Check the Market for updates for your downloaded apps. It should be under the Downloads tab.

And if I want to check for android versions updates?
Because the LG Optimus One don't have the option "Check for updates" in the "About Phone Menu".
I'm not sure about that but the LG PC suite said that my phone was up to date... Maybe someone else can help.
yep.. its possible to check for android updates... and you can do this..
by starting up the "update notification" app in the main apps menu ..
However, its pointless to check as the optimus one has no updates yet..
My optimus one (is a middle-east model called p503) has v10_c or something.. and

I also looked into the lg official china site and it says Flash is indeed supported, but I havent downloaded and flashed my P500.

also, i'm not sure if the P503 and P500 are identical in terms of cpu, etc but i did notice that the P503 has an external slot to put in the micro sd (lower left side of the phone).
Hi .. Iam tired from searching for solution for me .. I have Lg P503 and it does not have market .. and I want to ask is Lg P500 roms and recovery works for Lg P503 .. and what is the easiest way to root it plz help me ..
They're the same model for different countries. P500, P503, P509 are all the same phones with different firmware/operator ROM
The easiest way to root is to use an app called z4root, but it is only compatiable with certain software version, so make sure you check before you use it.
Making the P503 more "English"
I have used the z4root tool on my P503 Chinese and it worked fine in Permanent mode. You can also Un-root after if you want.
I have attempted to install a number of P500 systems onto the device and each one fails. The device re-starts after the update you get LG screen ... then LG slash of Colour screen ... then the Android logo for about 20 seconds and it then freezes.
Good thing is though you can install the P503 file back ontop and the device returns to it out of the box settings and functionality.
As for the UK Android Market ... I am working on that one ... at the moment the only thing that seems to work is the factory installed Go Market in Chinese.
z4root does not work for me i cant even install it .. the same apk I installed it on htc hero .. and for examble if I tried to flash DarkMoon v02 rom it will not break me device .. and how can I do install the P503 file back ontop ?? .. sorry for my Q .. but I need the market and thank you for repley ..
Hey guys.I would like to install another software version, or update to jellybean.Anyway the main ideea is that i want to completely wipe the phone and install another software version, or if you guys have an idea where i might find a good tutorial with all the files and install jellybean, it would be even better.But at least point me in the right direction to flash my optimus p705.Thanks!

Hi. I have a Samsung Tab p500 from Sprint and would like to upgrade it from 4.1.2 to 4.4.2 or higher if possible.
when I go to system update and press update Samsung software or firmware, it tells me there is no update available, so I guess I have to do it manually.
please let me know how this can be done. I am sure there is a thread somewhere on here that explains it.

Please search before opening a new thread.
Check Samsung site to see if they issued an update for that device. Also check the sprint site as all updates will go through them.
There may not be any updates for that tab
hi. I did search...but I am not exactly sure what I am looking for.
I went to the Samsung website for the product and there is nothing there that mentioned upgrading to 4.4.2. does this mean I can't upgrade the tab to that model, even with a custom rom maybe? if that is the case, and I were to do a manual upgrade of the android, would it disable the tab or will it work? and if upgrading it myself is a option, what do I use?
that is what I need help with, but I couldn't find much of anything for the p500 sprint model.

I have gotten as far as opening that LG software but it doesn't doesn't register the phone ( i get a code 10 error on my USB device) but that's besides the point. Does anyone know another way to DE- brick this particular phone or am I out of luck
Also any advice on the code 10 error would be welcome as I've tried quite a few things.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
I couldn't find any useful info on the code 10 error (except a suggestion to reinstall/update the device driver, and at worst, try a different PC - Windows 10, if you have it, can be a problem).
