Help with Device Lock with Lobster 700TV

Hope i have posted this in the right place.
Took delivery of the lobster 700tv mobile.
Normally when the keypad is locked you simply press the unlock button to unlock it and use it.
This phone has a security feature called device lock with which i have problems with. By following the instructions in the manual i had set the device lock so when you press the unlock button you have to type in the password. This prevents anyone from using your phone without your permission. The trouble is it does not recognise my password. Has anyone had this problem? Have rang virgin who are going to send me a replacement. just wondering if it is a common problem before i try to set it on the replacement phone. Also how does one unlock it? The customer service did not know how to do it.

Cyberon Voice dial through Screen lock

Hello,
I have an AT&T 8525 phone with WM6 on it. I have installed the Cyberon Voice Speed Dial application, and have great luck with it. I also used the registry hack to configure the PTT button to invoke SDDialer.exe, which is very good. I just hit the PTT button, speak a name, and dial the person.
My company exchange server has a policy set which forces a PIN lock of the device every 15 minutes. I then have to enter a 4-digit PIN to unlock the device in order to call. This, unfortunately, also prevents the SDDialer app from starting when the phone is screen locked.
Is there a workaround where I can enable the PTT button invoke while the phone is locked? I searched, but could not find any solution, so opening a new thread. Sorry if I missed a thread if this is already discussed (the search displayed a ton of result, and I believe I read most of the threads regarding this).
Thanks,
Walletless
Is this not possible with WM?
Thanks

Generally, locked is locked - that's the purpose: to keep ppl from using the phone. If that wasn't the case, the PIN lock would be pretty useless.

thanks down8.. it is wierd though.. this only seems to happen with the PTT button... if I configure the camera button to open cyberon, I can invoke it from locked screen.. makes me think there is some registry setting that I am missing for PTT... I checked HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Shell/Keys, and could not see anything different.

htc hero doesn't request the 8 digit SIM unlock code

Hi guys, after i purchased a code for my htc hero, and i inserted the foreign key, but there was nothing poping up to notify me to enter the 8 digit network unlocking,
i tried around 8 different custom roms but all are the same ..
what should i do to get the unlock code screen ?
thanks in advance
Not too sure if i understand your question correctly or not, but if its the code to unlock it to "another or all" networks, on the default stock sense ROM when it shows you the screen saying "no service" you slide either the top down or the bottom up to be presented with the keypad to unlock the device to which ever network you bought an unlock code for. Pretty sure it would be the same for other ROMS
Hope that made sense and i understood the question right
Well, when i start up the phone it shows " No service or Emergency Calls" and it allows me to drag it down only to be able to use the phone normally, but my question was : when i insert a foreign simcard ,the phone must prompt me to unlock the specific network with the code you purchased that contains 8 digits.
my problem is i don't get this prompt screen never!

Do you mean that when you turn the phone on you get the 'enter pin' message before you can use the phone. After you enter your pin do you find that you have no network service so you can't make phone calls or send texts? If so you also probably have an icon in the top right of the statusbar that looks like a sim card with an exclamation mark (!) in it. I too have this problem. My only solution is to remove the sim protection so now I don't get the 'enter pin' message when I turn the phone on. Obviously this is not good if I lose my phone.
Thank You, but today I gave the phone to warranty.. :-/ If they don't solve the problem, I will try Your method. Thank You so much! If I get back my phone, I will write in this topic everything about it.
[SOLVED] SIM card lock - no service (SIM icon with exclamation mark)
I have found the cause of my "No service" problem. It shows a SIM icon with an exclamation mark in it on the status bar.
I used to have a PIN code set under Settings-->Location & security-->Set up SIM card lock-->Lock SIM card. However, when I got this "No service" problem I had to remove the SIM card lock to actually be able to use my phone to make phone calls.
The problem was that I also had set Settings-->CyanogenMod settings-->Tablet tweaks-->Disable lockscreen-->TICKED. I had set this because I wanted my phone's screen to turn back on quickly by simply pressing the back button instead of using the lockscreen slider.
It seems that disabling the lockscreen prevents the "Enter PIN code" screen from being displayed and so I could not enter my PIN.
As well as having to do Settings-->CyanogenMod settings-->Tablet tweaks-->Disable lockscreen-->UNTICKED it is also necessary to turn the screen off then back on (e.g. press the power button to turn off then the back button to turn on). When the screen turns on the "Enter PIN code" screen will appear.
I think should be classed as a bug but I am not sure on what?

LG G2's unlock network menu won't appear! Help!

Well, I searched for this issue with LG G2 and did not find anything that could help me.
To make it fast, when changing the sim to another from another carrier, the window asking for a code won't pop up....
There's another way in wich you introduce a number on the dial screen and a menu pops up... that won't work either....
Nor the two methods where you dial some numbers and it asks you for the code... so...
Do I have to go back to stock??
I am running on CloudyPro 2.1
Thank you.
