please can someone help me, i have a htc hd2 and i put android on it but it was a mistake i really want to put windows mobile 6.5 back on, but how do you do this, i cant seem to find anything explaining how, can someone please help me, ive tried running it through ruu but it cant sync up to my phone now its running android, cheers guys

No need to sync to Activesync. Just put phone back into bootloader (ie volume down + power on), connect usb and then run the ruu.
Enter in bootloder by holding (with the phone close) the volume down volume key then press power button ... then flash the original wimo rom
thank you for the help but my issue is that when i do that it just stays on the multi colour screen and, if i just turn my phone on the bootloader runs nand straight away. how can i get into the botloader, its weird, thansk again guys
Dude u need to have a stock rom.. AND THEN FLASH IT IN BOOTLOADER...

Hi guys, could someone please help me??
When I turn on my nike it just freezes at the operators screen and nothing happens. Hard reset many times already and still the problem.
The problem is that it doesn't boot and the computer doesn't recognize it when I plug to the USB cable either..
Really don't know what to do..
Is that a way that I could access the bios?

Try inserting the stylus into the hard reset hole next to the charging port at a 45 degree angle, then push forward. afterwards you should go through the hard reset prompts.
Download original rom, remove battery, press camerabutton and powerbutton at the same time, now your in bootloader, flash original rom.

Does anyone have the original ROM for the HTC Touch Dual? I tried downloading it from the HTC website but I keep getting the response that the download is not for my device.
Alternatively, what are my options? Is there any other ROM I can load onto my device? Thanks.

I flash the rom and the phone went dead. No bootloader no power, no red light when connected to cahrger. No activesync posible and keep asking for qualcomm drivers. Try all buttons combinations, soft reset button and still nothing. any help??? . HTC HD2 ( T-MOBILE )

Come on people some basic troubleshooting info is needed to help ...
What ROM did you flash, or what radio?
Willing to bet if your phone is a TMOUS you flashed an asian, HTC or EU ROM to it with a x.xx.51.x radio, if that is the case, welcome to brick city ...
BTW, piece of advice, choose a better title for your threads, you might get a better response, just screaming for help tends to be frowned on ....

It is bricked it will not turn on ...
Maybe someone else wants to wade in here and look at this, but I am 90% sure you bricked it ...

Bottom line is you wont be able to turn it on. You flashed an incompatable rom and now you have a great brick I am sorry to say.

I was running android from my sd card but now wanted to go the NAND way. I installed HardSPL3 to 2.08 and then flashed MAGDLR to the phone. Everything was fine up to here.
Now the problem bit ....... The call button on my HD2 is depressed(I must have sat on it at some point), however it still worked. When I get to the option screen in MAGDLR and go down to 'flash from usb', the call button does not work, so I can navigate up and down but can't select anything!
I'm stuck in MAGDLR ......... Please help!
......one last thing, if I were to have the fault repaired what am I looking at cost wise.
Any help greatly appreciated

Try removing MAGDLR by flashing your official rom from SDcard. This should remove MAGDLR and get you back to WM.

I did flash a stock ROM from my SD card and everything goes fine untill I reboot the phone. Then the MAGDLR screen shows up again. How can I get rid of MAGDLR now because I need to send my phone back to HTC so they can repair the touchscreen which isn't working.

If you download and flash the official ROM for your HD2 you can flash it via bootloader. While your phone is off press and hold down the volume down button. Connect your phone via USB cable and wait until you see USB in the white bar of tbe bootloader screen and your computer to show it recognizes ths phone. Right click the ROM package and click run az adminostrator. The ROM should flash and remove MAGLDR, bit it has to be an official ROM as a custom will not remove MAGLDR. After flashing is done put phone back into bootloder to check SPL version. You want the SPL of the ROM you flashed. If it is not righr download HSPL 4 and use it to set the correct SPL, hint you want the SPL x.xx.0000 not SPL x.xx HSPL.
If you want to just to make sure flash the official ROM via SD card and it should remove MAGLDR, CWM, and HSPL if house have them. Go here to learn how to do this.
what happens if your down volume button doesnt work. is there any way to flash back to your old rom using magdlr? my call button still works but every time i put it on usb flash and try to install the original rom it doesnt seem to work

if you don't have a recovery, the thing you can try is:
get HTC Sync
get an official RUU.exe (on htc website)
and run the exe
and definately root your phone afterwards

i did try the phone shop to fix the phone volume key but every one saying they can't fo it :s

If it was me I think the only thing i would even think of trying IF ITS STOCK rom and all. I would try to use the offical tmobile upgrade rom somehow. If you can plug it into the PC and the computer "knows its there" then I would try the offical tmobile rom. I hope you find a way to fix it. Good Luck

The same thing is happening to me...I donr know how ...but I turn mt phone on and all of a sudden there was a message saying that there was an error and to push the up volume. To hard reset...and it did it by its self...cause my down volume. Doesn't work...so tthe phone knew it had a problem...I fixed it...loaded some of my mods...andvthe error now came bavk and I'm screwded once again...hoping that message will come back...I let it sit for hours and that's when it came on...???

That wouldnt work cause we can't get to the home screen to the browser /internet to download anything...so we are screwed...
