Where can I find the kernel .config file for x10 mini (android 2.1)?
Its not in /proc/config.gz
Maybe someone can post the one from 1.6?
Please someone with 1.6 could run:
adb pull /proc/config.gz
and post the file?
Thanks.
Is it too late?

There are no custom kernels but there are insecure kernels.. Download any JB based custom rom..
You have been zooo==>ted
Just use CF-Root and ODIN. You don't need an insecure kernel anymore, it's different from the S II days.

Are you compiling the kernel? If not you cannot do it.
If you are compiling, then I would hope you know as much on where to change the name. Hint, its in a deconfig file.

# Edit this to change the kernel name
KBUILD_BUILD_VERSION="Kettle.Corn-1.0-NO-OC"
export KBUILD_BUILD_VERSION
i use this is my kernel scripts to name my kernels
Questions should be asked in Q&A forums, not Development forums.
Thread moved.
is there another way yet?
Hey guys
Do you know where to put the prebuilt kernel and does it needs to be an zip file or an boot.img file?
Thanks!
