Guys, pardon my ignorance, I am a total newbie here as you can see. I am an iPhone user and can work around with iPhone pretty ok and I am new to Windows Mobile devices.
I am very enticed to upgrade my Windows Mobile Device to the later version which i Believer is Windows 6.5.
I downloaded the "cooked" roms as they say it. I dont know if its similar with the booloaders and stuff in iPhone but anyway.. I must say I am totally nood with the terms used in Windows Mobile Development community. Pardon me.
I just cant find the simplest tutorial on how to upgrade my device. I was hoping someone would be sooo KIND to lend me a hand. I am dying to see Windows Mobile 6.5 run on my device but I am not sure how to do it.
I am currently running Windows 6 Professional.

I've asked Nokser if I can help out with the android project, perhaps I should also have asked about helping with the W7 as well (I have no mobile dev experience, but am a J2EE dev).
WP7 is not ready yet. Better situation is with Android...
I have seen another OS in Toshiba.
i hope to 1st OS is WP7. but android i like too.

This is now the 3rd thread at my count discussing WP7 for TG01 including Noksers.
The tools to build a WP7 rom are just not available to us at the moment, i understand there is development in this area on the HD2 but that doesn't mean that it will ever come to the TG01. I hope it will, but i doubt it will be for a while yet. We can't even get android running and we have devs that know linux. WP7 is a completely new beast that we must tame and constantly asking " is it available, will you make it for me, i want it now" won't speed up the dev process.
I understand that discussing these things is helpful but these threads are fairly pointless. If you want info on porting WP7 then go to the WP7 section of the forums, badgering nokser or anybody else will not make it happen and opening a new thread just makes the relevant information difficult to find.

I would like to install android to my t-mobile US htc hd2. I would like to somebody to help me by remotely connecting to my computer and help me do this.
I hate windows 6.5 it is freezing and texting is freezing. I really like to use android all the time.
I would like to pay for this service not much but something.

My advice to you, sell your Windows Mobile device, and buy a naitive Android device. Then you will have Android as it was designed, there are still bugs with the Android port on the HD2.

from waht you have said i'm convinced you have a stock rom which, to be honest, is a pretty sucky choice. The HTC stock roms all have bugs but i seem to find that the custom roms have fewer (i know it sounds mad, may be it's just me) Before you sell your HD2 try customising it a little bit. There is plenty of help available if you wish to look at this. I would even freely admitt there are people out ther that i have helped over MSN and they are all now very happy HD2 users.

I personally think it will be a while yet before an SD build is avaliable, but then again I don't know if running Windows Mobile 6.5 from SD will be a very viable way to use the OS. I mean it is a a lot different from Andriod in a lot of ways as car as the actual stucture, size, and demand on the processor. I do know as well as everyone else that DFT anounced they are working on it wich is awsome, and ic anyone can do it they can. But I think we still have a long wait before we get to see the fruits of thier labor. Oh and here, I also seen another thread a little wbile back but I could not find it.
Hey everyone im going to get a radar from somone soon and i was wondering if we can get win 8 on it? i see that it was shipped with 7.5 but i think i have seen it has 7.8 right now. i am a android Geek so i know alot about rooting and flashing i have heard windows phones have a simular rooting thing.
