Recently bought two Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pros, one for me, one for the wife.
My white one came perfectly fine, my wifes red one on the other hand is missing a few applications. The one we really mind and need is the Android Market application.
Can anyone upload the apk for the Android Market for me? How would I go about downloading it onto her phone?

After couple of updates and resets, my market was completely gone from my Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant. I used attached file and now MARKET is Back. Great job, thanx a lot.

CORRECTION...
Market did start to work, but I guess that because it was made for a different phone with a different needs and reqirements, I wasn't able to install, or even find some apps that are made specificaly for my SGS Vibrant that I had previously. I searched some more and found another Vending.apk (market) here - and now I am back in business.

I Have the same problem,
The first time I turned on the phone, I found the market. So I tried to download the attached file and after installing it I still can not install applications. The Market crashes when download any application.

You can do the following if your device is rooted.
Download root explorer (google it)
Put the vending apk on your sd card .
Then copy it from the sd card to system apps make sure you enable mount to RW.
Then hold on to vending apk and set the permission to
Rw-
R--
R--
Make sure you mount to r/w because somtime it switches back to r/o.
Reboot your device.
If I was you I would use the batch version of tattoo vending apk its more better it allows you to view those apps which are filtered by market because of screen size.

Or you can debrand your mini pro to uk generic code and update to latest firmware it shoould install the market for you.
I had market then I changed my market to tatto version then when I debranded my mini pro to get the latest firmware it reinstalled the original market so I had to re put. The tattoo version again.
If your handset is branded you mite not be able to update it and even if it does update you won't get market.so you will have to debrand to uk generic or any other generic search for debrand x10 mini /pro on x10 mini forum.

Thanks, That installed the market but I get force close when i try to install anything. I read somewhere that the vending file has to be in update.zip format and flashed that way. Is that correct ??

first root it ither the temporary or permanent..i did it wid temporary..den open root explorer and copy vending.apk from ur sd to system app..make sure to mount r/w..den paste it in app folder...long press the apk file and select permissions..and set it like dis

Qq launcher is an adorable infant in early stages, very nice layout and beautiful.
Technically no real options, I'm going to keep this and stay up to date.
Dx, this launcher has got the most beautiful transitions I've ever seen. Its semi fugly and could use a facelift. Not alot of options either too. More then Qq but not by much.
Didn't install Tescent because I already got MIUI installed and its not in English
When installing Qq, becareful of it. It has alot of demanding permissions including calling contacts and texting them without your approval. Along with Dilly dallying with your system tools. Just keep an eye on it.

The permissions are something to be concerned about... Dxhome asked me to update from an external server and since I updated the data connection is continuously in use, other apps can't access the internet..

Ya just tried to install...cudnt...crap!
MIUIwiz still the best.
I'am already using Brigo's MIUIwiz version. Thing is, MIUIwiz is jerky @ 667 performance. I purposely test which lancher really fly at 667. And MIUIwiz does not, its still jerky no matter what preferences I select. But Tancent is really fast even @ 667. Tancent looks the best from the three. But its true they all feel suspicious. MIUIwiz, ported by our guys, safe, stable, complete package.
Hey i just noticed this! u guys having trouble with tancent? I' ve installed it perfectly and I dont see 'everythig' chinese, just 2 icons, a clock widget (although u tap on it and enter ur City name in English.) and folders named in chinese (which you can edit and name them in English) besides those two strange app icons i dont see anything written in chinese.

But most probablt it got something to do with recompiling
Currently out, will try to solve when back home
What i did :
Decompiled the apk
Opened up strings.xml and used uzitech to translate(simple cp of strings doesnt work, had to do some edits)
Recompiled
It didnt install
Copied signature from original apk still it didnt install
Can anyone help on this?

LOL it wont work at all
Reasons:
1: open the apk - you wont get a values folder without decompiling
2: the compiled xmls are binary xmls while the decompiled ones are normal (readable)
3: thats it!

I use this PC Suite to tranfer files between my PC and Touchpad. Its Really great and has a lot of other utiilities. To change the language to English Just delete all other languages from Installation directory and keep english or you can right click on the taskbar icon and choose the language english. It will install the drivers for Touchpad by itself. Click on tools--Files and wow

I downloaded it scanned it with a few antiviruse programs installed it switched to English but a lot off the instructions are still in Chinese and I deleted the outher language files but it just reinstalled them when I opened it.
I tryd for about 45 min to get it working but I can't read Chinese so I gave up lol it seems it would work but untill they release a fully English version I can't confirm but it is safe for anyone who understands chinese hope that helps you guys

did it installed the drivers for you Touchpad?................after touchpad connects everything is changed to english when you choose the english language from taskbar. But all the online content is still in chinese..........anyways I dont care for online content I just use the built in Utilities

I have a Samsung i5510 ( Galaxy
551), Rooted, with a stock Arabic
2.2 firmware ..
After I've downloaded an
alternative virtual keyboard from
the play store, it seems a good
choise .. so I went ahead to Root
explorer to delete the stock
virtual keyboard, I deleted the
two files " AxT9IME.apk " and "
AxT9IME.odex " ( after reading
it's ok to delete it if I have an
alternative )
Now I don't have the stock one
and that's fine .. the problem is
with the physical keyboard, I can't
switch the language to Arabic, it's
now in english only, Arabic ( the
secondary language ) hade gone ..
the swiching button on the
keyboard just does nothing now
I'm not talking about forcing a
rom to type in Arabic, because it
does indeed ( before this problem
ofcourse )
I'm talking about what these two
files have done to the physical
keyboard, I can't use it for arabic
now ( but I can use the virtual
alternative for that )
I've tried downloading the two "
AxT9IME " and forcing them to
system/app, but it doesn't help

Yeah thank you anyway for replying, seems that i should do what i hate by installing the whole rom again, because the files of this model are rare, and i don't know about things like extracting certain files of roms.
