT to this list for every Manila package, you're done!

I made this ROM by the dump part01.raw, part02.raw and a WWE baseROM. We can't get the stock CHT ROM yet.

I have raw files of Taiwan Version. If you have flashed cooked ROM and forgot to backup the original raw files, the only way to get HK ROM is wait for HTC to leak or release new ROMs. Or somebody can get the test version or ship version from HTC.
Maybe you can ask if any one has a HK version on hand and is willing to backup the raw files for you.
I released this new version of Raphael_Tai_Chi_V1.7_CHT on May 31.
Please give it a try if intereted in it.

As I promised, I'm now going to release the O2 version of the ROM for Atom Life. The OS version of this ROM is 5.2.1616 (Build 19974.1.2.8). The XIP is taken out from Xda Atom Life WM6 WWE_RC2140907B2 and the SYS is dumped out directly from the latest ROM of HTC Touch 3G.
Here is a little bit of information of this ROM:
- Windows Media Player 10 Mobile for Pocket PC Version 10.3 Build 19974
- Esmertec Jbed 20080610.2.1
- Adobe Reader LE 2.5.1.0.354273.01(from HTC Touch Viva's ROM).
- The wince.nls is replaced with the one from the official ENG V2.05.96 ROM for MWg Atom V.
Known issues(Haven't been solved):
- The camera and O2 AutoInstaller may not work. Maybe it is related to different ExtROM.
- The server of O2 for O2 Connect has closed, therefore the O2 Connect is just a rubbish... But I haven't removed it yet.
- No time zone and clock settings after aligning screen after hard-reset.
- The default setting of Beam is "disable".
I just mixed the resources together and did some little fixings, So it may still have some unknown issues. Please report to me if this ROM have any problem.
Remember, I'm still only a beginning-level cook. Please don't just leave swearing posts if there is something wrong... Thanks.

I dunno, as I didn't use TranMinhMan's latest ROM. The only thing I can tell is, this ROM is as stable as the official ROMs...

Well, from my experience, the stability of the official ROM isn't a big deal. And moreover, their TCP/IP stack is really poor. In the newer OS versions, e. g. those in ROMs by T2M, it is much better.

but there is around 18M free memory after startup and the camera did not work. how can I use the camera?

I wanna confirm if it is the problem of the ExtROM... Maybe it is a kind of conflict.

I agree that the SMS Delivery Report Notification is very useful, but I just wanna keep my ROMs "cleaned"... So I wouldn't add this program into my ROM. But I'll release my kitchen soon so that you can add that into your ROMs yourself.

For the noobies and all that want to cook their own WM 6.5 ROMs, I have created 2 working kitchens, based on the AT&T 2.31 and Telstra 2.31 official ROMs.
For the kitchen, I used Ervius Visual Bebe Kitchen 1.6.
The AT&T ROM is
CE OS 5.2.21849 (Build 21849.5.0.63)
ROM version 2.31.502.4 (66023) WWE
The Telstra ROM is
CE OS 5.2.21849 (Build 21849.5.0.63)
ROM version 2.31.841.6 (64646) WWE
I tested both ROMs just for booting on the Topaz, nothing more.
Be aware that you will need HardSPL 1.83 to get this ROMs running!
You can find the kitchens on BeeGee's Topaz File Mirror
and on MegaUpload AT&T, Rapidshare ATT and Rapidshare Telstra.
Before anybody gets angry, here are my sources: m.carroll for the AT&T ROM and 911sniper for the Telstra ROM.

The files (only AT&T tested) also work in Visual Kitchen 1.8.1 and 1.8.2 so there is no need to downgrade to build your rom's with older kitchen's

I got it only running on Visual Kitchen 1.6 with platformrebuilder.exe enabled

It's not a miracle
I downloaded ervius Visual Kitchen 1.8.1 und exract it on my local harddisk.
Then I copy the rom folders from your ATT Dump (EXT, OEM, ROM and SYS) to the directory where I extracted my kitchen.
Thats all.
Also with the new exe of VK (1.8.2) no errors, or strange behaviour.
Today I played a little bit with reducing the ATT Rom. Every build I create works just fine without any complications.
At the moment I build different Versions with XIP/SYS 23060 and later I will try to get Manila 2.5 working.
EDIT: I work which the latest HSPL and Radio version for my Topaz on an Windows 7 Build 7600 OS

Hi BeeGee,
I know this is an old thread but I've had no luck finding the Telstra My Place CAB from the Win 6.5 ROM.
I'm very happy with my cooked ROM but having recently switched to Telstra I'm keen to get the My Place application. Your kitchen doesn't seem available anymore but I was hoping the CAB file might be in there.
Is it on your file share anymore?

I think !Aman! cooked such a ROM already. Let me search my last years archive.
Tess2f ? it is good ROM indeed but it is not with sense 2.1 it is with older manila without weather clock....most probably the best wm 6.1 ever for topaz....it would be very interesting to have kitchen and decide what to cook in.....thanks anyway

WM 6.1 build 21054 with 1.75 OEM drivers and Manila 2.1.19193517
Once its working, I publish it, as usual with the kitchen.

I read many posts about this, but i aint able(after 3 hardresets) to enable landscape mode on my HD2.
I want the Manila like on my Xperia X1 with a custom rom(Thank to the cooks, i love ya . When i pull out the keyboard every tab was in landscape.
The HD2 should do it when i turn the phone into landscape mode.

i think your manila version does not support landscape... you may need to upgrade.

If You want, check my *.cab for my ROM PLK (Manila 2.5.20181527) with landscape dialer. ROM base 3.14 with Menu start on top (build 21916). After install You must soft reset.
upgrade to the new 3.14 rom , install bsb tweaks,enable landscape mode and install this cab.to device.........enjoy

i have a tg01 with the official wm6.1 rom with the 3d stripe menu just wondering is there anyway some 1 can like borrow this for a few days and somehow get the rom out of it so we all have the original wm6.1 rom to have? because i have noiced no 1 has the original rom and just a cooked wm6.1

Ooo, thanks! many people have tried that ROM. its great! I never knew it was based on the original 21057 build. But there are no apps such as the Toshiba 3D menu which had more features on 6.1 than 6.5.

im no tech wizard i just thort there may be a way of extracting the original official wm6.1 firmware so say when people upgrade to wm6.5 or whatever they can also downgrade back to wm6.1 not a cooked version but the official version with 3d stripes

yes it works, AND yes is really the "Good old" 3D! StrippeMenu. i willrebuild my cab!
