Please make sure you checked the "Make device discoverable" option in phone's bluetooth menu while the Latitude searches for your device. And remember that the option will un-check itself after two minutes and make the phone invisible again.

Hello all,
I'm new here, have read lots of the information available, but came here looking for an answer that I haven't found yet.
Situation is the following.
I got this Qtek2020 (or XDA II) from my dad who used it for his work. The reason he stopped using it is because the "phone" function itself is kind off acting weird.
Sometimes it is just nog possible to get into phone mode, neither of the two methods make te device display the dial pad...
- hitting the green button
- going Start-> phone
(It's kind off like a non responding program in windows when you want to execute it)
To make things clear, the phone works fine if we go to contacts and then choose the option to call the contact.
The question is, does this problem seem familiar and is there a way to fix it by for example putting a new rom on the device?
Any help or input about this is greatly appreciated.

I think the HARD RESET should help . After a long... long work configuration data and other settings going to be ... melted . If U don't store on devise impotrant data just remove the battery for about 20 mins .

Just received a TG01 as insurance replacement for HTC Touch HD (none in stock) on Orange and getting used to it, for better and worse...!
One vital thing I keep finding is the connection sometimes switches to using 3G when I am connected to wifi. On the HTC, it was a simple case of using Comm Manager and turning off the Data Connection. On this phone, the connection manager just has 'Phone', 'Bluetooth' and 'Wifi' - and they're either on or off. The 'Phone' option turns all the functions of the phone off, including the data connection, but it's not exactly ideal.
The phone is running WM6.5 - the comm manager doesn't look very Microsofty so I'm guessing it's a bad Toshiba add in.
Any help getting something decent and easy working would be appreciated!

Anyway, I use the famous app Modaco's NODATA

I've tried both apps - the first one only disables connections in a sort of semi permanent way and says you have to manually stop any existing connections when you turn them off - the point is, I can't manually stop the existing connections, that's what I want an app to do, and what Comm Manager used to do!
The second one complains about the .net framework and refuses to run, even though I have the latest redistributable on there, having windows mobile 6.5...
So I'm still a bit stuck.
I will post a comparison when I get the chance
You are welcome! That's a bit odd. I've been using NODATA for ages, on mi former device and now on TG01 under WM6.1 and WM6.5.
You have to be off data (not connected or only wifi connected). Then you ENABLE of DISABLE each mobile connection with the soft key "Toggle" and that's all. Which ROM do you have? Does somebody else have problems with NODATA?

I'm having problems with nodata on myTG01 (Evealex V5 ROM).
As soon as I launch it, it gives me an error message.
It used to work great with the second original toshiba ROM.

Install attached HTC comm manager.
and do the following for Wlan:
Go to key in registy "HKLM\Software\Drivers\WLAN" and copy the value from 'AdapterName" string. Now go to key in registry "HKLM\Software\HTC\CommManager\WLAN" and edit "DeviceName" string. You see there value like this: "{98C5250D-C29A-4985-AE5F-AFE5367E5006}\TNETW12511". Delete the last part of this value ("TNETW12511") and past the value "AdapterName" which you copy at end. Make soft reset and that is all. Now Wifi button on your device should work properly

Yesterday i bought a LG E510 (Optimus Hub) and i have a small problem.
My network carrier (COSMOTE) has embedded it's internet setting (Broadband APN) into the phone. the issue is that their plan has only 50 mb of traffic. So, i've activated another data option that has unlimited traffic.
But here's the catch: the phone selects their broadband APN by default, even though i've recieved the settings for the new option. In short, i select the new one, and when i return to the menu the broadband is ticked instead. I tried to delete it, there is no such option. i can't even modify it. How should i fix it?
PS: i just rooted the phone if that helps
Does anyone know what to do? I thought of putting a custom ROM on my phone but i would prefer to keep the factory one for the moment...

Lg optimus hub problem

i have one big problem with lg optimus hub. my phone worked just fine for few months, but today just from nowhere i can not hear anything when i'm calling and also others can not hear me(when i use headphones it works normally). Also if i want to play some music there is no sound at all. i know that speaker is ok, because alarm works nomally but i dont know how to test microphone(voice recorder doesnt work). also i noticed that when i'm trying to call i can not choose speaker or mute- those buttons are gray an can not be touched.

I'm wondering if there is an app package available that would let me control my android cell phone, from an android tablet. IE, Bluetooth paired or on the same wireless network, can the screen from the phone be sent to and displayed on the tablet, with control given on the tablet. I'm mostly interested in being able to text without having to put my tablet down and pick my cell phone up, but full control seems like a normal step up if it's available.

Yes, As the title say, The new year began with a great loss. My Dell streak 5 fell and broke the screen.
No display (but can sense, I can unlock the screen without any visuals).
Phone is not rooted. Debugging is not enabled. I tried Looking all over. But am stuck in this situation. I did check other threads as well . But cldnt get help.
I tried using "my phone explorer" but it requires Debugging ON.
