Hi! I don't know if someone of you thinks It's a problem, but when you get a SMS when your phone is off, and you turn it on the next day. You can't see the details on when the message was sent. It only shows when yourself turned the phone on. Is there anyhow you can do so it will show the details on when the SMS was sent?.
Thanks for all the answers!

Hi!
I have a Problem with my Prophet!
I have no problem getting mail while in the Standby-Mode. I just want it to notify me when I do receive mail by waking up and vibrating. Or stay in Standby-Mode and just vibrate. I would be happy with that.
If the Device is ON, its vibrate and it comes an alert!
If I wake up my Device from the Standby, I see the notification for an new eMail!
Please help me!
I have the WM6 Touch Rom from Gullum (with the 8MB Pagefile)
I found a similat Thread in another Forum, but there is no solution at the end: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=256863

Repeat notifications for text and email messages D 5S~Nd7
Under HKCU/ControlPanel/Notifications find the following keys for Email and Text messages:
find Key 15F11F90xxxx for reminders.
Copy the Options value from the Reminders key and overwrite the options value in both email and text message keys with this value (1073741853)
to the
key A877d65Axxxxxxx
key A877d65Bxxxxxxx
Once you do this, go to start - settings - sounds and notifications - notifications.
UNder events, select new email message OR new text message and you'll notice that th repeat option that was greyed out is now enabled and can be selected.
More and less the same problem.
My problem is that i canĀ“t check the repeat box in "Reminders" or in any other thing.
Can u help me on this?
Tks

How do you keep WIFI always ON, when phone goes on standby?
Hi guys, It's possible to know the times of the message has been sent?
when i turn on my x10, it only shows the times of the messages are being received. It does matter to me when the message is being sent.
for example: if someone send a message for an emergency at 1pm, and fews hours later, you turn your phone on and see the times of the message being received on your x10 which is quiet late for an emergency.
On my N97. It does have this feature which is very useful to me.
Just long press on the message and you should get a pop up with View Message Details and it gives you the time.
On the Handcent SMS app which I prefer to the stock app, it gives you a time just above the speech bubble containng the message on the thread.

thanks for your input, but i dont think you understand my question.
This also annoys me. Every phone I have ever had has been able to show me the time the message was sent, not just received. But even when long pressing and then selecting 'Message Details', it still only shows the time it was received, annoying!
still no one can answer this?? that's suck
Does anyone have a problem with texting on 2.1, where you can only send a single text message at a time? If the message takes up 2 or 3 messages it will not send.
I've checked the phones SMS settings and they are correct.
And can anyone recommend me a good keyboard?
Cheers.

Hello everyone
So, I've searched before submitting this post and I didn't find a recent enough thread providing a simple fix for my problem.
I have a very disturbing problem, when I shut down my phone and receive SMS while it's off, when I receive thoses SMS they won't be set at the time they were sent, but at the time I receive them ...
Let's say I turn off my phone at 8.00, a friend send me a text at 8.15, then I turn my phone back on at 8.30, the incoming SMS will show : sent at 8.30
This problem occurs in the stock SMS app but also in ChompSMS.
I'm running a rooted galaxy S4.
So far, I've found two solutions, but the first one isn't satisfiying at all since it will add the time in all my incoming messages.
Ex : my friend send me "Hello", and what will be displayed on my phone is : "Hello (sent at 8.15)"
The second one is this one http://www.xda-developers.com/android/sms-show-sent-time-for-galaxy-s-i9000/
But i'm not sure it will work on my device and not sure that's recommended either.
Can someone help me fixing this ?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english !
Hello All,
Im hoping you can help me out here with my issue.
So I used to get notified whenever I received an MMS with data turned off.
I could tell its an MMS but I could not read it.
In order to read it I would have to turn on my data and the message would show up( whatever it was picture or group message
or a High priority system alert from a server from my office)
Now 2 weeks ago I dont know what changed but this stopped happening.
So I turned on my data one day and I started receiving all these MMS messages that were like a week old.
(one of them was an alert from my office)
which means i was not getting any MMS notifications.
and in order to get MMS notifications I would always need to keep my data on.
How do i get my old setup back which I used to get notified whenever I received an MMS with data turned off.
and In order to read it I would have to turn on my data and the message would show up.
Im on family mobile FYI. Im using stock Nexus 4 ROM. No Root.
Im using GO SMS PRO & switched to CHOMPSMS
Please help me !
Any responses are monumentally appreciated.
Sincerely,
-KK
