you said you can follow instructions ^^^, so you shouldnt have a problem with this. you just have to be patient and READ. you are the only person who can unbrick your phone, so ultimately you have to rely on yourself, and your ability to do a bit of research.
if you dont understand something, search for it, otherwise you are going to get chewed up and spit out on this forum. in fact, im surprised the sharks havnt gotten to you yet, they can smell noob blood from 10 miles away. savages.
PS - in the future, disable Voodoo before flashing anything...this is probably the number one cause of bricks
PPS - also, your post was kind of difficult to understand, but dow13 was not "gone"....your phone cannot operate without a kernel.

This is a universal problem across ALL ROMs and has been discussed in EVERY single ginger bread based ROM in this forum, and as such I felt it was the appropriate place to get as much dissemenation as possible. Please don't insult my common sense as I assure you I have plenty of it.
As for the quote of "Pandora ROM" I'm pretty sure my post was NOT entitled [ROM] or [Kernel] or [Mod] so give me some credit there... If someone who Moderates these forums thinks there is a better place for it feel free to move it, but the reality is I was trying to help as many people as possible, I didnt post something that says, "Excuse me how do I do an hboot or flash a ROM" I posted a universally applicable piece of information.
Have a fantastic day and for all of you flaming me enjoy your Pandora now that you know the fix has been released (even though it was posted in this forum)

Regardless of the reason it is still the wrong forum. Explain it however makes you feel warm and fuzzy but this is the development forum and a market app update is not development. Just saying.
Also if people didn't see it in the Themes & Apps forum they would have seen it when they loaded the market and saw there was an update available.
I could give two ****s where its posted. I'm glad I seen it cause I normally just browse my favorite threads.

I was using it earlier for about half hour straight and it played like it use to so the update was def a Improvement for me. I'll try it again later, using sirius right now.
EDIT**: I can confirm that Pandora does work now, after 2 hours so far, its still going strong. FLAWLESS!

It astonishes me to see you have such a massive ego and mock someone else when you yourself have just proved you can't do something as simple as follow a forum structure or even use the search.
Did it occur to you that maybe if Revolutionary worked on HBOOT 1.5, that the thread concerning HBOOT 1.5 might actually say this? Or instead, you could have just gone straight to http://revolutionary.io/ and seen for yourself? It's kind of strange that you would say that "these kinds of questions never get answered in Q&A", because I decided to visit that section, and guess what the first thread I saw was? This. Is that not enough of an answer for you? Were you expected a tailor-made response from ARX? Guess what; the world doesn't revolve around you or that phone. When they figure it out, if they figure it out, you will know right away. If that's not enough, I can use the search function (something that someone who is not a "noob" should know about), and show you several more threads were there's the same question and the same answer.
It's not really anyone else's problem if you can't A) Read, B) accept that the answer is just "not yet" or C) use the search function. So calm down with the ego a bit, eh?
I don't think I've seen anyone stupid enough to admit they posted in the wrong area without even bothering to search, but still have the gall to mock someone else who's telling you otherwise. This is what's killing XDA. Posting questions in the dev section is akin to putting all the pages in a tech manual in random order and expecting people to find what they need. I abandoned ALL Evo development because of all the questions that got posted in the dev section after the price drop. This was days away from releasing what would have been a webtop equivalent for the Evo PC Project.

Hey forum,
First off I'd like to say, I have done quite a bit of searching on this and either get caught up in endless pages of crap I don't fully understand or I just can't find the answer. My apologies if this issue is simple and out there.
With that said, I'm definitely a noob at all the rooting and ROMs for phones. I've spent 20 years using cell phones as.. well, phones! Had no idea the world that was waiting for me and the time consuming hours of research and trial and error.
So I got the Amaze and first off, wanted to root it so I used CWM which is currently running. I then get an update notification for ICS but every time I try to install it, I'm stuck at a green X logo.
Is there a way to install ICS with CWM already on my phone or do I need to remove it first? I have searched for both answers which is why I finally set up an account and created this thread.
Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated!

Hey thanks for your incredibly condescending reply! I see by your "thanks" meter you obviously have no idea how to provide value to others, especially newcomers.
use hasoons toolkit to flash the stock recovery back onto your phone, then if the boot loader is unlocked go and relock it. then after those 2 things are done, attempt to upgrade to ics.
after you upgrade to ics you can root and unlock it again.
