I think he's wondering if someone could port the MIUI project to X10
And there's a malfunction version in AOSP's post
That won't work before the X10 2.2.1 AOSP is stable

i think what he meant is whether there will be anyone porting over MIUI to X10i

miui tech preview is here

MIUI Theme

Is there a way to use MIUI Themes on CM6 or CM7?
Better to wait a MIUI Rom, isn't ?

[Q] Can anyone make Gingerbread AOSP for X10 Mini Pro

I have MiniCM7Pro v21 by Paul but was wondering if anyone could make an official gingerbread rom from the AOSP sources...
Thanking you in advance.
Why you want that? We have Cyanogen unoficial, it's more stable and has many more options, and all the X10 MP devs are working on the ICS.

CyanogenMod is stable but I understand you. DOing AOSP port is complicated, but you propably want to have not branded firmware?
I also feel like CyanogenMod is a bit 'too much' at times.
For instance: there's a lot of options to configure the lockscreen, but it never gets as good as widgetlocker. So when you use another lockscreen app it's all excessive code.
Right now I think CM7 is a heavier OS than AOSP Gingerbread?

it takes too much time and resources to resize miui to ldpi... this question has been asked several times plz do some research before posting
It's not mdpi>ldpi that's the problem, miui is written for armv7 cpu, needs full recode to armv6

This is 2.2 but it is MIUI style......
On top of all that, the sources arent open :/
I hate to say it but I don't think you're in luck. When official SE support for this phone faltered, some people moved on. In the last 2 months I've noticed a HUGE drop in visitors, readers, contributers to the Mini section. So I would be shocked if something came from this.
And interest in MIUI for the Mini is probably shown in the existing MIUI roms. You know you can do a good job with an MIUI theme, launcher, pick up the audio/pictuers etc.

MIUI for Xperia U?

Someone working on some MIUI for Xperia U? I would really appreciate any development!
MIUI is proprietary, so no one but MIUI devs can port it.

Yes, but no
You can hack miui framework and apps into CM/AOKP -> I've done it myself before.
There is also the MIUI patchrom thing.

Miui porting is practicly easy
We ported it to many galaxy low end armv6 devices
Since xperia U is armv7 we can actually port almost every rom
Atleast we meed some experience and base roms
I am just happy that i can leave my old galaxy and get my xperia U soon
