I have 3G available on my X10 mini, how can i connect the phone to my laptop so that i can browse net on laptop using 3G Connection on mobile. I am not seeking wifi teethering, but is there any otherway like connecting via usb cable etc?

I want to know is there any method to connect it to internet using my Laptops broad band via usb or via wifi. I use connectify but it tells only ad-hoc is available and my x10 mini does not shows ad-hoc network.will any body pls help me to connect my x10 mini to internet i'm using dell studio 1555 Laptop via both usb cable and wifi.

Hey bro, if you look in to the dev thread for the mini about minicm6.1 rom, I think it has wifi adhoc enabled so you can conect to your adhoc with mini then. Cheers, evilbarcode.

try easytether apk for usb tethering or barnacle wifi tether apk for wifi tethering. in my view barnacle is best....................

I connect my x10 mini with my laptop using my wifi pan to connect my x10 mini to internet via my laptop's broadband but my x10 mini cannot connects. it tells obtaining ip address and automatically disconnects. is there any solution to this problem. please anybody help me.
Maybe you are using manual settings in your wifi that do not match your router (gateway, dns etc)...
Or.. if it is using auto settings.. Then try the opposite =p
Put the manual settings for your router/network..

I have SE Xperia X10 Mini and trying to set up stable wifi. I tried to use SE 2.1.1.A.0.6 and MiniCM6 ROMs with same results.
When wifi is connected to virtual access point(Connectify on Win7) connection drops constantly after 0.5-2 minutes. It reconnects after 10-20 seconds but wifi is quite useless.
When wifi is connected in ad hoc mode (on MiniCM6 ROM) all works fine, I was very happy first time, but phone goes to reboot after screen turns off.
I would be very grateful for any advice. I'm realy tired trying to config stable wifi connection...
It works with normal wifi router(D-Link DIR-300). So using Virtual Access point from Windows 7, Connectify and USB Wifi Adapter with Xperia X10 Mini is bad idea...
I run the CM7 (Android 2.3.3) on my X10 Mini Pro and try to connect WiFi to my D-Ling DIR-655 but the connection drops all the time and the network dissapears in the phone. Everything else seems to work fine except for the WiFi
well i have same problem i'm sing adhoc for daily and always getting reboot when the screen turns off thats happen in all custom rom ,i wanna try ad hoc in stock rom still didnt figure out how to do it.
Look at wifi settings and provacy policie, or reflash the rom and the problem will gone.

i seem to have a strange problem with Barnacle Wifi Tether,
when i use Barnacle Wifi Tether my SSID Name is 'kashnet'
but sometimes when am on my laptop and search for my wireless network (looking for my router) i find my Barnacle Wifi on it with strong signal but the problem is that my Barnacle WIFI app isnt even running on my phone!
how could this happen? is this a bug?
am using x10 mini pro running Mini CM7 Pro V21
