I'm the owner of an LG GT540 Rooted and everything running 2.3.1
and i would like to know if this theme would work http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=759990 or someone can or have port/ported it?
its such a awesome theme
And i have to thank my friend joost for telling me how to create Thread's

and no i tried so many versions and none worked :c
Maybe when you try it with openswift 2.2.1 it will work because this theme is for cyanogenmod 6 and 2.3.2 is cm 7...

i will port that for you, it will take a day or two for openswift and maybe 3 for swiftdroid.

You have to edit the pngs in the 'res' folder of framework-res.apk

Hi everyone,
This is my first real attempt at themeing and i wanted to start out with the HTC keyboard. Its a simple yet elegant looking theme that you can flash using metamorph.

OrangeSpark Keyboard APK!
Rename the OrangeSpark Apk file to HTC_IME.apk and replace the one in /system/app then change permissions to rw-r-r
Metamorph
Updated with a few fixes to v1.5!
Download Orangespark Keyboard
Download Darkspark Keyboard (gloss black themed)
Metamorph Instructions
1) download metamorph from the market (its made by stericson, a mod and dev on xda)
2) move the zip to either Androidthemes folder on your sd or anywhere else but remember where you put it
3) start the app and let it run the checks
4) choose unzip/extract new theme
5) point to the location of the zip
6) let it extract the file
7) hit apply all!
8) reboot

If you would like to revert to the stock htcime keyboard download HTC_IME.apk replace the apk in /system/app and change permissions to rw-r-r

Hello sir. Im reporting back now haha.
it works, but longpress on a letter results in fc.... the landscape typing doesnt show what im typing....
the look of it is awesome tho.

No I meant that you didn't need to use metamorphs to theme it. I'm sorry I haven't looked at what your keyboard does that gimpsta doesn't. Have been busy with army bs lol.

switched font yesterday xD got the one from android dev forums.
After changed to this font the Status bar getting thicker about .7mm. Gosh, I tried to install back stock font and other fonts. But no help. ANyone has an idea?
So, in my custom ROM (based on cm nightly), I want to set a theme (which is an apk) as the default theme when the ROM boots up. Like, I have ics theme apk in the rom and when i flash rom and boot up for the first time, the default theme should be ics...not cyanbread or system theme.

You could try to grab /system/data/themechooser and include in your ZIP, otherwise, spit the forum Chef central > Android.

My ROM already has themechooser!...I am asking how to set a theme .apk as default theme?
You have to get themechooser.apk sources and modify the code with the name of the theme you want to be default. Then you compile it and put in your ROM.
