nice i just bought them but it took me some time to install it for some reason,, strange i had to try 5 times to download it and install it (i guess a lot of people are trying to purchase them)

I just downloaded it and I get a FC, I cant even get to play the game b4 it FC. I unistalled and re-installed atleast 10 times and still have the same problem.
Works great for me. I had the ripped version because it wasn't in the tmo market a couple months back, but I'm now legit.

I've got the same problem. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?
Every time I try to download the EA games and anything else that's not free, I get a server error. I'm running eugene's stock froyo with jk6 modem. I tried uninstalling the market update that I downloaded from xda but the update came back from Google.
Anyone else have this issue? I really want to get these games before the special ends!

I also received this error when I try to download paid for apps at the market place. This does not happen to me when I try to download free content from the market.
so I am to assume that this error is the remote servers that are taking a beating.

I bought nfs yesterday, and cannot get it to play for anything. The furthest I've been able to get is buying a car, it usually closes way before that. It doesn't give me a force close error, just goes back to my homescreen. Does anyone know what the problem is and what to do about it? Thanks!
I think they might be selling the version not very compatible with our phone. Mine works fine.
I've played a few races today and haven't had any troubles either.

Works for me on Nero V3+voodoo.
I guess you are past 15 minutes for refund, but contact EA.
I hope you got it for .99 and it's not big of a deal in the wallet department, bummer though you cannot get to work...

I've had it for a month, played/plays great. Completed all races, now need to collect the stars. You should contact EA to see about getting a more compatible version, or just Google NFS shift .apk and download one, since you've already paid.

Yeah, I did get it on the 99 cent sale, so it didn't hurt my wallet, just sucks that I couldn't return it. I did contact EA, they just gave me the link to their forum, which wasn't a big help. If your phone number displays as "unknown" in your About Phone settings, that's probably your problem. I believe that issue exists with Macnut.

I just bought it 20 minutes ago and it runs smooth on my 3d (for those wondering if it works good or not). There's just a bit of lag when you drive but nothing too game breaking.

Try buying it on a different phone. I use my brother's LG G2x to buy games, since seem to work, then I just back it up using Titanium Back up and use that same back up to get the game on my phone. I also do this with gameloft games since they sometimes don't show up on my Evo market.
I am playing it as we speak, it is EXACTLY like GTA III on PS2 and I have been addicted since 3:30 this afternoon, haven't even eaten I'm so hooked. But it works fine on my 3VO, haven't had any issues whatsoever!
I have been having issues all day with this game. Earlier it let me buy the game and I couldn't download the extra data needed to play, so I uninstalled. Then when I get back home and try to download I can't find it on the market. I followed ur link and it bought me back to gta, but my device is not compatible. Any ideas?

I have couple idea's if your rooted. First change your build.prop in /system/ to trick it into thinking you have a different device. Follow link for information http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20185036 ) second try market enabler.

Game runs fine, wish it ran better. If only there were certain settings to use with Chainfire since usually it crashes with GTA3.

The paid version is free to download for two days, free versions usually end in the first level (DEMO) but this one goes all the levels foward, im on level 3 already =p

DN3D is a full version of an app that usually costs 99c, once purchased you can buy Episode 2 and and Episode 3 in app for 99c each. What we are getting for free is the first episode, I'm sure they are hoping we like it enough to buy the other two episodes.

No probs here with CM7 Weeky4. You could also try in Chainfire3D there is an option called "Fix Market settings" that says it will "make more apps visible".
Still free and also works on the new xoom ^_^ thanks!

Certain ROMs have issues (for different reasons) regarding the Market and some apps. Maybe your ROM needs a market fix?
I cannot for the life of me imagine playing this on a phone.
It is barely playable on a 10-inch tablet IMO. Way too much work for the little bit of fun. Uninstalled it.
i am very excited to try this. Also, is this based on the newest Duke Nukem game for PC?

I uninstalled the game after trying for an hour to play it well.
controls were difficult. The lower right controls are difficult to navigate.
Can you guys see it on your market, it was released dec 15 and is supported by the photon but i cant find it, its 40% off right now so i wanted to get it

Its showing for me on the stock rooted rom. What market version are you guys running. Maybe the app creators took it down temporarily so they can fix a few things since the entire comments are filled with idiots *****ing lol.

I can see it in the market and already downloaded it. I've only played a few minutes of it but it works great so far. its on sale for $3 now. I know for a fact the photon is one of the few supported devices. If you can't see it on your phone's market then i suggest trying the android market website
Its up now and on sale till the 29th. I can see it on Market and Amazon. I'm on stock rooted latest OTA. It runs fine on the tegra 2. BTW, check out the disabled effects you can enable here:

Can you recommended one? I've never had to do that.
Edit: I tried the Eris market fixer and now it shows modern combat but it says its not compatible.
A friend at work has a Droid bionic, I logged into my account with his phone and bought modern combat. Can't download it to my phone yet, but at least I got it while it was only 50 cents.

Also happened with Sleepy Jack I purchased in December. WTF stupid market.
So here's a messed up update, I decided to play with slim ics again and now modern combat 3 shows and let's me purchase in the market. You know, once its back up to $6.99 again...
The sad part is I'll probably still buy it cause I've been wanting it for a while.
Edit: so now it shows but if I try to purchase the game the market gives me an error saying it can't be found. It only does it for this app, all others work fine.
Edit again: never mind, got it to work.
I was able to play dead space when I was on a GB ROM (JetPack), but now that I'm using ICS ROM, the game says that the app is not authorized for use on my device.
I'm currently Using ICZen rc1.3 with Subzero build 18 Kernel and i can play both games on my phone.
This is because you're on ICS. You can edit your build.prop, but it'd be easier to go to GB/Froyo if you want download and play them.
Had this issue trying to download GT Racing Academy when I was on this rom.

its kind of weird that this happens, both games run great on the vibrant,i don't even need to over clock either. They run just as good on ics as they did on froyo for me
not sure if deadspace is a full game or demo on samsung apps. But I got it at no cost.. I looked around if its a demo or not last time but I couldnt find it
