Does anybody know of a good rom that supports Voice Dialing and Search? I am currently using Energy Rom and it does not support Voice Dialing or Voice search. On T-mobile stock rom, you can assign the send key to Voice Search and Dial. Is there a non-oem rom that supports this feature?
Thanks for your input.

I'm pretty sure this feature is only enabled for android phones, and as far as I know has never existed for winmo. If you want this feature simply put android on you hd2.
For sure, latest Artemis V42 ROM (based on new 3.14 HTC ROM) supports Voice Dial via Cyberon Voice Speed Dial.
I've tested this on my HD2 with my old Motorola H605 bluetooth Headset.
I'm able to start voice recognition with headset button and speak through headset microphone the name of the contact to dial or the application I want to start.
Moreover all system sounds (also MP3 music or IGO8 voice) are routed to headset.
In this case the sound quality is low (H605 is not an AD2P device) but it can be recognized very well.

Anyone know how I can get the UK female voice back for text to speech I had before my android 4.0.3 ICS update last night ? It's a dreary voice but one I got used to. I'm pretty sure it's the same voice that I'm still getting in Google satnav. If I could get the satnav voice into text to speech it would be great.
In language and input under text to speech output, I can choose either Google text to speech or Samsung TTS to read out my text. Google has one american female who sounds more phillipino and one english male whose voice sounds shaky. And in Samsung TTS, there's just one english voice, another female who sounds phillipino. Is that all the options I have for text to speech voices, have they taken away the voice I used to have? I use it to read out my appointments in my Calendar Snooze app. I read about Ivona text to speech on android market to add more voices but it says it's incompatible with my device so I didn't download it.
Hello,
I bought the app for voice dialing Voice Speed Dial. It looks very good. You want to use the voice dialing via BT HF (via the button), but unfortunately I still starts with Voice and when you turn it off, so I started Google.
I would please ask you how you can nastvit it to run directly Voice Speed Dial? Calmly, even if off or uninstall Google search with Voice - just do not use these applications.
Thanks so much for any advice.
Hey, I've actually got a Mesmerize, but as you know, it's the same phone. The voice input doesn't work. When I talk, it doesn't "hear" me. However, when I open my voice recorder, I can record my voice just fine. Anyone know what's going on? I couldn't find anything about this anywhere.
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
I use a handsfree with voice control in the car .
I press a button on the handsfree and the voice control is started.
Then I say "Anrufen + contact..." and it works.
... At least that's how it was until my new Redmi Note10 with Android 11.
Now the voice control is started, but I always get the message:
"Sorry, I can't help you right now because mobile data is disabled on your smartphone."
In the Google app I have already downloaded in the settings -> offline speech recognition German.
I also installed English(US) offline speech. Doesn't work either.
Is there another offline voice control to start a call?
