When install app2sd I got an error could not save to sdcard due to there is already folder at there.
When I connect using ./adb shell I got an error to connect. The message describe that there is a problem at /system/bin/sh When I compare the content of sh, it is the same with content of sh.sh at app2sd. The phone still can connect to operator (still recognize sim card).
I dont have an idea to got back to initial condition. So I perform "Factory reset"
But after reset, It cant recognize sim card anymore.
So, I perform flash using flashtool from bin4ry in order the phone could normally again.
But when flashing I got an error like at image.
Would you mind give me a solution for my problem? Thanks for solution and help

Everytime i try to copy a large file to my phone i usually get the following message:
"the device has either stopped responding or been disconnected"
in particular i am trying to copy an android build to my sd card so i can test it.
PS: i was trying to format my sd card, but i couldnt find the "sd card format" in the settings...
i am running energy rom (august) and soon will be updated to the latest version
either connect in disk mode, not activesync mode, or use a card reader.
is it possible to tell me how to find the menu to switch to disk mode? tbh im kinda lost in the settings with the energy rom :/
edit: nvm. i think i got it. thanks for the reply mate!
I updated my x10 mini to 2.1 yesterday and now everytime i connect phone to PC
and click on Mount USB phone just restarts. Does anyone have the same issue?
although this is not a x10 mini thread, i experience the same problem (with my mini) after upgrade to 2.1. i wonder if it is not because you sync with "my phone explorer"... do you?
Android Commander
Use android commander to transfer files does not require putting into USB mount mode.
Or MyPhoneExplorer.
It used to do that back on the RF...014 firmware.
They seemed to like it so much, that they implemented it again!! lol!
*sent from my X10i
mine does it too. but it happens when i plug the usb cabel to the device so the software above won´t work..any solution?
When you connect phone to PC choose to "charge" after that choose "mount" no restarts
but it restarts just after i plug the cable into the device, i have no time to select one of these options
Have you tried connecting the phone with another computer, usb port or usb cable? If that doesn't work...
Have you tried connecting the cable without the sd card inside?
Try that, if it doesn't restart you know it's the sd card that's causing the problem. If you have an sd card reader (some laptops have them) put it in and copy your important files and format the sd card to fat32. You can also use the phone to format the card, but you will lose everything on the card.
Hope that helps.
thanks for your reply
but i had to flash my phone again and now i´m not having this problem anymore so far
Same thing happens to me too. Yesterday updated my X10 Mini Pro to 2.1, now the phone restarts, when mounted. I have tried on 2 computers (PC and laptop). Just now tried the suggestion to choose "Charge" and later "Mount" from status bar, seems to work
Actually, just now i remembered that this started happening not right after the update, but after i enabled Text-to-Speech or Speech-tp-Text or whatever it was. Will be trying to switch that off later.
for me the upgrade to 2.1 solved the problem...try to re-flash

I use exactly the same workaround on my X10 mini pro. This bug started after the android 2.1 upgrade. I never had it before...
It happens only when I mount the SD on Win7 and not on Ubuntu Linux: Could it be a driver issue?
EDIT: btw the issue disappeared after i uninstalled the live wallpaper

phone restarts when I mount usb pen drive to it!
My wt19i restarts some times when I mount pen drive. The mount buttun pressed and then screen turns black, then restarts. Please help me.
Try to move those apps which you use more frequently to PHONE STORAGE or kill their procces before you mount your USB...this helped me
I was on nand android and wanted to reset phone to stock rom(selling my phone).
So I downloaded and put LEOIMG.nbh to my sdcard and then pressed reset button. After that i booted to bootloader and it asked something lik: "u want to apply update from sd" and i pressed "yes". Then it installed something and after that it booted to bootloader and showed the message as in image I included.
Second image is what it shows when i try to install nbh from sd card.
What should i do to get my phone to stock again?
E: if i try to install any .exe roms it goes few percents and then my phone disconnects and flashing stops
Did you download the correct stock ROM?
Did you correctly decompress the RUU.exe file?
Did you use a large SD card? Sometimes, bigger than 2 (up to 8) GB does not work. Furthermore, the card should be formatted FAT32, and the ROM image should be in the root directory - but only 1 ROM image.
Can someone please help me?

lost winmo 6.5
I have (had?) an EU HD2 (with original ROM and RADIO). I had problem with blutooth, after 2 mins disconnected.
I thought the factory reset is a good idea to solve my problem. After factory reset (settings ->security -> factory reset -> 1234) my phone lost the winmo 6.5 cab files. Now there is only SENSE (MANILA) on my phone, and HD2 is looking for cab files on Windows folder.
I downloaded the cab files from internet, but with Actyvsinc I can't find Windows folder. I tried to take cab files to root or in other folders or to memory card. Not works. Without Windows Mobile - File explorer - I can't run cab files on device.
I tried run RUU from my PC, but I had ERROR CODE: INVALID VENDER ID
I tried this process too: 3w.jayceooi.com/2011/01/01/how-to-upgrade-htc-hd2-rom-through-sd-card-video without any result.
After reboot - after error message - the phone try to find WiFi access point. Is its possible, that automaticaly will download the missing cab files? (at home I don't have WiFi router)
I tried with those files:
htc_leo_wm65_5in1_eeu_1_66_v02_1.cab
htc_leo_wm65_5in1_eeu_1_66_v02_2.cab
RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_1.66.479.2_Radio_CRC_Signed_15.32.50.07U_2.07.51.22_2_Ship.exe (same like my phone's)
Can someone help me?
Hii devs
These days I can't get my phone connected to my pc neither mounting my sdcard. I tried that even through my recovery, in vain ( I've got TWRP Recovery & root).
I got alcatel x'pop 5035d. I tried a fresh install with One touch upgrade, a backup with flashtools. Can't recognize my phone ( ps: I got all drivers installed and fine since I tried that before. )
Then i'm stuck with the annoying unkown device from windows, unable to mount my sdcard, and even a factory reset didn't change a fact.
I hope you can help me to figure either is a hardware or a software problem, and help me get through this problem.
Thanks
You can't mount your SD card on your phone? Did you try formatting it?

My SD card is fine and readable by my phone.. im just wondering is there any solution to get my phone connected to pc because when i do it only keeps charging..
Fixed using Stickmount [root required].
Hi, ive got this old bricked tablet, cant enter recovery mode, not recognized in windows when in fastboot mode, nothing working basicaly,
i want to flash it and i CAN'T, its getting frustrating after 3 days i decided to ask help here!
this is where im stuck:
i want to use Rockchip SD disk tool 1.59 to make a bootable SD card for automatic flashing.
First sd card not working, SD disk tool keeps saying loading firmware failed, ok buy a new SD card San disk 16gb
perfect it works!i managed to create a bootable flash IMG but its not flashing or doing anything when powered on with sd in it.
so i try to reflash it on the card, and it keeps giving error again now even on the new SD card : Loading firmware failed! I tried using SD card formatter to format the card, still loading firmware failed!
somebody please help me before i lose my sanity, i cant sleep because of this i want to handle it so badly.
edit:
oh and i dont think usb debugging and oem unlocking are turned on and i cant check!
EDIT 2: OK so i figured out how to fix the loading firmware failed, on the SD card formatter i had to tick the box , overwrite format! this fixed it, but the main problem still remains, the tablet wont boot and flash from the SD card.
EDIT3:
solved by flashing stock rom using fastboot in linux, or maybe Linux_Upgrade_Tool_v1.2 , i cant remember which of these worked in the end, i just know linux upgrade tool was hell to use, with chinese instructions
