[PROBLEM] keyboard is not active with HTC Task Manager

Hi all,
I installed the Pro Version of Win6.1, which is great.
I tried to find a task manager, so I install HTC Task Manager.
It asked me to reboot.
Now, it seems that the keyboard is not working at all. I can't even enter my password.
Do you have any idea how I can deactivate this without keyboard.
Thanks and best regards,
F
Which task manager are you using. Im using the 1.51 from the Goodies thread. On a Pro V2 rom. If you downloaded a newer version I had problems with it locking up my phone and stuff but never a keyboard issue.

[SOLVED] Keyboard gone after rooting :(

Ok, as the rooting thread is getting overwhelmed with users not being able to find their correct deviceID, not being able to put java in their %path% or just having problems due to a 64bit version of java or whatever else could go wrong
All other valid questions are getting snowed in their so I thought i might be better to get a new thread to make sure it will get answered
After having my x10 succesfully rooted I no longer have my keyboard on any field, I also tried with long pressing the menu button (which normally would show or hide the keyboard) but with no success . Anybody have a clue how I can get my keyboard back again?
I did enable the HTC_IME btw in the language settings.
I had the same problem, just installed older version, v25 i think, and it works..
Hmmmm for some weird reason it just appeared lol.... I had opened up google search but didn't close as I wasn't getting the keyboard but just had put the phone down for a while as I needed to do some other stuff. When I got back the phone was showing the HTC keyboard and it now opens very quickly every time I go into a field or it at least responds on my long pressing the menu button while I'm in a field
Just install the HTC-IME again

in case it wasn't installed correctly you can also find it in your step4 apps folder from the root package, it's called com.htc.clicker.apk. Copy it to your SD and mount the sd back on the phone and install it from there.
Also make sure HTC_IME is selected in your country settings and text.
Thank you guys, found it in google and installed it. Keyboard is fine.

First of all way to open a thread fore this question if you can ask it at the Artemis thread self.
Secondly Artemis ROM are WM 6.5.5 ROM versions! this means that the task-manager Icon is removed and there is a clock now.
Pressing long at the clock closed the open application.
short press at the clock opens task-manager. (X2 Task-Manager)
I'm sorry, I didn't now there was a thread about artemis rom. However the problem is that when i have installed the rom the task manager worked, but now when I click on the clock it does open nothing. And when I push the home button of the phone while I'm using opera, for example, the program closes. I have to restart the program if I start it from the start menu.

[Q] How to Zipalign for NOOB

Ive created some Live wallpapers with a paid for program. When I go to upload to Google play it says I should zipalign the apk.
Ive searched numerous posts and videos and have not found anything to work for me. Ive tried SDK / Eclipse and have no clue what the hell im doing. In Eclipse when I went to edit the apk file, the text was all in some kind of binary code.
Can someone please point me in the right direction how to zipalign and sign the apk? The easiest NOOB way preferably.
Try this
Hi!There's an app called Rom Toolbox Pro.It has a section called app manager.Move to the all apps tab, and select all your apps(in the upper right corner you have an option for that). Then
a menu will appear at the bottom of the screen.Swipe from right to left(or left to right) till you see the Zipalign option. Then select it.It worked just fine on my P500.Didn't try it on my GTab 10.1 because my rom is already zipaligned.Did it via Scripter and got lots of FCs, probably because it was already zipaligned.Hope this helps!
Android Kitchen
There is an easier way.

I do not see how using the Android Kitchen is an easier way than navigating with ROM Toolbox Pro, especially if you are looking to accomplish this task while using your phone, but to each's own.

I dont know how to check ROM, I have attached a pic of about my device.
That an odex ROM ? I think so. Alliance ROM or neat ROM would be a good start for you to look. Adding multi window is OK but check out these roms. A lot of work gone into making these and I think you will like them.

I get that your multiwindow is not working as expected but is it affecting your normal access to the phone? if not, then why do you have to uninstall it?
I am on a customized Kitkat ROM which supports multiwindows(i did not install any app for it, this feature was part of the ROM). If I have to use multiple windows then we have to follow below steps -
1. Open App 1.
2. Press Home screen.
3. Open App 2
4 Press Home screen
5 Long press Home screen to show recent apps.
6. Long press App 1 in recent apps section, it will open a menu to add it to multiwindow. Same can be done for App 2.
Well, thats the process on the ROM I use. I found the same thing on Mokee ROM also, which is again very famous for multiwindow feature.
Try it, it might work.

Yes its affecting on normal process like when I copy sometext its its show no valid data.. also when I clear all clipboard its gone hang and restart in display setting when I choose homepage as easy mode or basic mode setting unfortunately closed and in notification pannel sync shortcuts has been replaced as multiwindow shortcut.
I tried your method.. when I long press on apps in recent section there are only two options
1. Remove from list and 2. App info
I didn't find to add multiple window.
Remove the mod you flashed by reflashing the rom. Either flash through a custom recovery and custom rom or flash a stock rom with Odin or even mobile Odin. Just remember custom rom is a zip file to be flashed through recovery. A tar file is to be flashed through Odin. What you must do is read before you brick you're phone. Removing a mod is basic stuff.
