I have installed the Nordic 2.1 and I am trying to clean everthing off the phone so that I can give it to my girlfriend. I read online I need to do the following steps:
1.From the main home screen, tap menu
2.Tap Settings, then SD card & phone storage
3.Tap Factory data reset
4.Tap Reset phone
5.Enter your password, then tap Erase everything to confirm
however, I don't have the Factory data reset selection in that menu... is this a problem with the nordic rom? how I factory reset my phone now?

Its in the "privacy" setting not "sd card" settings in 2.1

I have a problem, after I finish installing KPN 2.3.3, the phone start and everything seems to be fine, however when I try to unlock the mobile and start working with it, an error appear as follow:

I can't go past the error message. The below behavior is all that I get.
When I force close the message, it appears again.
When click the home button, nothing happens.
When I short click the power button, the phone locks.
When I long click the power button, the power menu appears.
I browsed through the XDA site and it was said that I need to flash with base image from an old release. I tried all the following:
S5830JPKA7
S5830JPKC2_OJPKC1_JXKC1
S5830XXKC1
S5830XXKP8
They all work correctly, but when I go back to KPN again, the same error happens again.
I tried a different KPN download, thinking that the image I'm using is faulty, but the same error appeared.
Please help?
if u still using default recovery, go into it and do a wipe/factory reset. if u already had cwm, do wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition.
You know what? that actually solved the problem
I now have KPN installed and running.

Hi guys,
My new I9300 is a UK O2 locked phone.
After I got it , I did flash several famous ROMs, like Android Revolution HD, Omega, WanamLite and etc.
THEN, weird thing happened! At the end of ALL ROM's first boots, 4 apps were re-installed automatically, they are Music(Official Top 40), Amazon MP3, eBay and O2 Space.
I tried tons of ways to erase this, like full wipe date/cache/system...., I even use ARHD's Super Wipe to do so. However, nothing changed, they still appeared there
I can't find where are they and why does this happen.
Can you guys help me?

You need to Hard Reset your phone before and after flashing any ROM.
So in your case just do a hard reset now and will get rid of the o2 apps.
Hard Reset:
-Turn off your phone
-Press and HOLD Volume UP and Home button and press Power button while holding the other two.
-Wait till you will see the Android logo and release all buttons.
-Wipe data and Factory reset using the volume buttons and the power button( as Select )
-After you wipe data and factory reset , just press power button and phone will reboot.
And with this you will get rid of the o2 apps.

I can not do the factory restart on LG Watch W100. I can not get to the settings menu. The watches are running all the time and showing me what I can do with them but when I am trying to reach the menu through ok google command - when I see the red button in the right corner I can not go to settings. I want to do the factory reset because I can not pair the watches with mobile device.
Do you have any idea what to do?

In the settings choose "unpaired from phone". Then it will ask you to confirm factory reset.
Hello and thanks for trying to help me i have a Vodafone Smart ultra 6 and when i try to switch the wifi switch to "On" absolutetly nothing happens and if i go back to menu and select wifi menu again the switch is back to off,i already reset it by entering recovery menu and i did factory reset+wipe cache and i already upgraded it with a zip file i copied from zte site to card,still no go i also opened it and it was a single RF cable and it was conected but i reconected anyway still no go.....(sry for bad english)
