Dear pals,
I have this issue of i am unable to log in and syn my HD2 with Microsoft MYphone website.
I follow the instructions to remove and re-install the program but it hang at the step 4 of the whole installation. Soon after i realised that my marketplace is unable to log in too.
I need to back my HD2 stuff before i do a hard reset thus will like to seek your kind advice.

I've had the same problem with MyPhone. I just checked it now and it looks like my phone hasn't had a successful sync since late Octorber. All I get is an error message saying my Windows Live ID / Password might be wrong.
I tried to stop the service and change my login credentials but neither option works giving me the same error.

Subject tells it all. I have MDA2 with 2003SE (2.06WWE) and when trying to add new messaging account wizard hangs to 4/5 screen where you have to choose account type and give a name for it. I can go back and cancel the wizard but next doesn't to anything. This hasn't happened before, but I haven't tried to create new account after I reinstalled 2003SE. I tried WM2005 but it isn't my "thing" jet...
Anyone else had problems with account wizard and smaybe solved it? :shock:

I have successfully upgraded to wm6. Or so I thought.
A pushserviceerror appears while starting the device. Thats no biggy, but I cant add any outlook contacts, nor can I sync them with my ones on the my vaio.
I used Charmer_Touch_GER_Beta_2.8 to upgrade.
Everything else is working fine.
Can anyone please help me?

If you have a working window, just go to Setting->System->Clear Storage
push camera & voice button and soft reset button togehter...
after hard resetting, don't interrupt the following automatic setup of the phone...
( if you do, the porblem with the outlook contact liste will still be there... )

I got a problem when synching to my computer. I install activesynch 4.5 on windows XP and then i connect my usb wire to my pc to my MDA vario 4.
Problem is, the phone gets recognized by my pc and I can open the folders. But I am logged in the active sync as guest. I googled for this problem, but everywhere it says I should get a wizard when I connect to the sync program for the first time, but with me it does not :S.
I have tried reinstalling, but no success either.
Can someone assist me with this matter? I would really like to try a new ROM

Are you sure u don't get the wizard?? Sometimes you have to Ctrl+Esc so it can pop up back to the front

Every time I have had issues with Active sync, I would just go download it again reinstall it, I wouldn't even bother uninstalling it and it would always mysteriously work...

Did you try to configure active sync on you phone?!
One time it didn't want to sync yet, then i did a hard reset and all works like a charm... Maybe you installed smething bad like i did...
You can create a backup with Sprite Backup http://www.htc.com/fr/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=133&cat=3&dl_id=19
It creates a backup of everything you want, even settings and messages and make an executable that you can launch after hard resetting

For some reason, I cannot sign into MarketPlace. The app starts up fine, but comes up with an error message when i try to sign into using my windows ID. I've tried removing the app are downloading it again, and I've even deleted some 'Market Place' files in the file explorer but this doesn't work. I know my windows live ID and password are correct! Please help... i don't want to have to hard reset just for this!

Check out if you have the correct date on your Phones.
That's strange...I also had problems logging into Microsoft my Phone, but I solved it by reinstalling it from O Market. The date and time are correct on my phone and I still can't log into Marketplace. It's very strange!

I have strange problem with my phone - I'm unable to log in to YouTube, MyPhone and MarketPlace. Hard reset was not solving the issue, so I've downloaded new Vodafone UK rom from HTC site. My old one was 1.72, new one is 3.14. With YT it just goes back to log screen, Market and Myphone are giving me "unable to connect" or "download was unsuccessful" message. My internet connection works fine, I can browse sites and even watch movies via build in YT aplication. Tried multiple resets and still the same?
Right, bit more info what I've done. maybe that will throw some light on possible cause of my problem.
I've installed my mobiler and connected phone via Activesync
1st mistake - I did not read what it actually says on screen and unticked all positions on program list (thought this is the list of software that will be installed on my phone)
As you can imagine Activesync started removing all programs from my phone.
2nd mistake - trying to save my phone I quickly disconnected cable.
Some software had been already deleted, including sms patch
then I decided to restore my phone to earlier state using SPB backup
when fnished, I found out, than Sense wouldn't start
So, i decided to do hard reset
after this step I found out, that I was now unable to log into youtube, myphone and marketplace. i can access them from PC level, so I have not forgotten my passwords. Also I can browse internet fine, so it's not my network operator.
Question: is it possible, that SPB somehow damaged rom files?
Thinking that this may be the case I've decided to download fresh rom from HTC site. But after install issue remains
