[Q] MobileAP Experience W/ Flashable Stock JK6 - Froyo 2.2 - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I decided to to flash my vibrant w/ the Flashable Stock JK6 - Froyo 2.2 Rom posted in the dev sec. My stock 2.1 rom w/root i would on the norm get any wheres from 675Kbps to 750+Kbps. With this new rom i am not even getting 100Kbps any suggestions, can anyone else suggest a better rom for mobileap speed?

I'm seeing 3.5Mb/s down and about 600Kb/s up through the mobile app on JK6. Maybe it's just the area you're in?

Need tether!

Im in need of a stock Vibrant rom that is J16 and has wifi android tether. Anyone can point me in the right direction, please! Want to get tethering for my Ipad, can root my Vibrant, but want to retain J16 for the GPS fix.
Thansk
You can go here to get MobileAP for JI6:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=756804
Be sure to get the right version: signed-mobileap.vibrant-T959UVJI6.v2.zip
This can be flashed with Clockwork recovery on top of your existing ROM.. there's no need to get a new ROM if you're happy with JI6. This works perfectly for tethering iPad because it works in infrastructure mode.
However, most Froyo ROMs have the MobileAP built in, including the new JL4 leaked "stock" Froyo ROM available in the developer forum. I'm running this now and I highly recommend this upgrade if you prefer the stock experience.. you just have to flash the ROM through ODIN. GPS performance seems fine here as well.

[Q] Kernel Confusion

With all the 2.2.1 roms and porting of I9000 roms and multiiple versions of the different kernels being posted over the last few days I'm more than a bit confused.
Bionix Frost (2.2.1) originally needed (SDCard Fix) version of one of three kernels. now I don't know as it says all kernels supported.
Darkys 9.3 Vibrant Edition (2.2.1) comes with a standard 2.2 kernel. I'm using this with the old Dead Horse #53 and all is fine. Is there no need for Dead Horse 2.2.1? Wil Dead Horse 2.2.1 work?
Simply Galaxy/Sweet Honey (2.2.1) comes with Dead Horse 2.2.1 #73. Is this needed or can any 2.2 kernel work? or is SDCard mounting bad?
Stock JS5 (2.2.1) comes with stock 2.2 kernel.
Eugene's Dead Horse 2.2 2.2.1 kernel for I9000. Is this only needed for TRUE I9000 roms?
Eugene's reboot fix (services.jar). Is this only needed for TRUE I9000 roms?
All the above 2.2.1 roms. Do I need to use a I9000 theme or can I use a I9000 theme? Will it break the services.jar or something else?
Same questions about Vibrant 2.2 themes.
BTW, yes I read all th OP's.
Thanks

most recent official ROM?

I decided to go back to official stock rom...or something close; like debloated version of the official rom
Even though I greatly appreciate the works of all the XDA developers, battery life was not stable for my daily needs; the best I got was maximum of 6 hours with SC2.9.2 + jt's EC10 kernel + EA28 radio.
So which is the most official ROM update from Verizon? such as DI01 or DI09...and DJ05? or which stock or debloated stock is the best possible? eclair only.
and would custom kernels drain battery if I have stock rom running? I want to keep EC10 kernel if possible.
The most recent official ROM is EA28, and that was preceded by DL09

[Q] Vibrant ROMS

Hey, I just got my 2.2 Vibrant rooted via SuperOneClick and I'm ready to try a custom ROM. Spent a lot of time reading and it seems Team Whiskeys Bionix V. My question is whats the difference or which one is better between Bionix-V 1.3.1 Gingerbread Edition and Bionix-V 1.3.1 TouchWiz Edition? Is Stock KA7 Kernel with Voodoo a good combo for em? And how do I flash the rom and the kernel?

[Q] Trigger 2.9.4 and Trigger 3.2

So I'm switching back to a Froyo ROM because school's starting soon. My current plan is to do the trigger ROM with the Overstock kernel. I read the OP for trigger 3.2 and 2.9.4 (and re-read it, thank you very much and I can't see what the differences are. They're both froyo roms. Is 3.2 just a recompile? And what's KB5 and KB1 mean? Doesn't it have something to do with the base firmware? Lastly, what's the difference between 3.2_final and 3.2_final_wmfix on the trigger download page? (http://sourceforge.net/projects/trigger-rom/files/) Please excuse my noobishness.... I tried a gingerbread rom and pretty much broke my phone (crashed a lot, almost every app force closed) . I just want to get it stable and battery efficient. Any help?
EDIT: SOLVED!
