Hi Geeks,
I'm using T-mobile Vibrant and would like to what are all latest updates available for this model?
I have already updated to JI6 via KIES...
What are the recommendations?
Thank you,
Nikhil
You are running the latest official update. There have been several leaks for Froyo 2.2 I think 5 of them so far the latest being JL5 and if you research here you will learn how you can put that on your phone. These are only leaked version but the devs here have made them very stable. Once again you have the latest official update.
Oh and welcome to XDA. Rule to remember please post in the right section as this should be in Q&A.

Hey everybody I just bought my Galaxy tab 10.1 wifi only a couple of weeks ago and decided to try a new ROM. I have a Samsung Captivate (AT&T) which I actually found a 2.3.4 ROM for, which I love (even though it was never released in the U.S. / leaked I think). Anyway, I'm trying to find the stock OEM 3.1 ROM to put back on my Galaxy tab (the U.S. one) but I can't find it ANYWHERE. I just don't understand how it's not out there, as easily as I found it for my Captivate. If I'm wrong, please let me know. If you have a download link, please send it or any advice would be appreciated. Not sure if email is allowed to be posted on here but it's [email protected] Oh yea, found the OEM ROMS for the Asian and European tabs just not the U.S. one. Thanks everybody.
Appreciate,
Bri
Check out the Task and Phantom "Extreme Stock Experience" in the developers section. It's stock Honeycomb, only optimized.

Re:
Thanks yo I appreciate it. I will have to check it out.

Check out teamovercome website for KME restock. Its exactly what you want if you need to flash stock. KME is the last OTA update for the US wifi only tab. If you had your tab prior to KME, the last update of stock non-touchwiz is KF4. Tasks and Phantom extreme stock is KF3, so if you want KF4 you need to flash the original KF3 CWM backup from pershoot and do OTA to KF4.

So after having had the iPhone 4 since release date. i thought i'd switch it up had picked up the Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE edition found it too big for my hands, went back to the Galaxy S2 standard in white.
Now i'm in canada, Using a bell Unlocked Unit GT-9100M i believe.
i'm trying to install this theme. but i get stuck at a boot loop every time.

also in terms of custom roms what would you recommend to a newbie
Did you root your phone ?
if no read this section and root.
SGS2 Bell/Virgin Canadian Thread Q&A (Root/Unlock/Firmware) Modems/Mods
second you need to use odex or deoxed rom for the theme to work.
what kind of rom are you looking for, so can point you in the right direction.
You could use CheckROM RevoHD V4....it will automatically install KitchenPro, and you will have the abillity to install themes directly from there or customize almost everything you need on your phone.
But this means you have to root your device, if you haven't done it yet.
Can any phone running android 2.2 be updated to 2.3? Or is it just a specific list of phones. The phone in question here, is a Samsung Galaxy Q. It's running stock 2.2. I would like to update it but there don't seem to be too many instructions on the internet.
Any ideas...?
I think Samsung didn't make an OTA for your phone so there could be the possibility that they dropped your phone... . Nevertheless if you root it, you can put 2.3 on it manually by flashing a rom. (but this depends if there is one available of course)

Can we upgrade micromax A35 to its os 4.0.1 ICS
if there is any solution to upgrade this
Unfortunately, Samsung did not upgrade our phones to 2.3. They dropped support altogether. I owned this phone and there is no way to upgrade it since it isn't a common or high-end phone. However on the bright side, you can root your phone and even unlock it (I did this). Depending on where you live, you probably bought it unlocked .
There is a thread here that discusses this phone. At most you may be able to flash a version of the same ROM without carrier apps if you're in the USA. Other that that, there really isn't anything for this phone. I might be able to search up the links for rooting and that XDA thread if you're still interested.
Good luck!
I'm a newbie on SGSII and need your help.
I took a GT-I9100M and I don't know if I can put some regular GT-I9100 rom on it. Can be gingerbread or ics version, I don't want some carrier version anymore.
Is it possible without issues?
Thank you.
Patrick
Hi,
I'm using the one from Bell as well, you just need to root it then you can flash any ROMS you want. I'm under CM9, right now.
Using a GT-I9100M as well, lots of options.
Some good reading in this thread here, should get you started in the right direction.
sgs2 bell/virgin canadian thread q&a (root/unlock/firmware) modems/mods
xaznxplaya is right. I'm using Bell i9100 and running CM9. Good luck!
Thank you for helping.
I'm reading that huge topic about canadian SGS2.
Some people around told me that I can't flash a rom designed for I9100 on any other variations like I9100m. Is that correct or it's some kind of hoax?
My I9100m is still on buggy 2.3.3. I'm thinking updating to 2.3.6 or ics. ICS have 100% functionality or there are some resources like camera, gps and others that don't work well?
