I was looking for peoples opinions on which roms seem to have the best battery life.

I think all of them are about the same. xtrSense is nice if you want the stock feel but without the bugs or lag.
The froyo Roms get good battery life with theright apps and settings. If you go froyo o suggest getting toggle2g as it greatly helps my battery life.

If battery is such a big issue, just buy a Seidio 3500 mAh battery and you'll never worry about what apps and ROMs to use
KaosFroyo with CFSv5, Toggle2G, and the Collin_ph battery tweak. Getting 24+ hours.
Thanks for everyones input

Ok, downloaded toggle2g. Not sure of network settings for verizon. I have it set to switch at 50% but it didn't seem to do so.?

So ObsidIan rocks and already gives great battery life but I do see posts where people are claiming battery life lasting up to sixteen hours of moderate use with battery to spair. Anyone got any suggestions?

All I did was recondtion. Drain to 0 recharge fully wipe battery stats. I get great battery life

I'm at 16 hours right now with about 24% left to spare. Use has been moderate/heavy today.
Thanks, looks like when I did the wipe I didn't do it when it was at 100%, nor did I drain the battery all the way. I will have to do that. Going to get Onyx right now
Just wondering who's using either.if these apps with their EVO 3d and how much battery do you save?
thinking of trying one.

I'm running green power pro. It works great for me and gives a nice amount of extra battery life.

I'm using juice defender, and it's telling me I'm getting x1.59 battery life. I've been off the charger for 36 hours with moderate use (display-91%, os-3%, standby 3%, internet-2%, bluetooth-1%), and my battery is sitting at 10% now with an estimated 4 hours battery life remaining.
Never tried green power! Why not just try them both out for yourself (there are free versions of both), and see what you like best?

Hi. Brothers! I found my sola sleep well last night(no wake up) and with 3g data off but battey drops crazyly. Is it a bug or my battery is out of order??? Thanks!

Seems to be the battery. Such huge drain doesn't happen in deep sleep mode.

maybe an app you installed is on background using resources while on Sleep... try a factory reset before you blame the battery
I have the same issue. Started using Juice Defender and it really helped my battery. As it is, Sola's battery life is poor, so on 3G its really sad.

I also think that there is a app which drains your battery very much
This is my Battery Life:
Lately I've been noticing my battery life isn't doing as it good as it used to be. Nothing troubling, but enough to make me want to look into getting a battery saver.
I've tried Juice defender but it won't ask for SU permissions for reasons unknown, therefore it doesn't work because the app log shows up tons of errors without permissions.
I have looked up on Google for other battery savors but most sites say Juice defender. What else can you guys recommend? Or maybe help me with juice defender? Thanks guys in advance!

Use greenify

I use greenify too. Also the ktweaker app within the ktoonsez kernel has some pretty good battery saving abilities. Specifically project Icarus profile does pretty well on my phone.

So many to choose from

I've used JD and it worked, but in all honesty 2x Battery by AZSoft works better than that. Get the Pro version so you can enable night mode and all of the features. I've tried GreenPower too. That one works, but I found that it disabled stuff too well and I wasn't getting notifications when I wanted to. I have 2x set up to sync every hour during the day and 2 hours at night. I'm also using CPU Tuner and Greenify. I'm not a power user, but I do use my phone and end up using about 3-4% per hour.
