Hello everybody! I have the problem with my Samsung Vibrant, please help me.
The phone doesn't get any service when you insert you T-Mobile sim card. It says "not registered in network" whenever you make a call with it.
It get signals as shown on the signal bars but says "not registered in network".
I don't know is this a software or devise problem. may be if I'll unlock phone it will be work.

It could be that you have a bad sim card. You can call tmobile and they will send you a new one. Or you can go by the store and they will also.

Hi Guys,
My friend has asked me for some help with his x10i.
He's purchased it from a market, and it was locked to T-mobile.
Its since been network unlocked by a local store, in theory to allow use of any network sim card.
However when you boot the phone with a sim card in, it comes up on the notification bar
"Phone Not Allowed MM#6"
It will show the little signal bar full.
Checking phone status it shows
Service state - In service
Mobile Network State Disconnected.
It appears to register onto a network, be that orange o2 ect.
But we are unable to make outbound calls, receive calls.
Yet browsing via gprs is working.
I have checked the IMEI with the T mobile. They advised that the phone is clean and not barred.
I have Tried different Sim cards i know are working.
I have Flashed the Firmware back to Stock, Tried the Latest Firm and a few other different combinations.
I am now Stuck.
Any suggestions?
Thank you

did u try calling the network provider your sim card is with? they usually may have to program the network with imei number of the phone
u can also try going to network settings, search networks and choose the one u r on.
Just got an HTC One made for T-Mobile and when I insert my mirco sim I get a WiFi Calling Error: ER05 and get zero service. The phone recognizes the phone number on my sim. Is there a solution to this problem? I'm on 4.1.2. The IMEI also checks out on T-Mobile's website.
Maybe I should just re-word the entire thing by saying I get limited service but zero bars, but it says emergency calls only. The previous owner had T-Mobile and it worked for them.
I'm just looking for a way for my T-Mobile HTC One to recognize that I have T-Mobile.

This is very simple fix.. the error is a WiFi calling error once u turn WiFi on it makes calls over WiFi only
The problem is you get the red WiFi icon and error cause u have to
Update your 911 emergency. address
Under your my tmobile app
Under services add your home address and Info then submit .
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium

I've done this and the error goes away but still no service, it does however say emergency calls only.
hi
the network signal in the notification bar is good (3 or 4 bars) but the error message (NO sim card detected, Insert sim card) always appears and the phone doesn't make or receive phone calls or messages , when you try to make a call it says "you are not registered on a network"
the strange thing is that even with no sim card inserted in the phone , it still shows good network signal . i tried different sim cards and did a factory wipe , still the same problem , What do you reckon ?
Thanks
I reckon you're in the wrong forum. This is the S3 forum. Not the S3 mini forum.
Hi everyone, I recently bought an used S8+ (G955F). The seller didn't say it had any problems. I happily went home, inserted my sim card and turned on the phone. Entered the pin code. Then it all went downhill really fast. I will list my observations here (tried with multiple sim cards from different carriers, same stuff every time):
Signal - 1/4 bars when out of the city, 4/4 when in the city.
When sim is inserted and the phone is turned on pin code is required.
When trying to call anyone, Not registered on network error is shown.
When trying to send an sms to anyone, "Currently unable to send your message . It will be sent when the service becomes available" error is shown.
When pressing Select network operator automatically in network settings, "Unable to connect. Try later" error is shown.
When pressing Select manually, "Error while searching for networks" error is shown.
Internet not working as well.
At first I thought it was a demo phone, checked IMEI and baseband version - they were there, so I think it isn't a demo phone.
Could you guys help me out in troubleshooting this device? Could that be a software or hardware problem? Any help will be appreciated <3
Some things I forgot to mention
MM#6 error is present.
However, I checked imei.info and imei24, the phone is not blacklisted on both. Also it shows as unlocked. What is going on

I'm starting to wonder if this community is dead, lmao. Or just unwilling to help. Sad face.
