Hi Geeks,
I'm using T-mobile Vibrant and would like to what are all latest updates available for this model?
I have already updated to JI6 via KIES...
What are the recommendations?
Thank you,
Nikhil
You are running the latest official update. There have been several leaks for Froyo 2.2 I think 5 of them so far the latest being JL5 and if you research here you will learn how you can put that on your phone. These are only leaked version but the devs here have made them very stable. Once again you have the latest official update.
Oh and welcome to XDA. Rule to remember please post in the right section as this should be in Q&A.

Froyo should be available to all Bell Vibrant user's starting tomorrow via Kies. Is anyone planning on doing some hacking at the stock rom and provided a Modified Rooted Rom?
Thanks
Hang on, let me get my popcorn out of the microwave
if it is pushed out tomorrow, yes. this belongs in the q/a section. people will flame you.
Hey everybody I just bought my Galaxy tab 10.1 wifi only a couple of weeks ago and decided to try a new ROM. I have a Samsung Captivate (AT&T) which I actually found a 2.3.4 ROM for, which I love (even though it was never released in the U.S. / leaked I think). Anyway, I'm trying to find the stock OEM 3.1 ROM to put back on my Galaxy tab (the U.S. one) but I can't find it ANYWHERE. I just don't understand how it's not out there, as easily as I found it for my Captivate. If I'm wrong, please let me know. If you have a download link, please send it or any advice would be appreciated. Not sure if email is allowed to be posted on here but it's [email protected] Oh yea, found the OEM ROMS for the Asian and European tabs just not the U.S. one. Thanks everybody.
Appreciate,
Bri
Check out the Task and Phantom "Extreme Stock Experience" in the developers section. It's stock Honeycomb, only optimized.

Thanks yo I appreciate it. I will have to check it out.

Check out teamovercome website for KME restock. Its exactly what you want if you need to flash stock. KME is the last OTA update for the US wifi only tab. If you had your tab prior to KME, the last update of stock non-touchwiz is KF4. Tasks and Phantom extreme stock is KF3, so if you want KF4 you need to flash the original KF3 CWM backup from pershoot and do OTA to KF4.

Moving to Q&A
Can any phone running android 2.2 be updated to 2.3? Or is it just a specific list of phones. The phone in question here, is a Samsung Galaxy Q. It's running stock 2.2. I would like to update it but there don't seem to be too many instructions on the internet.
Any ideas...?
I think Samsung didn't make an OTA for your phone so there could be the possibility that they dropped your phone... . Nevertheless if you root it, you can put 2.3 on it manually by flashing a rom. (but this depends if there is one available of course)

Can we upgrade micromax A35 to its os 4.0.1 ICS
if there is any solution to upgrade this
Unfortunately, Samsung did not upgrade our phones to 2.3. They dropped support altogether. I owned this phone and there is no way to upgrade it since it isn't a common or high-end phone. However on the bright side, you can root your phone and even unlock it (I did this). Depending on where you live, you probably bought it unlocked .
There is a thread here that discusses this phone. At most you may be able to flash a version of the same ROM without carrier apps if you're in the USA. Other that that, there really isn't anything for this phone. I might be able to search up the links for rooting and that XDA thread if you're still interested.
Good luck!
Hey guys, I just wanted to ask if anyone know a good post on CyanogenMod how to's and info I was thinking of trying it out.

Well if you wanna know how too flash then I suggest just going to the development section and looking at the CM7 thread by the official Cyanogen Mod account.
It says how to flash and what to flash and other stuff.
You can always visit their official website: http://www.cyanogenmod.com/
If you do end up flashing it to your phone, use a KANG, I think the lastest stable and nightly still have the 911 issue. (Because Vibrant support hasn't officially been reinstated yet)
You can find KANGs in the Vibrant Android Development section.
Hello, I have a Galaxy S II, I want to upgrade to Android 4.0.3, which firmware you advise me.?
I want a future that would allow the update via OTA and the Kies.
Sorry for the ignorance and Parabens by the Forum.
My version is low!
this BADLY needs to be moved to the Q&A section. Development threads only in this section!!
If you want to keep all the official update methods then you will just have to wait on Samsung. Flashing one of these voids your warranty....

Stock is better than any of the ICS builds currently available for me.
New CM9 build is highly recommended.
Edit: Apologies disregard. Kies/OTA requirement spotted.
Regards
I guess its easy to summarize that there's none currently, as the ones currently available are leaks and not officially released by Samsung, and therefore, you won't be able to update through OTA or Kies.
Wait for a few weeks for the official version.
